Dropped the teenagers off for some fun time. Quick plastering fun and not too expensive. Good selection of plaster to paint as well. It’s nice to get them away from electronics for a few hours

we went for our first time recently, when we went in we and another family came to the counter and stood for an a long time before an employee came to greet us, there was apparently a party going on in the back, i specifically told her it was our first time but she didnt explaion the process at all, only told us u pick out a figurine and pay we picked one out and brought it to the desk to pay and she handed us something wich we found out later was the primer, the paints were on the side so we found those easily, but another family had to tell us were to get water and cups which were at the back and not visible because of the party, we sat in front and even when they were back at the counter anytime someone aproached the employees took forever to help the customers who came to the desk. we figured out by watching other customers that you take your painted product to the desk at the end to get a finish applied, none of this was explained. when i asked the employees if i had to wait for my product to dry before we got it finished she rolled her eyes and sighed befotre answering rudely, and they claim they take pictures and post all finished products on their website but this also didnt happen, not friendly or cheerful place at all. we will be back only because my child really did enjoy painting her project

You can pick out a piece of plaster in the shape of a princess, a frog, a teddy bear or garden gnomes, etc. You paint some prime on them, wait a couple minutes and then paint them using the many shades of paint they have available. When you’re done, you bring it up to the desk and they spray a finish on it and you can take it home. This isn’t clay. You don’t get to sit at a wheel and create your own piece of art. It’s plaster that you pick off a shelf that’s already shaped in some factory somewhere. They have lots of kid things, but I’ve seen adults there painting home décor type things. Be careful — the paint is permanent, won’t wash out, so wear old clothes. The cheapest, smallest pieces are $ 9 and it goes up from there in size and price. It’s a small store and they tried to cram one too many tables in there, making it seem even smaller. They have birthday parties for kids, but I’ve heard that the room in the back where they have them is really tiny.
