It took us forever to find this restaurant. But it has the best food it is so clean and non a lot of MSG. From there soup to their appetizers to their meals. Great portions and service.

Cindy moved back to China last year and the taste went with her. We have been a 2 – 3 times a month customer for years

I ordered at 5:51PM via seamless. I waited patiently for over an hour and called the restaurant. First they said they didn’t see the order and then they said the delivery guy was on its way. I felt like they were lying as the restaurant is a 7 minute drive from my house. I called seamlessweb, told them to cancel my order and they called the restaurant. Seamless told me not to accept the order or else they would charge me and they gave me a coupon for my troubles. At 7:12PM, they delivery guy arrives and I told him I canceled the order. He kept saying the food was hot over and over again. I told him I wasn’t going to pay for it. I ordered the food at 5:51PM. Moral of the story: order from Hing Far, always. What was I thinking?

Great food when time is of the essence and always great service! We’ve never had a bad meal and when we decided to walk in and order our food to go, they brought us hot tea!

Please, please, please try Cindy’s… They are top notch for Chinese! Under new management as of June ’15, these guys do an awesome job cooking. We always get the roast pork fried rice, hot & sour soup, and vegetable lo mein – alternating between General Tso’s, chicken with broccoli, and most recently, either shrimp or beef chow fun. The beef chow fun is almost similar to my favorite(Gan Chao Niu He /乾炒牛河), which I frequently ate back in SoCal, except with less veggies. Their chicken is really tasty, and most of their dishes are not cooked with a copious amount of oil, unlike other Chinese restaurants. Also, friendly service is always a plus!

Appalling. Their delivery driver defecated in a hallway stairwell in my building. It was disgusting. If this is how a representative of this establishment acts while on a delivery, it’s not hard to imagine what is happening in the kitchen. When confronted with video evidence, the management denied such a person worked there. After police intervention, they eventually admitted the animal worked for them. Any business who would support a delivery driver that acts in such a vile manner, does not deserve my money.

Not too impressed by this chinese place. Got it delivered and took 45 minutes, which I live 5 minutes away. Food tasted like it was old, maybe because we ordered around 9pm. May try this place again, not sure.

Don’t worry, Cindy’s — we won’t be coming back. On a chilly night in January, we agreed that Chinese cuisine sounded appetizing. We picked Cindy’s based solely on the strong Unilocal reviews. It had been several years since we visited this restaurant and thought it sounded like a good choice. It wasn’t. From the moment we walked into the completely empty restaurant, we were treated as though our presence was a bother to the sole employee who worked in the dining room. She seemed vexed that we were going to «eat in.» She silently, begrudgingly brought menus to the table and rapidly disappeared into the kitchen. When she returned, she had brought water and a pot of hot tea to the table. She tersely asked, «You ready?» We placed our entrée orders and the employee picked up our menus and walked off, again without a word. After a moment, she appeared with our soup course, all the while keeping her vow of silence. Then she brought forth our entrees. Wait! She spoke! She asked if we wanted mustard and duck sauce after she brought the entrees. Wrong answer, I guess: I said«Yes» and got a grimace in return. After a short delay, she walked forward with 2 small bowls of these sauces.(If you didn’t want to bring them, why did you bother asking?!) Perhaps our appearance at the restaurant was a true disruption of her plans to watch international television programming as she was making appetizers with her unwashed, ungloved hands at a nearby table. Yes, this did happen after our entrees came out. As you might imagine, she never came over to ask if we needed anything or how the food was. But she did prepare the check and drop it off halfway through our entrees. And then she went right back to making appetizers at the table near us. Thank goodness she wasn’t troubled by any other customers wanting to eat in! The food was less-than-average at best. The wontons in the soup were hard and doughy. The pork inside them was cooked to death. My lo mein was greasy. The egg roll was very bland and I needed those sauces if only to conceal its mediocrity. If you enjoy so-so Chinese food and being made to feel unwelcome and subject to unfriendly service, I strongly advise you visit this restaurant. Your inner masochist will thank you.

Got delivery one night for last minute dinner after the oven failed me. Since this was the only Chinese place that delivered, we gave it a shot. We were pleasantly surprised! The portions are similar to what you’d get for Chinese takeout and the prices are about the same. The delivery for it being almost 8pm was quite long… 40 minutes?! Everything we ordered was flavorful though the chicken with the chicken and broccoli was chewy? We ate it anyway since the sauce was good. May consider another dish without chicken if we order again. Or maybe it was a one time fluke.

Excellent food, take out orders can be done digitally online. I recommend online because the lady taking orders isn’t very nice. Delivery man seemed very kind. Food was hot and fresh on delivery.

Very impress with their food. Not normally an american chinese take out kind of guy. But the food and the service are both excellent. Thumbs up

Very good old school Chinese American comfort food. Reminds me of the dishes my family used to enjoy at Joy Fong on Avenue J in Brooklyn. Nothing a gourmet or foodie would die for, but spot on won ton soup, egg rolls, ribs, etc. Definitely eat in.

looking for consistency and pallet pleasing asian cuisine then, Cindy’s is the restaurant to visit! They even have delivery for convenience but this just isn’t your ordinary takeout joint. They make to order and very accommodating when you want to place a special order. My husband’s favorite is the vegetable soup, filled with broccoli and pea pods mushrooms and carrots. The crab rangoon is a personal go to appetizer item. Every time we order the order is correct and the food is hot and fresh. I highly recommend this little asian place of goodness!!!

Small place but very yummy steamed dishes. We all ordered steamed chicken or veggie dishes and really enjoyed our meals. The brown sauce that comes with it is delish! We will be back when in the area.

This place is close to where I work so I gave it a try. The food is really good. I got the Mai Fun and the Lo Mein and both were made with real, white meat chicken. The dishes were light and flavorful. The restaurant itself is very small, but clean. The staff is nice enough too. I’ve had a few dishes from here and plan on returning whenever I’m craving Chinese at work again!

We had our reservations about going to Cindy’s. Mostly because it said Chinese/Japanese Cuisine. I’m not so much of a fan of places that mix cuisine. However, one rainy night, we were craving Chinese so off we went to Cindy’s. The food was surprisingly tasty. We couldn’t believe it. The services was meh, but the food made up for it. I had the Steamed Chicken and Steamed Veggies. My husband had General Tsao’s Chicken. We both started with soup — Egg Drop and Wonton. Both were super tasty and the wonton’s were definitely homemade. The broth was flavorful and light. My Steamed Chicken was served with a lo calorie sauce that was quite appealing to the taste bud’s. My husband’s meal was tasty too — it didn’t leave that greasy CHinese food feeling in your mouth afterward. The restaurant itself is quite clean, but small. Be prepared for a wait on the weekend. We’ll definitely be back!

I got takeout(delivered, actually) when I needed a quick lunch one day at my firm’s Cherry Hill office. It was really very good. Cindy’s is located in a nearby strip mall, They have«the usual» Chinese food and a few Japanese selections as well. I would definitely order again. I never got a chance to dine-in so I can’t speak to the décor or service.

This tiny restaurant is located in a corner of a very small strip-mall. The only reason I tried it was that they appeared to be doing a brisk take-out business in my area, which I took that as a reccomendadtion; it wasn’t a bad guess. The room is indeed«tiny,» seating perhaps twenty people, but it”s bright, cheerful and very neat, with white-washed walls decorated by colorful prints of pandas. The tables are light-hued wood, enhancing the impression of tidiness. The only demerit I give the room is that they left the kitchen door open. .. never a plus, but quite bothersome for a room of this size. The food was not exceptional, but quite good. I had the Mongolian Chicken, nice and spicy. My son ordered the Sweet & Sour Shrimp, which was delightful. We both started with Hot & Sour Soup and Egg-Roll. Both dishes were pleasing. The prices were very modest, about $ 12 per person; overall, I rate this as a nice neighborhood place.
