Mesas sucias, comida fría servicio lento y lo peor a los latinos nos asignaron unas mesas en la parte trasera aun teniendo mesas en el comedor principal(éramos 3 familias latinas)

I have been a big fan of this restaurant, and I go about once a week. But, I was so dissatisfied with the service and the meal I got yesterday, I decided to write about it, which is something I seldom do. Being a vegetarian, I’ve ordered this item many times, so I know what it is supposed to taste like. Firstly we waited so long for our food to be prepared/served, and the restaurant wasn’t even that crowded. Could the guy in the blue shirt(Mgr. ?) try harder to not make eye contact, I had to ask myself, as he saw us waiting, and waiting, and waiting. I ordered egg on a croissant. The entire sandwich was so soggy and gummy, I had to wonder if our server left it sitting on the counter while my companion’s dish was being prepared. Note to servers: please do not let food sit for extended periods before serving to paying customers. Croissants, by design are crispy. And not for nothing, but no one likes a hot mealy tomato. The food was a total wash and I feel somewhat cheated. I’ll have to wait a bit before I decide to pay to be treated with somewhat indifference and be served second rate food again. Come on Mimi’s you guys are better than this.

GPS keeps telling me to head to the same lot as Lowe’s, so I could not find it. Calling yielded no answer.

Service 5*s Food 4*s Carpe Diem Liz! My server Liz was spot on excellent to all of her guests. I swear she had her wheaties this morning as she was quick, thorough and polite. The food was so so, but the vibe was perfect as I was able to enjoy my coffee and take a break this morning.

Saturday February 20,2016 late lunch 2:00 pm. Worst service for a slow time. Spent more time waiting than eating. Decided to pay cash for bill on the table so as not to wait for waitress to return with credit card payment. Left bill, 15% tip in waitress folder with bill on the table. As we were pulling out the waitress came running out followed by the manager saying we hadn’t paid our bill! I had my son get out of the car, return to our table, where the bill, folder & payment were still standing!!! My son handed it to the incompetent waitress, who said she was u aware that was our table & the manager stood by her side & stated that he knew nothing about this! — Totally unprofessional, no apology, nothing– will NEVER return or recommend this Café.

We came here for dinner. The hostess was friendly and that’s as far as it went. The servers ignored us. We sat there for 15 minutes and no one acknowledged us. I saw the 2 servers and tall old man and a girl kind of look at us out of the corner of their eyes. And nothing! Service was nonexistent and I’m sure the food would have been awful too! We will not ever return!

Love this place! My boyfriend and I make sure to stop in every weekend. It’s our absolute favorite place to go for breakfast. We suggest you try out favorite meals: I always have the Strawberries and Cream Waffles, the Grand Treatment, compliment it with a Mango Mimosa. My boyfriend have two favorite meals depending on how hungry he is; if you’re down for some heavy eating try Chicken and Waffles like you’ve never tried before. Simply amazing, I always steal a bite. Also, the Avocado Bacon Omelette is superb. It’s lighter on the appetite, but there is still a hefty serving of food. Most the servers there are spectacular. Enjoy!

Came here on a Sunday morning for breakfast, it wasn’t busy. Service was absolutely horrible. It took them about 20 minutes after we were seated to come to our table to ask us for drinks. And even longer after that to take our order for food. We were also told they were out of champagne when we wanted to order mimosas. 10 minutes later we saw the waiter taking champagne to other tables. By the time our food came to the table it was cold. So all together we were not satisfied with our meal. We enjoyed the juices we ordered though.

Mimi’s is usually pretty good. Today was no exception. The wife and daughter both opted for the steak and fries, I got a chicken salad with blueberry muffin. Food and service were good. Steaks cooked correctly, chicken tender, salad greens fresh. Anticipating the leftover steak and fries for a tempting lunch tomorrow!

I am so disappointed about my experience at this restaurant I’m not even waiting until I get home to write this review. I’m pregnant and I had morning sickness all morning and the only thing that sounded good was a fried egg. So I thought about Mimi’s Café. I hadn’t been there in awhile but I was craving it so I figured we could give it a try. My husband and I walked in and it was busy which we understood because it was the day after Christmas. We were seated fairly soon then we waited about 10 minutes to order when the waitress asked for our drinks we ordered all of our food. Then when the waitress walked away I noticed that my pants were covered in syrup. When I told the waitress she said«ok» without apologizing, then the bus boy came and quickly wiped off the seat. I went to the bathroom and I cleaned off my pants the best I could. Then I came back to the booth and calmed my husband down because he was really frustrated. Then I realized that there was syrup, that the bus boy missed, all over my side of the table and all down my pant leg. My husband was very frustrated at this point and went to the hostess to ask if we could change tables. When we got to the second table the waitress then delivered our food and it was all wrong. Missing things and not cooked the way we asked which we didn’t ask for a lot of changes. We then realized that we left our drinks at the last table and she didn’t offer to get us new ones. So my husband and I talked to the manager and then we left. Then I got in the car and I realized that I have syrup on my brand new $ 200 uggs. We will not be back.

The service was not the best, it’s just as near the type of service you get at your typical Norms or Denny’s. The food was ok, not super delicious, but at least not bland. One par above the Norms and Denny’s food. This is a chained American diner, so just expect that much. The chicken and waffles were awesome. The chicken is white meat, but well made, lightly battered, and very juicy.

I made reservations for my bf breakfast party on a Sunday morning… When I arrive, the tables were not set, no silverware or even champagne glasses. The table cloths were full of crumbs I had to dust it off myself… Our server Vanessa was just ok… She was assigned to the party and yet she was given other tables… We had to constantly flag her down and approach her just to get what we want… Glasswares were not even set so I had to keep on asking for champagne glasses or just mere glasses for our drinks! How do they expect us to drink if we don’t have glasses? I already made it so easy for them by bringing our own juices and champagne… The manager tried helping us but it’s just merely common sense that we need glassware… Overall experience was just ok. Thank you though but I would never throw a party here ever again.

This place is not really Kat Kompatible. I have an allergy to butter. So, pretty much everything here has butter with the exception of the fruit. I came here for a networking event this morning. The service was great. I got a small plate of potatoes free of butter. I am happy that they accommodated to my dietary restrictions. The ambiance is quite warm and inviting. Typical of other Mimi’s Café.

Terrible!!! Don’t ever go there!!! Ten different waitress/servers maybe four tables and yet no help to be found when we looked around… Our waitress and all others acted as if we were bothering them when we asked for simple thing such as food??? My burger came out Cold and with salad(was never even asked what side I wanted)!!! My boyfriend asked to add bacon of course there was none… We let them know they said it would be fixed … 20 minutes later(we had already been here for 30 minutes) they brought out burger bloody(asked for medium well) mushrooms raw and could barely cut through bread soaked in grease!!! Ewwweee !!! The service was worse then the food :(

I have always been a fan of Mimi’s Café since the first time I tried it 8 years ago. The classics always bring me back and I cannot even begin to rave about how consistently delicious their corn chowder is after all these years. Today, I had the pleasure of ordering the half sandwich and soup meal that is notably affordable($ 8.99). My mother ordered the same thing and let me tell you, we did not regret it. I docked it one star for a few reasons. The place wasn’t incredibly crowded but the food took too long to arrive at our table. Maybe that is a good thing since then it’s more likely that our food was made fresh, but for soup and sandwich to take about 30 – 45 minutes is a lot. Second, I’m not sure why they don’t automatically put appetizer bread as soon as you sit down, but now I had to ask for it instead of the bread just being there automatically after we order. It’s just those little things, but I definitely still love this place. Wish there’s a closer one to where I live.

When I was little, my art teacher would have us paint the Mimi’s café restaurant building(not this location, but another one close to home), but I never really stepped inside to try out their food until recently when I went to lunch with some of my coworkers. The food here is pretty decent, but nothing special. They have some good lunch specials. I ordered the premium salad/soup combination which came with the baby spinach salad with vinaigrette dressing, and their french onion soup, and my choice of a side(which I chose fries) for $ 7.99 or so. That’s not bad at all for a sit-down restaurant. The reason why I didn’t give this place a higher rating was because the salad had too much dressing(I probably should have ordered the salad dressing on the side), and the french onion soup was too salty/heavy for my taste. The fries were also slightly stale. Otherwise, it’s not bad for the price. The service is pretty good, and they were nice about splitting the checks for us. I wouldn’t mind coming again, but probably would want to try other food in the area first.

I spent $ 30 bucks on a meal that really, really wasn’t good. First impression was okay – its 2 hours before closing and its empty. We were served bread that was good… then it went down from there. The sign outside it’s fully lite up. That should be a tale sign that management/owners aren’t paying attention. The food isn’t going to be great either. The service its self was fine, the ladies were attentive but the food was low quality which at that point, your experience is ruined. The steak had a lot of fat and the parts that weren’t fat was very hard. Now this is no steak house but its not denny’s either, then again maybe it is. Steak $ 17 bucks for fat and hard steak. I had the corn chowder, lack taste and the corn was hard – this might have come out of a can. Chowder $ 6. The service is okay but you don’t want to tip because its bad enough you’re spending on a meal that wasn’t even worth half of what you spent but you don’t want to take it out on the waiters. I wasn’t feeling well and wasn’t up to complain to try to not get charged the full amount. Eating should not be a stressful experience! Long story short I won’t be back, the corn chowder here(which is the reason why I came) is no good. This place attracts a lot of old people, is dirty and run down. If you look at the pictures online you can see the food is low quality, burned. Wish I had looked first instead of after with regret. Management get your food act together – redo your menu and hire new cooks before its too late.

Wow what a difference makes when you have all the employees working together to provide you the best service that you could possibly get a big chain of Restaurants The service me and some of my family members from out of town received from your location in Chatsworth was exceptional. I commend your entire staff for doing a Great Job. It makes a difference when all your employees are on the same page, and that is providing service to your customers. Great Job.

This restaurant is a casual setting and depending on what day, time, and which server you get, will determine your service and food quality. Today was a very good experience. Our server(Aida) was on it! Loved her! Need more pleasant servers like her in the restaurant. Last time we got a really grumpy lady that was not happy to be there. It’s actually funny because we saw her from a distance today serving other customers, and again looked very unhappy. Felt bad for those people who had her. :( We had a small incident with our coke not having enough co2, but our server fixed the problem, and even had the manger, Holly, come to check in with us. She made sure we were ok and was very sweet. However, the reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5 is because it’s inconsistent with the service and food quality.

Met up with a girlfriend for brunch at this location around 11an and the service was excellent. Patrick was our server and he gave us good recommendations of things to try. I ended up ordering the Santa Fe omelette with a mango mimosa. Food was great, my omelette was well done and my mimosa was delicious. My order came with a muffin and I got the blueberry muffin. It arrived warm and ready to eat. Patrick checked on our table quite frequently and he was really helpful in cleaning out our table too. Definitely a location to visit at another time, it’s quite popular and it gets crowded but that’s just life in general when you are being lazy and don’t want to cook: P
