Exclusively Endodontics

I have mixed emotions about this office. My general dentist recommended it due to a root canal procedure he could not perform. I met with Dr. Meadvin who was thorough in his explanation of the problem and procedure. His «bedside manner» however, was terrible. I expressed my fear and anxiety about dental procedures and instead of reassuring me, he told me he wouldn’t baby me and either I get it done or don’t. I did have it done and had to return a year later with complications. I saw Dr. Meadvin again, but he recommended I see another specialist in the same office, Dr. Bachstein, who is the absolute opposite of Dr. Meadvin. He was so nice and compassionate! He probably could have pulled all of my teeth out and I wouldn’t have minded!

Dr. Meadvin is the worst dentist who has ever treated me. He was referred by my general dentist — BIG MISTAKE! He did two root canals, and I went back because of extreme pain. Instead of retreating the one tooth, he ground it down. He told me there was nothing wrong with either of them and complained the whole time. After changing dentists, x-​rays revealed that he never properly treated either of the teeth by going all the way to the bottom of the root. I now need to have one of the teeth extracted and replaced with an implant, and the other one needs to be retreated properly in the hopes of saving it. Dr. Meadvin’s shoddy work has caused me extreme pain and will cost thousands of dollars to remedy. Stay away from him! He should lose his license to practice!
