This salon has closed I wasn’t so upset the salon shut down but I loved how Allegra did my hair, I’m happy to report I found her she is now at Anthony j hair studio in sicklerville 8562627960. Its a tad farther for me to go since I live in cherry hill but she is worth the drive. Check my review for them after my next haircut in a few weeks. First haircut is 10 off the normal 45.00 price. I hope this helps someone find Allegra.

My hair!!! So I have curly hair and I only trusted one person but unfortunately she left this salon. I was in need of a cut and asked the manager«is there anyone who’s comfortable cutting curly hair? She said yes and recommended Kristen because she does such a good job. I went in confident that my hair would be like the 1st photo. Instead it wasn’t. I have shoulder length hair and when she said chin length, she cut it up to my ear love. Chin length to me is the tip of my chin not the back. So she never clarified that and so I’m stuck with this stupid cut for 3 months. My hair grow very slow so this was very disappointing. I told her that I didn’t like it so I guess she charged me $ 22 instead of $ 45. But if I originally wanted my hair like this, I would’ve had my boyfriend cut it for me and he wouldn’t have charged me a thing. I don’t think I’d ever go back for a longggg time.

I purchased a groupon for a cut, highlights, and style. It was like pulling teeth trying to setup an appointment. The reception desk answers the phone, makes appointments, and checks people out. It took over 10 minutes for the woman to make me an appointment changing both stylist and times three times(are you OK with so and so at 2 oh no wait that won’t work) before she found an appointment that worked on the day I requested. The cut was fine and so was the blow dry, nothing spectacular. The highlights look great however there is a huge section of hair at the back of my head underneath some hair that were not highlighted at all. It was supposed to be a full highlight. Needless to say that’s pretty disappointing. I look like a skunk when I pull up my hair in a ponytail. Not great. if I had paid full price I would be livid… i also had to wait for 10 minutes while the receptionists was answering the phones and trying to find appointments. .guessing it was the same girl when I was making my appointment. It was so ridiculous that another stylist came over and checked me out. Pretty poor service. Won’t be back.

I’ve been coming here every 8 weeks for the past two years or so. I’ve only ever seen Alex for my hair, so I might be reviewing him more than the salon itself. Alex is AWESOME. He always does a fantastic job with my color, and not only does he give me the best haircuts of my life, but he routinely blows out my hair even though it takes an inordinate amount of time. I have thick, wavy/curly hair, so most stylists don’t know what to do with it and/or cut it in a way that does not work. And I’ve never had a stylist blow it out without complaining. Alex seems to love what he does and takes pride in his work, and it shows. He doesn’t talk too much but is conversational, and he’s never rude. He also basically gives head massages with the shampooing, so that’s a plus! I have experienced a little rudeness from some of the front desk people, but no worse than anywhere else I’ve been. I’ve gotten decent eyebrow and bikini waxes from various staff members. But really I go for Alex.

Still on my quest to find a hair salon I can be a regular at, I purchased a groupon for a cut blow dry and style for b2 salon. I called and made my appointment and was all set to go at 9am. I wake up on the day of my appointment and at 8:30 I get a call asking me to reschedule. Fine, I have the day off, but changing my 9 am appointment to a 12 appointment is pretty frustrating. What really turned this visit around was Krista my stylist. She did a great job on my hair and was very friendly. She explained everything that she was doing and I thought it was a great cut. She clearly knows what styles flatter what faces and did a great job cutting my hair. If b2 could fix some managerial issues(see Krista having to stop my haircut at least 4 times to answer the phone and my rescheduled appointment) I think it would be a great place. I will definitely be coming back to try again though.

I went here because I had a voucher for haircut, style, blowdry and full highlights. My stylist was Krista. She wasn’t very personable, didn’t really talk at all while she was doing my hair, and was very rough when pushing my head down or moving it where she wanted it, and the shampoo process(which is supposed to be relaxing!) was almost painful to endure, pulling hair and water splashing in my face… Aside from all that, though, she actually really did a great job on my hair and I love my haircut and highlights. Not sure I’d pay full price here but from what I’ve seen you can always find coupons for it, and they gave me a «matched price» coupon so I could come back and pay the voucher price again. I’d come back again, despite the rough treatment. :)

I have no clue how my first review«disappeared» after I wrote it the first time, but this one better not again. Im not writing it a 3rd time. I went in with a groupon for cut, blowdry and full highlights. I went in wanting ombré, Kkhloe Kardashian style. I was promptly told what I «should» get instead, so it didnt look so bad(like the pic I showed to him). What am I going to say? No? Do this instead? It was clear we were going in HIS direction, not MINE. It took him 4 – 5 hours on clearly having NO clue how to do ombré, and his counterpart picking up the slack, telling him how to do it, giving him tips, and I ended up with highlights underneath my head that no one could see that were blonde. And I have black hair. From the front, it didnt even look like ANYTHING was done. So what did I do? I gave him his overpriced tip and left and came home to write on this very board to WARNPEOPLENOTTOCOMEHERE. BUYERSBEWARE. Haircut, good yes, just dont get your hair colored here. And dont ever pay full retail price.

i never really write reviews but i told all of my friends about this and i figured i would write a nice review. i had my high lights and a trim. my high lights were amazing and they took the time to consult how i wanted my hair to be blown out! all in all, i would recommend this to anyone. i read some reviews on here about groupon people and all, i feel if you didn’t pay full price than you shouldn’t complain. Everyone works for there money, and coupon people are usually cheap people. Don’t pay for a 25% of the service and expect 100% value. Thats why America is going down the drain.

B2 is from the same beauty gurus of Bernards but is designed to be a cheaper, no-frills experience. As a result B2 by Bernards has the basics-haircutting, coloring, waxing, and styling but that’s it. No massages. No manicures. Very clean, modern design but more similar to a Hair Cuttery than a spa. There’s no ambiance here. I had a groupon for highlights and a haircut. I would say that my stylist did a good, efficient job-not the best highlights in the world but still good. For $ 55, I can’t complain. Word of advice: I wouldn’t pay full price here. Literally everyday there’s a Groupon, Living Social deal, or coupon from Coupon Clipper for them. Look for one of them and save some money.

I was part of a bridal party that used this salon for hair and makeup. Now that we’ve set the scene, let’s review the score, shall we? The Pros: The stylist who did my hair did a phenomenal job considering she was given this guidance: «I like vintage-y finger-y curl updos. Does that help?» Yes, I know I’m a super helpful client. Well, all that direction being given, my stylist did an amazing job. She took her time, used tons of hairspray and pins since it was approximately a bazillion degrees outside and the wedding was 6+ hrs away. She was chatty, friendly, but not overly pushy for conversation which was a major plus in my book. 2nd pro: I liked that it was just our party in the salon. We had free reign(which included sneaking into the back for more orange juice adult beverages) and everyone was pretty well attended to. The cons: I was not super thrilled with the makeup artist. She was a little less than thrilled that I had asked to be added to the makeup appointments and even less thrilled when I pulled up pictures of the makeup style I wanted(again vintage-y pin up-y things). I also have pretty sensitive eyes and when she was lining them she poked me a few times which elicited some tears on my end and then she looked at me like I had just murdered a baby with a club made of baby seals. Sorry lady, sometimes when I get poked in the eye it causes tears! Overall, B2 comes out even/neutral in my book. I’m not wont to switch salons but if another bridal party was looking for a salon for hair appointments I would send them to B2. Price wise and hair stylist selection would earn this place 4 stars. The less than pleasant makeup artist demotes it to 3, but overall still not too shabby.
