My review is regarding the mother’s room. Whenever my husband and I go shopping around the area, we always plan on stopping here so I can nurse my daughter. The room has been updated to include two very comfortable armchairs with ottomans and two changing tables. It’s always very relaxing and comfortable in there.

The worse customer service experience ever. They were fine taking my money. They get my online screwed up and ship the wrong thing. Store blames online and online blames the store(I don’t fault the store as much as it was online fault) but never once was I offered a resolution. I was told«order it again» seriously? I was registered here. Not anymore

In light of the other reviews, I had a surprisingly very pleasant shopping experience setting up a registry at the Babies R Us. On a pre-holiday Saturday morning, I went in fearing a crowded mob scene. While the store remained pretty full during the(exhausting 5-hour) time that I was there, it never felt chaotic. A representative at the registry desk got my husband and I set up with an account, gave us a useful packet of what to include on a registry, and sent us on our way with the«I want it» scanner. The store was easy to shop, with good organization and wide aisles. There were hardly any items out of stock, and it was easy to track down employees to answer our questions in all of the various sections. I did think it was a little odd that so many of the associates were young men who did not have children. I hate to sounds discriminatory, but they were genuinely(and admittedly) not that good at providing child product advice. The registry experience went smoothly, and an associate even called me a few days later to make sure I had everything in place and ask if I had any questions. I will pretty happily go back to this location fr my upcoming baby-related needs.

Babies R Us almost has a monopoly in the baby gift registry world. It seems like everyone registers here for baby showers just because they have a bunch of stores and a lot of baby products. I’ve been at this location many times in the last 2 years and I am never impressed. No one offers you help when you are fumbling through the store trying to find a gift on the registry. The store is not laid out well and they never seem to have half the items that are on the baby registries. The prices also can vary from what is posted online. I’ve found that there could be a sale on an item online but then it isn’t on sale in the store. Some of their items are way overpriced especially the baby formulas, baby food and diapers. And the furniture does not seem to be very high in quality to match the prices that they charge. When I have a baby, I am going to do whatever it takes not to register here, even if it means registering at 2 or 3 other stores.

This is for the BRU located across from the cherry hill mall. Employees here are unfriendly and bitter. If you ask a question they almost seem annoyed by it. What kind of customer service is that? Also, I hate that their online prices are different than in store. Makes shopping a bit difficult and complicated if I’m look to go price shopping for things. I registered for a few things here but after my experience with them, I didn’t even bother telling people that I had one at BRU. I’d rather much send people to other companies that deserves the business and treats their customers a bit better. Oh and to add on top of that, the completion coupon code did not even work when I tried to use it.

The store is really not laid out very well, and the shelves are often messy, but they do run a lot of good sales so there’s that… It can be hard to find someone if you need help, and the staff that I have encountered often just seem sad. And every time I’m in the restroom I overhear employees bitching to each other about some other coworker. When you start a registry and come into the store they give you a goodie bag of samples and coupons, and a «helpful» list of recommended things to register for that’s hundreds of items long. They also sign you up for a rewards account, which sounds like a great deal because any time someone buys something for your from your registry you get points that you can spend in the store. Until you find out that they expire, and that there’s a blackout period of 3 months when you can’t accrue points that encompasses the date of your shower. Lame. Needless to say, you’re not coming to a big box store for the ambiance, you come for the availability of products and the prices, so adjust expectations appropriately. PS They’re very sneaky about making sure you can’t benefit too much from their sales and coupons. If you get rewards coupons from them they expire quickly and have lots of restrictions on them. «Free» online shipping really means $ 20 off. You don’t get your 10% registry completion coupon until 2 weeks before the due date. Just be wary of their discounts and deals.

Babies R Us is a great place and they have an excellent selection. It’s nice to be able to check out items like car seats and strollers in the store before buying. If you are expecting then you need to register here.
