My wife and I had an excellent lunch here on a Saturday at the end of May. Great food, excellent service, chill atmosphere, couldn’t have asked for more. It is also worth mentioning we are food snobs so we are quite picky when it comes to where we spend our money on food out.

Cute little restaurant that serves delicious food! We ordered the Greek gyro, which was 5 stars, the tuna melt and a Caesar salad topped with salmon, ingredients were fresh and the presentation was very nice! Overall, great experience, my kids LOVED the tuna melt and I myself really enjoyed the gyro. Thanks for lunch, Fox and Quail Café!!!

I have eaten here twice and had the same sandwich(The Greek) both times because I really enjoyed the flavor of the meat and all the fresh veggies. It was a nice day so I sat outside and took in some sun. Menu has some great options and if I wouldn’t had been driving I would have indulged in a cocktail as the drink menu was very creative. I tried the sage chips and they were not what I expected but so yummy! I was expecting potato chips flavored with sage. There were actual green sage leaves, flash fried(I think) and seasoned. Melt in your mouth and I think they were much healthier than potatoes! I would come here again.

Probably the best restaurant in Chelan. Great old house converted into a very nice restaurant. Small and cozy… excellent!

The food was actually quite good, but the restaurant’s refusal to accept our valid gift card left a very bad taste. Our server claimed that as the«new owners» they don’t have to accept gift cards because they«closed out the books» when they bought the restaurant last fall. Of course(1) gift cards in Washington are not supposed to expire,(2) the restaurant name, location, etc., are exactly the same,(3) there isn’t a sign than says«new management,» and(4) there aren’t any indications that your gift card won’t be accepted(e.g., a note on the menu or a sign). So while the food was good, we had to buy a lunch that was already paid for. I have no idea if this is legal under Washington’s gift card law, or whether the new owners perhaps bought the assets out of bankruptcy(and the debts were discharged). But as a customer, it’s a horrible practice and we will not be back.

OMG!!! I will be back to Lake Chelan just so we can eat here again! Salmon Louie was incredible with a filet that just melted in your mouth, a homemade louie dressing with a hint of tartness and pickled green tomatoes and extremely fresh greens. The beef brisket was exceptional and surprising as I went to cut it with my knife and instead it flaked off with my fork. Served with a parmesan polenta like my grandma used to make. Delectable!!! Can’t wait to come back!

Outstanding food and service! This restaurant has a very homey feel and comfortable atmosphere. I ordered the margarita made with carrot juice and some other natural ingredients and it was a generous serving and very tasty! I also had the Greek sandwich, basically a gyro. It was very good. The bread was soft and the meat was seasoned perfectly. I loved my food and will definitely visit again!

Seth greets you with a smile, the food greets you with a «MOREPLEASE!» Great atmosphere, seating inside and out. Food. REALFOOD! We roll with appetizers, so that’s all we’ve had here. And 5 stars for sure! The mini peppers are my fave, however, the tuba cups and beet hummus are amazing! Everything they make is outstanding. This is the ONLY place I will eat at in Chelan, other wise, I’m cooking at the condo. Thank you for knowing culinary art. PS! NEW owners!

The Turkey Pear & Blue is one of the best paninis I’ve ever had. Make sure to add a side of ‘Mom’s’ pasta! The spicy agave pablano ribs are definitely an interesting appetizer worth trying too! Highly recommend this place… will be back again.

Cute place, you walk through a front yard patio area initially, and once inside the house there’s seating & a little patio off to the side. Was told to have a seat & the menu would arrive. After a few minutes I wondered if he forgot about me, but the menu did eventually make its way to my table. The Green Machine w a side Caesar salad arrived, and it was, ‘…OK…’ There were many other offerings on the menu, but as far as vegetarian offerings, I took what I could. I had a cinnamon roll & coffee for dessert, and the coffee was decent, as was the cinnamon roll. The drawback here was that it seemed that the cinnamon roll had just been microwaved… It was just a bit too hot, and as you got to the other side, the pastry was getting stiff. The waxed mustache server was a pleasant fellow, maybe lacked a bit of speed, but very kind when he was around.

Arguably the best new restaurant in Chelan. The Fox and Quail Café came highly recommended from our bed & breakfast owners. They said much of the menu is made from scratch and it’s a few of their guests’ first stop when they get into town. FQC is an excellent stop for a casual lunch, a relaxing dinner, and a great happy hour. Great places to sit inside and out, you can see the character and love throughout the little eatery. I stopped by twice in 24 hours! The first trip I tried the Green Machine panini with a side of the melon salad. The sandwich was tasty and fresh with lots of spinach. It could’ve used a little more avocado, though. Do yourself a favor and get the melon salad. It’s amazing. No, seriously. Honeydew + watermelon drizzled with a balsamic vinegar reduction and garnished with goat cheese and basil. Simple but extremely flavorful and delicious. The second trip I got the Hot Wings panini. Homemade buffalo sauce and sourdough bread really made this sandwich pop. The chopped celery and carrot was a nice addition. And, of course, I got the side of melon salad. :9 I never had a chance to go for happy hour and I wish I did. The menu showed a very reasonably priced selection of hand-made finger foods(between $ 1 and $ 7) and beverages. Seems like a brave move considering how thin restaurant profit margins are and how competitive the dining industry is in Chelan. Support this awesome new restaurant, great staff, and quality food – give The Fox & Quail Café a try!

Converted house turned café. Ryan w the moostache was attentive. Nice alcoholic beverage selection and cocktails. Quail and Hawaiian paninis were tasty. Guy working with the goatee has a constant concerned look about him but good service. Also nice outdoor dining area.

Ok wow! This place is AMAZING! I went on a quiet weekday and had the gyro with a garden salad with blueberry dressing… which is something I’ll crave for awhile. So fresh. Not greasy. So flavorful. My toddler had a pbj which was great but the bread was very thick. Service was perfect. Prompt. Friendly. Ample outdoor seating and limited indoor seating. People will catch on to this place quickly so go before it gets jammed! My new favorite chelan spot!

A new favorite in Chelan! Great environment and unique and delicious food. We got the grilled cheese panini and the fox panini and both had wonderful flavor. Everything was fresh and enjoyable. You won’t find a better flavored sandwich in Chelan.

Food was good, not great. Nice, fresh, flavorful, visually appealing. We were VERY disappointed with the quantity of chicken on the paninis(buffalo and fox). I think between two heavily breaded sandwiches there may have been half of a thigh combined. Turkey meat on T-Blat was flavorless and non-distinguishable. In all, service was attentive and pleasant, atmosphere was interesting, and flavor combinations were different and tasty.

Adorable spot, off the beaten path and well worth the walk! Decorated to make you feel at home, best Bloody Mary in Chelan, and our server was attentive and might I say super hot. I will make this a regular pit stop at every visit to Chelan!
