Amazing BBQ, truly awesome! Husband is cook, wife and daughter take orders and serve. Super friendly! We also bought several bottles of their BBQ sauce since it was so incredibly good!

I only had a simple barbecue pork sandwich with fries, and it was the single best sandwich I have had in my entire life. The fries were so crispy and delicious, I will definitely be coming back! The service was incredible; they defined Southern Hospitality better than any place I have ever been. The owner was super friendly, and so was the cashier. The restrooms were clean, the whole restaurant was clean, and the decorations and essence the place carried was lovely. 5 out of 5 stars from me!

Food is good though the line is very slow. Filled about one persons order every eight minutes. At one point had four people trying figure out one person’s order.

I can’t say enough good things about this place! The staff was friendly, it was affordably priced, the food was AMAZING, and they give you a jar of sweet tea to drink. My wife had the pulled pork sandwich, I had the fried bologna. We got green beans and baked beans as our sides. Everything was delicious. If I am ever around there again I will make sure to stop in. I highly recommend it!

I stopped at this place on a whim, and I am so very glad I did! Their food is incredible, I had the Rib/pork combo platter with fried okra and turnip greens. Meet fell right off the rib bones, and they’re hot spicy barbecue sauce was great. Most surprisingly of all is how great their toast is, like butter in every bite. I highly recommend Hillbilly BBQ.

I visited Chattanooga for the weekend of my birthday and found this restaurant on a little strip. The food was delicious! I ordered pulled pork w/bbq beans and French fries. The mild bbq sauce was PERFECT. The pork was seasoned and tender. The French fries were fresh cut potatoes, YUM! Also, the owner was very polite and even had a conversation with us. Very down to earth place!

Awesome food with great sauce. Service was incredible Kaitlyn and Mack were supurb. Meat was perfectly prepared however it seemed to need a bit more smoke flavor. I’m very picky about the smoke flavor in my BBQ. Please don’t hold that against them. Great atmosphere in a local strip mall. Overall a great experience!

Friends from out of town were visiting and they were looking for some top quality TN bar-b-q. We don’t eat a lot of bbq so we depended on online reviews to find the place and this one was highly rated. It’s in a strip mall which was pretty basic nothing fancy. When you walk in the place is clean and the staff was friendly. I had the daily special, pulled pork, side, and drink. The pull pork was flavorful and just right. The side was fried okra and it was delicious. The place lived up to the positive reviews and the crowd loved it.

What can I say about Hillbilly Willies except OMG! I had seen the sign for the place on the highway and went to Unilocal to see if it was worth the stop. Not only is it worth the stop but this is the kind of barbecue that I would drive a hour to get to. Being from Kansas City I think I know a little about barbecue. But back home I drive an hour away to get my favorite rib place passing many famous places on the way. That being said I will tell you why, the ribs. Yes the ribs here are that good. Moist not dry, fall off the bone and has a prefect bark to them. They do not need a sauce but I tried both of them. Both sause was good the hot had a little heat to it but not the kind that would make you not want more or leave a burn in the back of your throat. I had the fried okra with my ribs and it was great. Crunchy little bits of fried prefection. My hubby had the potatoes salad it was okay. Kind of smooth in texture not what I am use to. I will defemtly be coming back for more.

We don’t get out here too often, but it is always perfect. Just kind of a snack today, as we split some sides and a pork sandwich. Pintos were better than ever. Mac and cheese was creamy and I liked the pasta they used. Penne? I’m going to try that at home. Texas toast was good. Slaw really creamy and tasty. As always meat was smoky and tender. Sauces very good. The hot sauce is quite hot. They sell their sauce in bottles. As always, really friendly people working here. Best in town still. Free ice tea with Unilocal check-in! Bam! BTW, it was featured on Tennessee Crossroads a few years ago:

I might move down and make this my regular. Or maybe I’ll just open one in Fort Worth. The food was delicious, the staff was friendly and attentive. The place was very clean, even the bathrooms. I walked in as soon as they opened. On the road to ruby falls. I was greeted by the cashier who was the owners daughter. She was very friendly, introducing us to the restraint and the town. Not only did she help us pick our meal, she told us a few things to do in Chattanooga while we were visiting. The ribs weren’t ready, unfortunately. So I got the BBQ fry plate with beef. For sides I got coleslaw, green beans and fried okra. Omg the fried okra. I’d come here just for the okra.

Found this place on Unilocal while taking a family vacation to Tennessee, after seeing Ruby falls we had lunch here. Staff was SO friendly. not like in FL(haha) Got the ribs, pulled pork sandwiches, french fries and Cole slaw. All food was fresh and yummy. Will return next time we vacation there!

YUM! Tried Hillbilly’s due to high Unilocal!reviews and close vicinity to our hotel — we are impressed! We ordered a whole slab of ribs, mac-n-cheese and baked beans sides. The ribs were tasty! At first, i wasn’t sure; they aren’t baby back, but they were really good and fall off the bone. :) The baked beans were the star of the show though. Some of the best flavor, and no overwhelming onion chunks, etc. It looks a little sketchy; but the food is legit and pretty good bang for buck. Can’t wait to come back to try some of their other storied side dishes!

Delicious! Lives pulled pork sand which and my husband loved his ribs. Both of us preferred the sweet sauce. Fried okra was amazing! And potato salad had too much pickle juice.

Wow Tennessee BBQ! We pigged out, pork, ribs, okra, slaw, everything we could handle… Everything was good, some things better than others but either way you need to check them out, they were super friendly but a little slow… Errr yeah. Slow.

I mean, how can you go wrong with a place in TN called Hillbilly Willy’s? We stopped in for a quick bite on a road trip and were pleasantly surprised. Don’t let the run down strip mall deter you. I had pulled pork, manfriend had ribs, and little lady had pulled chicken. The chicken was a little dry, but everything else was delish! The Mac and cheese and beans were good as well. Top it off with an orange soda, and I’m a happy girl!

Great ribs-fell off the bone. They don’t even give you a knife because the meat just falls off the bones. We got the half rack of ribs with fried okra and coleslaw for $ 26. It was enough food for 2. The fried okra was geeat! Not overcooked– didn’t come sitting in a pool of oil. It was great and I highly recomend it! The coleslaw was the minced kind and while my bf and I enjoy the longer strands of cabbage, this coleslaw was great. It wasn’t too sweet or salty and the amount of mayo was just right. Not too watery. We asked for sauce on the side and that may have been why I thought the ribs were slightly dry but they were still fall off the bone good. There was some pulled pork that came with the dish and that was excellent-pretty juicy! I didn’t feel like it was a texas level rib experience overall hence the 4 stars. Check in and get a free sweetened or non sweetened iced tea. Only some of the employees knew about it though.
