Strader Lawn Services

Before the townhouse I’m living in now, I lived in a townhouse with a condo fee. Basically, I paid a crap load of money each month to have someone come out and clean the common area of where I live. I didn’t have a yard so I could care less about lawn maintenance. I have a yard and now there’s something to worry about.
Call me pretentious. I’ve never mowed a lawn in my life. My dad always wanted to do the yard and everywhere I lived didn’t require for me to get a lawnmower. I’m actually proud of my never mowing a lawn streak. It’s better than The Undertaker’s streak (WWE reference). So to keep my streak alive, I’ve decided to hire Strader Lawn Services for all my yard work.
I’ve known Mike for years. Many people I know have used his services. I have even referred him to some of my clients.
He does everything from mowing lawns, to landscape and turf installation. That’s right. Turf installation. I have a putting green in my backyard! All year long the grass is perfectly green. Standing on my deck, I can see how my neighbor’s yard looks like crap. My backyard? Stunning all the time. Sure, my dogs have taken the yard as a big potty pad but a little bit of water and soap cleans everything up. So it’s our arrangement that I maintain and clean my putting green (yes, my therapy) while Mike takes care of my front yard.
This time of year we’re dealing with falling leaves. I left the house this morning and saw my neighbor had raked up all their leaves. My yard had leaves all over… you couldn’t even see the grass. Then I came home and my yard looked immaculate. I forgot that Mike and his crew did their every other Tuesday run with me. What a pleasant surprise.
Check out the pics. I highly suggest artificial turf. It’s pretty all year long and hardly and maintenance.
