Never coming again. When you have 3 people behind the counter, and 2 customers looking at bats directly in front of you, I thought it would be common courtesy to just walk over or even ask (because that’s how close we were) if we needed help looking for something. But no. The three guys just kept playing with stuff behind the counter. I asked how much a softball was just to get attention and after looking on the computer to tell me it was 2.99 went back to doing whatever they were doing behind the counter. I felt like my wife and I weren’t even noticed the entire 20 mins. we were in there. And the equipment seems highly overpriced for being used. Only 1 star because I can’t give 0.

They have a ton of used sporting goods for just about every sport and used excersise equipment. I was in search of an aerobics stepper new or used. Couldn’t find one on Craigslist and they were about $ 70+ new on amazon. Came here and found a brand new one for $ 49.

Terrible for soccer. Prices were too high on rest of inventory. No military discount at this location while all other area play it again sports have the discount. Staff are not motivated at all.

Do your research before shopping here, everything I’ve found used can be purchased new for nearly the same price. In some cases the used equipment is priced even higher! It’s a shame this company is scamming shoppers because I really like the concept of recycling old equipment. The customer service is very poor. The workers cannot answer any questions about the equipment and often made me feel unintelligent for even asking. I’ve tried very hard to like this place as it’s the closest sporting goods store to me in Chesapeake but I am giving up. I will not be going back.

I recently started participating in the sport «Disk Golf»!! Not knowing where to turn to purchase my first full set I ventured to Play It Again Sports in Greebrier Mall area (Chesapeake, Va) only to be amazed by the selection of not only NEW disks but near perfect/​new used disks. The prices were very reasonable and the clerk that helped me actually broke out some very informational posters as we both learned a bit more about the sport. During check out is when i looked around the rest of the store only to see about 9 more things i’d been looking for for those weekend BBQ’s. Needless to say, i’ll be visiting this place again! Keep it up and thank you for the information!
