Do Not Rent For A Wedding!!! I rented two limos for my wedding on 6÷19÷15. The limo was supposed to pick me up at 3:30. At 3:45 I had a friend call to see where they were. Supposedly my limo had broke down and a new one was on the way. The limo finally came an hour late to East Boston and we still had to get to Nahant. The limo issue really stressed me out on my wedding day and I lost $ 225 with my photographer because I wasnt there to take pictures. I had never rented a limo before and this was definitely a bad experience!!!

By far some of the worst customer service you could ever receive at any given location. If you have time to spare and are willing to waste it this is the location for you. Stopped by about a month ago for tuxedo measurements for my nephews prom. Complete waste of time as none of the measurements were correct and when we came back had to go to the process all over again only to find out we had to go through a bunch of alterations – 2 hours later. Please make sure to check the rented clothing prior to leaving as some buttons were missing, the latches for sizing on the suspenders were in horrible shape with pieces of the material picked throughout, shirt sleeves were too long and jacket too slim. Called and spoke with manager who was really not willing to hear what the customer had to say about their experience, acted as if he was doing you a favor, and at the end offered a slight discount on the next rental. Realistically speaking who would go back to a place like this a third time around. I asked for money back and exchange them and was pretty much ignored. When I informed him that I would blog about my experience he refused to give me his name and hung up on me. Will never go back there. Good luck to anyone who does. –an unsatisfied customer.

My fiancé and I came to Russo’s this past Sunday to rent some tuxedos for the groomsmen in our wedding party. After trying Men’s Wearhouse and Keezer’s, we were trying to find a happy medium between the two in terms of quality and cost. Men’s Wearhouse was upselling us on everything and didn’t have any tuxedos that were available to try on. They were also trying to sell us on some of the more expensive Vera Wang tuxedos with package prices ranging at around $ 200. Meanwhile, Keezer’s was great for single tuxedo rentals(only $ 50!), but as they couldn’t guarantee that all six of the groomsmen would be wearing the same exact tuxedo, we decided to try Russo’s. Russo’s was great to work with. Our consultant was professional and friendly and the whole process did not take a very long time at all. Most of our groomsmen are from out-of-town but Russo’s said we could just submit their suit sizes and some of their basic measurements and that would all that would be required to rent the tuxedo. In all, we ended up paying less than $ 100/tuxedo and we feel good that we are getting a great deal. Also, all their inventory is housed in-store, so they can easily swap in and swap out tuxedos if something doesn’t fit. Hopefully Russo’s delivers to its promise at our wedding in August but for now, we feel confident in choosing Russo’s!

Our experience was two fold. First, we had reserved the Hummer and a Rolls Royce sight unseen for our daughter’s October wedding through Maria the previous winter. We put down a non refundable $ 400. deposit. On a whim my husband and I a month later said let’s go and look at the vehicles. I called Maria and she said to come to see them. When we arrived on a bitter cold day the woman in the tux shop had no idea we were coming and though she tried to be accommodating this was not her thing. She took us out to the garage but she had know idea where the lights were so she opened the car doors. She tried to call a person who did show up 20 min. later, I think it was Maria’s husband. He proceeded to tell us that the Rolls Royce was in the repair shop and was not going to be available to be viewed for some time. The garage is very tight and you can barely open the doors to the limos. But we finally did get into the hummer, I don’t know if it just had not been cleaned or what but the smell of alcohol was so strong. Bottomline, my husband and I drove away saying this would be to nerve wracking not be able to have total confidence in your wedding transportation. I called and cancelled our reservation. The second part of our experience with Russo’s was wonderful. I called to see if we could book an 8 passenger limo for a family dinner in Boston during the Xmas holidays using our $ 400 deposit from the wedding and they were extremely accommodating. Mike called to reconfirm our time and Joe our driver was excellent. We left our home early and had extra time before our dinner reservation so Joe offered to take us around the city showing us the beautiful light displays. He waited for us and returned us safely home. It was such a wonderful experience. This limo was clean and well kept. What I glean from my double experience is that Russos is a small company with only about 4 – 6 limos. of various sizes and ages. They are trying to move into the wedding area, but still are a bit rusty. Sometimes the service is wonderful, but sometimes it falls short. On your wedding day you want it perfect. On other occasions I would be willing to take the risk, but not on my wedding.

If i could give Russo’s Limo 0 stars, I would. They are a terrible and unprofessional limo company. We hired them for our wedding in May, 2014. The limo was suppose to pick me up and drive me to the church at 2:45, and at 3:05 I had to call them to see where they were. The limo had broken down, and the driver didn’t think it was necessary to contact the shop and let them know. When I called the shop they were scrambling becauase they had no idea what had happened. I spoke with Maria, who is the wedding coordinator there. She actually had me hold for even longer, and called me back after 10 minutes to tell me the limo, and no other limo would be coming to pick me up. Maria doesn’t have a direct dial, so I had to call the main line and wait 5 minutes for someone to physically go and find Maria and give her the phone. My father had to drive me and him to the church, since the limo never showed up. We had paid $ 600 for a rolls royce. I showed up for my wedding stressed out, pissed off, and otherwise not happy. Russo’s did send a limo to the church to drive us from there to the reception. Although we did appreciate the gesture, Russo’e sent an 8 passenger limo circa 1997. Which was not what we paid for. They refunded us the $ 600, but the church retained our $ 200 late fee. We tried explaining to Maria that Russo’s was responsible for the $ 200 and they need to refund us that money as well. Not only was Maria incredible rude and unhelpful, but told us she won’t be refunding the money because she didn’t think the church should have charged for it. I have no idea why this person is in the wedding industry. She was the most unprofessional person we came across during the entire wedding process, and it was Russo’s fault everything got messed up. They deprived us of pictures we can never get back, they caused us to be 40 minutes late to the ceremomy, and on top of the cost us $ 200. We are currently in the process of reporting them to the Better Business Bureau, and filing with the small claims court of MA. This isn’t as much about the money, as it’s about providing a service to people, and when that service FAILS, they need to compensate for their mistakes. Brides! Please don’t use Russo’s! They failed horribly in their limo delivery, they failed when they tried to pass of an old limo as a Rolls Royce replacement, they failed with their customer service, and they failed with their«wedding coordinator» Maria.

So, Valerie and Eric are getting married, but not until May 2011. Valerie and her friends had gone to the Fenway Bridal show, where they entered into all kids of amazing raffles, had a ton of fun, and had a great time! Valerie came home very excited, telling Eric that she had FINALLY found a tux shop that rented suits, not just tuxes. Eric did a bit of research, finding that not only does Russo’s rent formalwear, but that they also cover transportation, which the couple was also interested in booking. The only better part of this was that a couple of days later, Valerie got a call explaining that she had won a FREETUXEDORENTAL! A few weeks later, Eric called Russo’s Tux and spoke to the same gentleman that Valerie had met at Fenway, explaining to the employee that he did not plan on wearing a tux in his own wedding, but would love to take advantage of the free rental for a friend’s wedding that was just before Thanksgiving, and that when he came in to get measured, he would love to check out some of their suit offerings. The employee said that Eric would be able to take advantage of the free rental just the same, as it had been won in a raffle. Eric called Russo’s to let them know he would be in on Friday, and they said that would be great! Excited, Eric and Val drove over the Tobin Bridge, sitting in traffic for almost a half an hour to get to Russo’s. All in all, the location isn’t bad, although the«parking lot»(set your parking brake, or end up on the Revere Beach Parkway) was a bit awkward. Entering the shop, the displays are quite impressive, quickly drawing attention to the impressive array of tuxedos and suits throughout the store. Eric immediately walked up to the front desk and introduced himself, explaining that Valerie was one of the winners of the free tuxedo rental raffle at Fenway and had called earlier in the week about taking advantage of the offer. This statement was met with a blank stare from the woman behind the counter, followed by two men coming out of the back room, one of whom told Eric to have a look around and pick out something he liked. Well, it seems as if this offer to browse the store was more a means of getting the couple out of the employees’ hair. A few minutes after the introduction, the employees had conferred and one of the men approached us, asking when the event was and what he was interested in. Eric again explained that he was in need of a tux rental for a formal event just before Thanksgiving, to which the employee responded, «Well…the free tux rental is for your wedding party, not just for you to take advantage of.» Eric responded by asking about the raffle, and Valerie having been selected as a «winner» of a free tux rental. The employee explained that there was in fact no raffle, and it seems that all of the«raffle slips» were actually just a means of collecting information, and that the«raffle» was no more than any other men’s clothing stores’ offer of a free tux for the groom in a wedding party. After explaining their frustration, Valerie and Eric were left empty handed, with no intentions whatsoever of using Russo’s tux for any aspect of their wedding, or any other formalwear rentals. In short: Wonderful selection, nice that they do transportation, but we feel swindled and will not return!

Russo’s is great. I needed to rent a suit for an out-of-town wedding I was in. I was flying and needed the keep the suit for a week. There was not extra charge for the extra couple of days! I had to make 3 visits: get measured, pick-up, and drop-off. Every visit, I was in and out in less than 10 minutes. Everything was smooth, they jacket fit, and they lengthened the sleeves about an inch while I waited. The price was very reasonable; I only need the jacket and pants and they only charged $ 90. I highly recommend this shop.

A pretty well stocked tux shop, they also provide limos & great service! The guy I worked with was extremely helpful, friendly, and he took a picture of my dress and coordinated a good looking tux to match. The wait time to pick up the tux is about 6 days and any necessary alterations will be done on the spot. Overall, a pretty good place to pick up a tux for a prom or a wedding. And there’s a signed picture of Michael Douglas on the wall!
