We moved into Chelmsford, MA about 5 years ago just up the road and Kate’s Corner soon became our go to place when we needed just about anything. My daughter calls it the ice cream shop because she often goes there for a ice cream after spending the day riding on the nearby trail. My husband calls it his coffee and lottery shop, he’s there every morning. I get just about anything I need there, bread, milk, stamps etc. Supporting a local small business like this is very important, especially when the people are so nice.

Kate’s Corner is a family owned business. It is a cute throw back store from the 60’s. The folks who work there are very friendly. I go there for a lunch subs, chips and a coke, close to my work. Good selections of soup, subs and sandwiches. I would rather support a family owned business than your typical fast food chains at lunch time. Kate’s sells all your typical daily foods items bread, milk etc… They also sell Mass lottery tickets and postage stamps. Stop by Kate’s Corner sometime buy a sub and coke… maybe they will sell«you» the next million dollar lottery ticket?

It’s pretty residential and rural between Rt. 110 in Westford and Great Brook State Park in Carlisle. After a quick lunchtime loop on some novice mountain bike trails in the park, sometimes I stop at Kate’s Corner. This multipurpose shop has my convenience store staples such as snacks, drinks and lotto. A sandwich counter in the back serves up quick subs and wraps. For a little local flavor, they sell their own branded Kate’s Corner Root Beer and Kate’s Corner Raspberry Lime Rickey. If you need to rent a private mail box, it looks like they offer this service as well. I have no use for it, but hey, you might. Kate’s Corner is a one-stop oasis on the way back to civilization.
