O’Reilly’s Auto Parts

Average size parking lot and store. They were painting the outside of the building, so half of the spots were taped off. I was looking for a certain accessory and found it on their website. But when I saw it in person, it had a black stripe on the outside… You can’t see it on the website picture. Oh well, I can’t knock the store… It’s not their fault. I saw at least five employees sticking the shelves of behind the counter… More than most auto parts stores. I’ll give them another try next time when I need something and update this review. And, all the employees seemed friendly and were helpful in finding my item.

–5 stars if I could. Walked in. One person in line. I didn’t want to hold my 50-​lb core, so I put it on the counter, knowing there was one person (guy in blue) ahead of me. By the time female counter person (in back helping another customer) walked out, there were 4 – 5 other people in line. She tells me to leave core there and get in line. I told her I an behind the guy in blue. She thinks (because she walked out far after the rest of the ‘line’ formed — there is no formal ‘line) that I am trying to ‘cut’ in line. When it’s my turn (after the guy in blue is helped), she walks away from me without saying a word and goes to the back. When I finally stand in line (after the 5 people who were there after I was) and try to be helped, the other female behind the counter doesn’t know how to do a core return from another store. I also asked why the first female walked away. I was told ‘she is the ‘commercial person’ and doesn’t help people (even though she was helping a customer when I walked in). When the guy came over to do the core return, the first female came out and started helping other people. I said «I thought you just told me she didn’t help customers.» The guy said she helps sometimes. That;s when she accused me of trying to cut in line. I told her she was flat out lying. The manager (Tim) who walked over had no desire to hear what happened. He also measured a bolt I had, and told me it was a 12mmx150. He had no tap for that. I ended up going across the street and found that it was a 12mmx125, and they DID have a tap.
Bottom line: if you want to be ignored, then accused of cutting in line and lying, and on top of it have a bolt measured wrong, go to this Oreilly. I highly suggest you go to another location, if not elsewhere.

Very dissatisfied I went in with a bad battery and waited almost an hour as several other customers were assisted. And other employees roamed around the store but one person ran the cash register and assisted me to test my battery. I will not be returning.

Went in to replace a headlamp. Amanda the store manager helped me and she was very knowledgable and friendly. She helped me find my bulb very quickly and was able to show me how to install it.

Tim was awesome!!! He really is customer service!!! He helped with putting the oil in my vehicle. He had a smile on his face super friendly in my time of need. I have always had great customer service at this location which is the reason that it has me coming back thank you.

Always enjoyed the great customer service here, always made to feel like friend and family and very knowledgeable staff. Plus, they have everything I need and will always call me when the parts are ready to pick up. Excellent!

I was SO impressed with the service I received!!!
I came out one morning to find my car battery had died. My neighbor gave me a jump start and said that after I dropped my daughter off at school, I should head over to ORellly’s and have them test my battery. Now — I’m a single mom who was unemployed for a great deal of last year — and an expensive repair is the LAST thing I needed. I headed over to the store and asked to have my battery tested. The gentleman came out and said that the charge was so low, he couldn’t even test it, the battery had to be fully charged before he could accurately test it. He said he could take the battery out, charge it, test it and I could come back in an hour — but that given that the battery was 4 years old, chances are I would need a new one. I left thinking how the heck am I going to pay for this… I came back an hour later and to my surprise they told me that while my battery tested «last life» (I think that was the term they used) that I could probably still get another 3 months out of my battery. I was so impressed!!! They could have easily sold me a new battery — I was fully expecting to have to buy a new one and would never have questioned them if they’d told me that was what I needed.
I cannot stress enough how much I appreciate their honesty — because of it — they’ve earned a customer for life who will tell everyone about her positive experience!

I drove all over the valley looking for a specific bolt that goes to my aftermarket suspension because the one I had fell off. No one besides this store had it and I swear if it wasn’t from them I was gonna have to just shove Amy random bolt in there and use lock tight to make sure it would stay. I really appreciate the parts they keep and the people who helped me were very polite and very helpful I’d drive all the way down to them again just because I feel I would get exactly what I’m looking for with them!

I had my windshield wipers replaced here today. When I walked in I was greeted nicely and was given options for which windshield wipers to buy, from high to low. Then the manager offered to put them on my car for no charge. Very good service!

I purchased new windshield wipers in preparation for the storm we just had but once it actually hit, my passenger wiper kept coming off and would scrape against my windshield. I stopped by on Tuesday during my lunch to have someone take a look at it and it was pretty busy. They had someone standing outside helping a line of people with their wipers. Even still, I was out within 15 minutes. My wiper was missing a piece which was why it kept coming off. It was an even exchange so I didn’t have to pay extra. The service was great and I will definitely be back!

Been comin here since it was Kragen and since the reseda Devonshire Kragen closed. They have about the same selection and quality of products as auto zone and pep boys. It just seems more personal here.
Most recently I took a corolla to the dealer to have some recalls done, they told me I needed a water pump. I was skeptical so I went to Oreilly. I’m telling Tim about the year make and model and the rattle I hear. He tells me an easy way to diagnose a bad water pump and asks if I wanted to check my car outside. Sure enough the signs he mentioned are present and the dealer diagnoses is confirmed.
They had all the parts and even explained the procedure of how to install them. Honest and simple customer service. I believe my install will be easy or at least without surprises and the old part will have needed to be replaced. If not I’ll edit this post.

Christian was very delightful. He greeted me immediately upon entering the store, offered to test my car battery, and personally changed my car battery. THAT’S SERVICE!
