I’ll never go back. The staff was slow, rude, and acted as if we were bothering them by being there. The hostess just stared at us when we came in and then sat us at a table in a dark room by ourselves. We opened the blinds and were yelled at by a waiter. We still weren’t greeted for another 20 minutes and then we asked if we could move out to the deck.
It took 50 minutes to get our food. Our waitress never checked on us.
After we finished eating we waited for our bill and had to go find our waitress. She said she lost it and we had to wait another 20 minutes just to pay. It was very tempting to just walk out.
I live near here and wanted to like it. I’ll never recommend it and I’ll never go back.

The food was good crab dip was good we eat it all. And the fried fish and shrimp s good also. The service has been ok. Good came out fast

I always give an establishment 3 tries. There will not be a fourth visit. The wait staff does not get it. We want to be waited on. We want a drink, and a meal, hopefully before midnight. Fire the cook., fire the manager, Oh heck, just close the doors. Nobody will miss this establishment. Don’t even get me started on the food. There are too many good restaurants to waste your money here.

The restaurant wasn’t busy at all and yet our waitress was still incredibly slow. We were all completely underwhelmed with our food and have no plans to return. Don’t waste your money.

I’m really trying to like this place. Meals are a gamble. sometimes great, sometimes, meh. Burgers are rarely cooked correctly as ordered. Must be quite a range of cooks on duty. Best part is the outdoor area overlooking the water; but in summertime, can be too much sun in your eyes a dusk; wish they would put up some sun screens sails or something both outdoors in and indoors. Nothing worse than sitting there with the sun shining directly in your face for an hour or more. Onion rings can be great. but sometimes I get them and they are soaked in oil (oil was not hot enough to cook in), sometimes overcooked, sometimes just right, a crap shoot. This place has potential; but they need to step up the food game. They added pool tables. Adding pool tables is not going to help if the food is not good. Food should be the focus.

Had Brittany as my waitress who was simply amazing. Although it wasn’t busy, she definitely made the visit awesome.
I had the Reuben which is so damn good… also my party had the bacon cheeseburger which the size portion is insane.

Came to this place due to an event we had to attend last night. It was very nice. The staff was very accommodating and the food served was really delicious and better than I expected. The crab dip and pita bread was delicious. The crab did tasted just a little to cream cheesy… The wraps and club sandwiches was also very tasty. Along with the little chicken poppers attended. We would consider going back to have these dishes.
However, the only thing that I did not like and found sketchy was when it came to paying our tab, our waitress had our bill in her hand. She did not hand the bill to us. She just told us our total. It was nothing absurd. But I thought it was very sketchy and rude to not hand our bill over. For this reason, I’d consider going back as I question whether or not the waitress tried to take advantage of groups that were part of a large party.

It’s a nice place, but has issues.
We were a party of 4 and sat outside, the table chairs are comfy.
The waitress brought our waters quickly, however she like to have never come back to take our order.
She was nice just slow, very slow.
Food: everything was overcooked. We ordered a burger Medium, tuna tacos medium rare, and chicken afredo.
The burger had absolutely no pink, the fries were over-​fried, the tuna was well done and tough, as was the chicken.
I would not recommend it

Nice quiet place to eat and hang with friends or family. The outside seating has a great view of the water surrounding the restaurant. Affordable prices and great selection of food.

I am very iffy about this place. I have been twice before. The first time I went they messed up my order and went to remake it. The second time it came out it was still messed up, just in a different way, but because everyone else was done eating at that point I ate it anyways.
The second time (about 3 years later) was amazing. I have the mushroom and swiss burger and ordered it well done. It was so juicy and amazing, I ate every bite.

I couldn’t believe my eyes when I walked in and saw the most gorgeous bar maid. I dashed to her section and said «Hello…» she said «what can I git ya?» Beautiful and charming?! What are the chances. Nevertheless, everything about this place is wonderful. Come in and ask for Emma, she will sweep you off your feet. Guaranteed.

I’ve designed thousands of restaurants na that thousands of restaurants and Kelly’s food is good if you like hamburgers maybe appetizers but really it’s a good place to have a beer at, not a whole lot to say there… Have had more disappointments with food there and service and that is coming from A truthful source in the restaurant community. I might as well be a food critic after spending my whole life with the top chefs and cook and restaurant owners in Tidewater area Virginia.

Terrible management!!! How does management allow a mourning/​wake to take place in a public establishment? A party of maybe 10 came in and took over the bar and pool table area. They brought in a iPod to change the music, passed out lyrics, told people to shut up if they weren’t participating in the singing of one of the guys passing dad’s favorite songs. Totally unacceptable!!! Oh they get a star only because it’s required to make this post.

Ok. There are two sides to this establishment. There is the bar side with pool tables, has a great atmosphere, and a pretty cool bar. The other side is the «dining» side and is very quiet and family friendly. Pick a side to your liking.
Service was absolutely wonderful, food was fast and tasted great. I’ve driven by this place and always thought it was the building closest to the road. I’m glad that we decided to stop in and actually explore the tasty food palace a little ways back. The only thing that I could complain about is that the parking lot on the dining side needs a little work and gets muddy. To get around this park on the bar side and walk through to the other side if you want dining.
Kids menu is great with a good selection. Drink specials are nice. Not even my food service seasoned, extra critical wife had any complaints.

Last time we visited this location before today was about two years ago and it was nothing memorable even then.
My older brother is visiting from out of state and he suggested we come here for lunch and we did without a fuss.
It took a while for us to be seated even though the restaurant was literally empty. Even though the weather was dreary we decided to sit outside on the covered porched.
Our waitress was pleasant but had zero knowledge of the menu, she did not even know what the catch of the day was at 5 pm when we sat for dinner…
We ordered the fried calamari, Cobb salad and chilli for appetizers, I cannot decide which one was worse. I honestly do not know where to start or end about how bad the flavor and quality was.
While we are still working on our appetizers our main course arrived and you can call me picky at this point but I am used to a waitress coming to check if we are done with our appetizers and ready for our dinner but that did not happen.
Our table was covered with plates and food, things on the empty chair, things even on the porch ledge.
I ordered the fried egg burger, my older brother got the catch of the day which was rainbow trout and my husband ordered the tuna tacos.
I will start with the french fries because we can all relate to how basic they are to make and up until today I really did not know that they can also make or break a dish as well.
I am not a food snob or somebody with a very experienced palate but these fries to me tasted as though they had been fried several times because they were so stale that words just cannot describe. Chewy too, very chewy.
Everybody else said there food was just alright but definitely not worth the price tag.
We finished with our appetizers and of course our waitress was no where to be found so we put all the dirty dishes on the porch ledge and kept stacking them ourselves as we went on.
Overall service was just void, food was plain disgusting, the music gave as a headache (who listens to Britney Spears anymore?) and the bill was an ugly reality.
The flies must have thought this place was a giant turd because there were dozens on our plates.
An experience like this only goes to tell you that not only do the wait staff not care about quality, but neither does ownership all the way to the top. There will be no pity or surprise when this place is shut down for good.

Service wasnt good. Food cold and one if our orders was incorrect. Place was not busy so no excuses. Manager came to check on us after we requested him and rectified the situation. Thank you. Normally food is a lot better than this visit.

Place is kinda lame, food is mediocre at best. Fish tacos were ordered and they were only okay. Probably a nice place to crawl for some Great Bridge trout (divorcees looking for the D).

Location, location, location is all you’re going to get here. We came here a few weeks ago and were not impressed so decided to try it again. They have a great outdoor eating area with a beautiful view of the Great Bridge waterway. Service was VERY slow. Atleast we enjoyed the warm weather outside. Food was meh, presentation was not all that either. Very disappointed. Too bad, we really wanted to like more than the view.

If I could give ZERO… NAY! NEGATIVE stars I would. Never in my life have I had to walk out of a restaurant and refused to pay.
I wish we got our servers name, because she was by far the worst server I’ve ever had. I thought the location would be nice for a girls night out because it was by the water and someone recommended it to me. It was a Friday night and definitely busy. When we first parked it was a bit confusing because we couldn’t find the main entrance. We ended up by the bar where the bartender told us we had to go to the front to be seated. Fine. When we were seated, our server came to us and took our drink order. 20 minutes later we had our drinks. We then ordered our meals– a salad, a burger, a quesadilla, and a wrap. Nothing crazy.
In 45 minutes, our server came to our table to ask us how things were ONCE. We saw her go to every other table, apologize, offer a salad or maybe soup for the wait. NOTHING for us. She would glance at our table, but then service the other tables around us. She paid extra special attention to the table with 6 or 7 people– probably because she could get gratuity out of them and not us.
Finally she came by and told us the food was on the way. 45 MINUTES LATER we had enough. I went to the front to ask for a manager. None of the hostesses up front knew who to refer me to. Finally I got the manager who gave me a comment card and then told me to sit down and he would check on the food. A BLEEPIN COMMENT CARD? Shut the front door. The waitress came back to our table when she found that we asked for a manager and started ARGUING WITH US saying that she had been attentative. Once she decided to argue with us– we were done.
Let me make this clear– I’ve worked in the food business. If you just told me the kitchen was running behind, I would have been fine. But to completely IGNORE our table? Unacceptable.
I wish I got the waitresses name. She was absolutely terrible. Disheveled, rude, and a complete displeasure.
NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER going back EVER again.
