Bought our Merlin 5 ½ years ago. He was an adorable puppy. We told Jacklin we wanted a small size Pom, she said he will be a tea cup size when he is full grown. We wanted show quality, she said he was. We plunked down our 1500.00 We asked to see the Mom and dad, they were somehow both unavailable. People this should be a RED flag! (Think Puppy mill) instead we got a picture of his «champion» dad & met his «grandma» instead. He was not only TEACUP size, he was the size of a full size TEAPOT… service for 8! I called her, and she wanted to give me a Credit for another dog… I could turn him into her. Are you kidding me Jacklin?! I raised this puppy, and he was now a part of our family. If size doesn’t matter to you, perhaps black skins disease (loads of alopecia) and Patella problems does! I also have a friend who bought a Pom from her and also had the same issues. BUYER Beware. Bits Poms are not sound quality, sadly Jacklin is the Puppy mill breeders you are warned about and her. Name is MUD in the Dog show world. Ask your local Pom breeders… Stay away. Oh yeah and he has seizures! Jacklin: stop breeding please.

Our pom (baby sir tuckid) is now 5 years old. Such a great dog — perfect in every way. He gets attention everywhere we go. I would highly recommend Bitsy Poms to anyone.

I bought my first puppy from Jacklin 4 years ago. She is the most beautiful perfect Pomeranian!!! I get stopped everywhere to take pictures of her. We just recently bought our second Pom from Jacklin and he is just as cute. I am completely shocked at these false accusations about Jacklin. She has never had a store front or sold puppies in riverside and both of my poms are healthy happy Pomeranians. I absolutely LOVE both our dogs and would recommend anyone to Jacklin.

I bought 2 Poms from Jacklin in 2014 my niece is the one who referred me and her Pom is about 4 yrs old and he is beautiful as well! Mine are absolutely gorgeous full triple coats I get stopped all the time and asked where I got them! And she doesn’t just sell them to everyone she makes sure to ask you questions and also telling us how to take care of them! she loves her Poms and I have referred several people to her I would never refer her to people if I hadn’t meet her and have the healthiest most beautiful fur babies and I always thank her for that!

I love my dog, Athena. She is beautiful and has perfect health. We cannot go anywhere without people stopping us to ask about her or say how adorable she is.

K. Mathews has the prettiest, healthy puppies. My husband and I bought our 1^st puppy 6years ago. She has the most beautiful white and sable fur. She a joy in our lives so we decided we wanted another 1. I’m so glad we went back to BitsyPom for another puppy family member. They are high quality show dogs that I’m so proud of and love. I will continue to recommend this breeder. Her home is beautiful and provides excellent care and love to all her puppies.

I bought a gorgeous black pom from Bitsy Poms he is perfect, exactly what I explained to her I wanted in a pom is what I got! I spoke to Jacklin a few times she is very knowledgable and answered all my questions with honesty. I had an incident where I thought I could not pick up our boy but she offered to hold him for us which was very kind of her. Her home is gorgeous, very clean, and her dogs are healthy. Our boy is beyond perfect everywhere I go he gets so much attention, he has the most adorable face, he is very compact with a thick coat, not to mention how smart he is potty trained him in 2 days! Please don’t get discouraged by the negative reviews on Unilocal,all her dogs are top quality I don’t understand the negative reviews. The location is wrong even the phone number is wrong, it threw me off at first but after talking to honest people who have bought Pomeranians from her and meeting her in person I fell in love, so much that I just left a deposit on a 3 week old Black and Tan baby girl. I am 100% satisfied I will refer anyone who is looking at getting a quality pom to buy one from Jacklin!

Just bought a really really cute white poms puppy from Jacklin, she is very genuine, honest and knowledgeable. We contacted her back and forth for several times in order to make sure her puppy breeds is «healthy».
It is very worthy compare to the price and quality but most of all we have got a most wonderful new family.
If you are thinking about having a poms go ahead and contact Jacklin and maybe have a visit. Her poms are very healthy once you have see her breeding environment and dogs then you would understand those rumor about the skin problems are lies.
Jacklin will also provides AKC docs for every buyer which includes new born baby’s parent and some info, so I am wondering if those people who tried to slander Jacklin why can’t they show us the documents?
Anyway, I will definitely refer everyone and my friends who would like to raise a poms :)

If you purchase a Pomeranian from bitsy poms MAKE SURE you get pet insurance with the highest possible coverage!!!
I purchased my dog in June of 2014. I wasn’t sure how many stars to give this breeder because I LOVE my dog to pieces! He’s amazing, but he came with a lot of health issues! I decided two stars was fair. Some of his issues are common small breed problems and therefore possibly not Jacklyn’s fault (but many of them are genetic, and a result of the breeding). From my own experience, and by reading several other reviews, it appears Jacklyn does not pay attention to health concerns or hereditary issues with the dogs she’s breeding. Because of that, puppies we purchase could have a plethora of problems. My little guy is going on surgery #4 and he’s only 14 months old. He needed surgery for baby teeth that were not going to come out on their own and his adult teeth all grew in leaving him with double rows of teeth. It wasn’t an immediate problem, but would be in the future if left as is. He had to have six teeth surgically removed.
Getting him neutered was not a quick and easy procedure as it should have been. His right testicle didn’t drop (genetic). It was hiding inside him somewhere and they needed to surgically go in and find it. If left as is, future complications and problems were down the road!
The biggest problem however has been luxating patellas. My dog’s knee caps pop out of place causing great pain and discomfort… to the point he will not walk because it hurts him so badly. He just had surgery on his right leg to correct this. He started showing the same signs on his left side but even worse because I can hear the popping sound whenever he moves his leg! He will be going in for another surgery next week to correct the left leg. It’s so sad! I am extremely grateful that I have pet insurance, as my dog’s medical bills have totaled THOUSANDS of dollars! Bitsy poms has very well tempered, sweet, adorable pups and I don’t regret getting my puppy, but I’m pretty disappointed with everything my baby has gone through! Its hard to say which problems are the fault of the breeder and which ones are coincidentally just small breed issues, but I probably would have gone somewhere else to purchase a puppy had I know the problems Jacklyn’s dogs have. I just wanted to give a fair review/​warning to anyone considering purchasing from this breeder! You will get a precious puppy for sure, but be prepared for potential health problems that could come with it. :(

We bought a Pom almost 10 years ago and hands down the BEST thing we have ever done ! My Buttercup is my soulmate!

I simply don’t understand the bad reviews. My husband and I found Jacklyn two years ago on the Internet, drove from Vegas, and bought a Pom from her. One review said that her dam was Coco Starlet, well so was ours. Our Pom (Max) has a BEAUTIFUL coat, wonderful personality, and EXTREME teddy bear face! We love him so much and thought that Jacklyn does a superb job at breeding Poms that we just bought another one from her! No, her Poms are not cheap, but that is because of her champion blood lines and her dedication to breeding top quality dogs. You want a cheap Pom? Go to a pet store the sells half breeds (and FYI… Jacklyn does NOT operate out of a store so I’m not sure why the map shows this is her location. NOT EVEN THE RIGHT PHONE NUMBER!) To the review that stated Jacklyn wanted outrageous amounts of money for paperwork, I see that no more than a misunderstanding on the buyers part. Claims of alopecia? I had to Google it myself. Seems to be common in dogs, and the most common cause looks to be mites. Even if a vet determines its an immune deficiency, are you sure you have a Pom that is 100% from her blood line? Do you really think she would risk her reputation? I am not a «friend» of Jacklyn’s who is posting this just to improve her ratings. I am simply a very satisfied customer who is giving credit where credit is due. I will continue to purchase from her and refer her to anyone looking for a show stopping Pom. I purchased Theo, my male Pomeranian, from Jacklin in June 2011. Aside from his amazing temperament and perfect behavior, he has had a lot of problems. He came to me with a bad ear infection and has since had significant hair loss (the vet suspects alopecia and we are currently going through the process of trying to eliminate if it is anything else), seizures, and low thyroid so he is on meds for the rest of his life for that. Theo’s sire is supposedly Luck of the Draw and the dam was Coco Starlet. I bought him on June 12, 2011. I brought these issues up to Jacklin and she told me none of her pups have ever had alopecia. Obviously after reading these other reviews and speaking to a few other people who purchased from her, I know this is a lie. My friend Tania purchased a Pom from her too and she ended up with alopecia.
This has to stop. This is unethical breeding and Jacklin should apologize to everyone and just stop breeding instead of pretending there is no problem and continuing to charge a small fortune for each sick dog. It’s heartbreaking. She didn’t have a Unilocal page when I went to buy my dog. Hopefully other people can make better, more informed decisions because of our reviews. I love my dog and am so happy he is in my life but I wouldn’t wish these health issues on any owner.

We bought our Pom in 2009. We paid $ 1500 and was told there was no alopecia in their line. The first year our dog was fine then he started losing his hair. We paid lots of money at the vet ruling out every medical condition until we were told it’s Alopecia X, Black Skin Disease. I would be very weary about buying a Pom from this breeder.

I purchased my female Pomeranian from Jacklin a few years back. I felt the need to also write a review after reading Richard’s and CD’s comments. My 5 year old dog also lost her hair. It began to fall off when she was approx. 1 year old. I took her to the vet and she was diagnosed as having alopecia. Until today, I always thought the groomer had been at fault. Jacklin had me promise that I would not breed her due to a small heart murmur. I was aware of the murmur which is why I only paid $ 750 for her. I’ve always fed her Eukanuba and have never changed her diet. Within the last two months, by some miracle, her hair is growing back. The family is trying to figure out what has occurred that has caused the regrowth… we even blamed ourselves thinking we were stressing her, causing the hair loss, ha, ha, ha. I went on-​line to read the reviews as we had a friend looking to purchase a pom. I will no longer be recommending this breeder.

We bought a male pom from Jackie 3 ½ years ago. He started losing his hair around 8 months of age but was neutered by 5 months as suggested by Jackie.
We promised not to breed our pom. She claimed that he came from a champion line and I had to sign a waiver, agreeing never to breed or show our pom. We only wanted a family pet so neither one of those were a concern to us. Our pom first started losing his guard hairs at 8 months and then the undercoat has followed. We have spent thousands of dollars taking him to different Vets and trying various treatments including thyroid medicine for a year without any changes. The Vets have explained that he has a genetic hair loss called Alopecia X and it is commonly found in pom breeds. Responsible breeders should be familiar with the issue and when it comes to their attention that it is in their dog line, they should no longer breed that line. We made Jackie aware of the diagnosis and she completely denied that she had ever even heard of Alopecia X or that she had ever had it in her breeding. First of all, if you search on Google you will see that it is a common problem and being researched by various institutions… secondly, this is not the first dog that has ever had this issue from her breeding. When she denied any knowledge of such a genetic flaw and was not willing to do the responsible thing. It made me realize that we needed to share our experience with Bitsy Poms and Jackie s o that others can make a more informed purchase of a pet or show dog from a reliable breeder.

My boyfriend and I have been looking for a parti pom for some time. I’m pretty picky so I wanted to make sure her facial markings were asymmetrical so that I could call her Panda. After calling a bunch of breeders, I found Bitsypoms. Jacklin was super sweet and told us about a recent litter. She wasn’t available that week, but said her daughter could show us the one we were interested in. Once I saw Panda, I fell in love! We waited a few weeks and picked her up and had everything in order (shots and dog food for transition). We ended up keeping the dog food that they had because she seemed to like it and it was great for small breed dogs.
This was our first time purchasing our own puppy and Jacklin was extremely helpful and answered all our questions. She even emailed us photos of Panda’s mom and dad. Panda looks exactly like them :)
Panda is now 3 years old (going on 4 in August). She has a beautiful coat and an amazing tail that everyone always compliments us on. She is a very active and smart dog that even runs agility courses. We love Bitsypoms and highly recommend working with Jacklin. We are looking for another companion for Panda and will definitely go back!

We traveled from AZ to purchase two poms from this breeder for $ 1800 each. After about 8 months they both ended up with Alopecia (an inherited disease that results in hair loss). It is also called «‘Black skin disease, look it up. Jacklin denied that she had ever had this occur to any of the dogs in her bloodline. Before the alopecia became apparent, friends of our also traveled from AZ and purchased a puppy from Jacklin. Funny, he he also has alopecia. We have spent thousands of $$ on vets, special diets, and various «solutions» to no avail. We requested a refund both but Jacklin cried «poor mouth» and would only offer another puppy if we returned the two we had purchased. We love our dogs and would not consider her proposal. I am convinced that she knew we would not take her offer because of our love for the dogs and had become so attached to them. Today both dogs have wear «onesies» to protect them from the sun. How do you give a minus 5 star rating for unethical behavior?

this breeder is lucky i gave her 2 stars… we met in a target parking lot for me to purchase my pomeranian w. o health certificate or anything. i asked about AKC availability she said it’d be $ 300 more i texted her after like a moth or two n she said it’d be 1800?!! wth?! n told her she had previously said $ 300 …she straight out lied to me… i wanted the akc so i wouldn’t have to spay my girl pom but i guess that was a hit n miss. i love my dog regardless. im posting this just so people know and keep an eye out for her shes iffy… her excuse was «her dad cost me $ 3,000 + as a stud! uh «how is that my problem? anyway i found her in Craigslist so watch out if you want an akc from her «she supposedly works for animal control. shell come off as nice which i thought she was n completely turned on me.
