While Lenny’s subs are usually really tasty, the food to cost ratio doesn’t add up anymore. The staff is friendly and the shop is clean which I really appreciate. But the past few times we’ve stopped by, the bread seems to be shrinking. It’s basically a large breadstick. :/
The meat seems to have taken a turn toward plastic and they are really stingy with the toppings these days. There was no more than a tablespoon pinch of lettuce on my 7″ sub and about three slices of onions. The cheese was so thin I could see through it. The Hubbs wasn’t any better. Needless to say, disappointment was in the air.
So $ 16 dollars and two subs later, we were still hungry and wondering what’s for dinner.

Best cheese steaks in Chattanooga. You can get any sub 5, 7.5, 10, or 15 inches. Service is amazing as well; the owner frequently asks how you like the food, is quick with any requests, and often cleans up your table before you leave.

Staff was extremely friendly, place was clean, but the food wasn’t the best. The bread was good but the French dip I had was salty salty salty.

Ok, so I am updating my review and giving this Lenny’s an additional star!
Just like last time, the service was fast, friendly and CONSISTENT! That is why I’m giving an additional star. I ordered the exact same salad today as I did on my previous review. It was perfect, fresh, hot, and tasted just like the first salad I had! It’s nice to know if you come back and order something you really like, it’s going to be the same every time!
Lenny’s Sub Shop you definitely have good food, great employees, and consistently good food! Keep it up, and I’ll keep coming back for more :)

Had the buffalo chicken salad for lunch today and it was good, but not great. Unfortunately, this afternoon my stomach is churning and I can only think it is somehow related to the salad. It will be awhile (if ever) before I go back.
My son had the Philly Cheese Steak and it was really outstanding as usual.

It was ok. A step up from Subway. I had a Philly Steak on white. I asked for extra cheese. If it had extra I am glad I asked because it was defiantly lacking cheese. Bread was fresh and good. But it was mostly bread. Not enough meat to fill the bun. I am use to Jersey Mike’s and was excited to try Lenny’s since there isn’t a Jersey Mike’s in Chattanooga! Next time I will drive to Dalton for Jersey’s!!!
