Good food. Love that you can order online, but will only order for pick-up since delivery is not free. Love their fried rice and rice noodles with crab meat. Pa-nang, red, and green curries are good too, just don’t like that rice is not included. Fried wontons were pretty much empty inside, and the sauce that came with it tasted a little weird.

Love this place. My wife and I have been coming here about twice a month for the past 3 years and it has never failed us. Prices are decent and the food is amazing. Make sure you try the sticky mango rice and if you like pineapple, I love the pineapple curry. Service is great too!

Moments ago… had the food delivered and it took 40 minutes and that was fine. When we unpackaged and began to eat it, we could taste that the chicken sate was old and was either cooked the day before and refrigerated or was left to sit out from this morning. The other item ginger fish with ground beef was average at best but some of the styrofoam was melted similar to microwaving foam for too long. The beef salad was really bad. Old tomatoes, odd beef pieces and wilted romaine. It was not fresh at all. The curry was however, excellent. I called to discuss the food(ordered via eat24) and was told the owner would call me back. 10 minutes later, I receive a call from a gentleman who within 10 seconds of hearing how I didn’t care for the food and he abruptly ushers me off the phone and says«its not my problem, call Eat24» and hangs up… I waited 10 minutes and called back and the same gentleman answered and I politely said there was no reason to hang up on me(which he denied doing), and I began to say that his response to my concern about the food quality was not satisfactory at which point he begins to insult me… I broke his vocal stride by saying that I don’t want a refund and this is not a money issue, but you should be aware… He basically tells me that since its not about money, that he has nothing left to say to me… rude, uncouth and no business sense or decorum.

Best shrimp pad Thai I’ve ever had. I love Thai food and was craving something like a drunken noodle type entrée. But decided to go old school with a pad Thai. They add shredded purple cabbage and stringy carrots which takes the dish to a whole new level. It is a small space but I did take out so can’t speak for the space. Ordered 15 mins before they closed and they had it ready in 5.

We order often from this place. The food is great, but doesn’t help much since they get orders wrong frequently. The owner is very rude to pretty much al customers. Due to the frequent errors always check your order for missing items. If delivered they refuse to come out with a new order. Cannot recommend this place until new owner or management is in place.

An ok Thai restaurant with a clean environment and vegan choices. But it wasn’t anything too special. It was ok, their pad see ew was a bit too salty or strong for me, but that’s just based on my personal preference.

It was okay. I was hoping for better. I still prefer Jasmine Thai in Porter Ranch. There was really nothing fabulous about the food that made it stand out. It is located in a little strip mall and was empty when I went. Small little place and often these are some good places. Had high hopes I guess.

Food and service were stellar! Green curry out of the park. Pad Thai on sweet side but delicious. And crab fried rice good too. The atmosphere is very intimate and nice. Thanks! We’ll be back!

Having moved to Orange County since starting college, I come back to the valley infrequently and have yet to have the time to do real gastronomic samplings. AKA I usually just eat the same stuff with my mom when I come back. My mom has been looking for some better Thai food(there’s bamboo thai by our home, but it’s price vs. value could be better). I Unilocaled this place versus«The Original Khun Dang» and honestly don’t know the difference. I phoned in an order and the owner/hostess was friendly enough and promised my food in a timely manner. I was coming back from an appointment at Kaiser in Woodland Hills, so a 15 – 20 minute drive and happily enough the food was ready. I brought it back home, a quick 10 minute drive, and opened up the three dishes that I ordered: Pad Thai Shrimp, Pad See Ewe Beef, and Minced Pork on Rice. Having had the best Thai Food I’ve had in Irvine and Huntington Beach, I had some standard to what I was eating. The Pad Thai Shrimp and Pad See Ewe were exactly what they promised, but I can’t say they were anything to write home about. The noodles were cooked well and the sauces were perfectly sweet and savory. There could have been more beef/shrimp, but it was pretty average. Now the one let down was the minced pork on rice, it seemed a lot of people on Unilocal ordered this, so I gave it a try. I’ve had a similar Chinese version, and liked it a lot, so I assumed the Thai version would be similar. It turned out to be really dry and bland, and almost seemed like a wasted order/dish. While the meal overall wasn’t anything special, this dish definitely turned me off, and sent my review to the lower end of average. Other than this, it was close to home and as someone else mentioned, it was Thai food.

It’s perfectly serviceable Thai food, but nothing special. I arrived there 30 minutes before closing and placed a to-go order. The lady who took my order was pleasant. The vegetarian spring rolls were good and crispy. But the steamed vegetables with chicken did not have much taste.(The chicken almost seemed boiled — it was just plain-tasting.) The same goes for the pad thai chicken, which was nothing to write home about.

Finally found a local Thai restaurant that’s delicious & authentic. I’m so happy my gf and I decided to give this place a try. My girlfriend always brags about some delicious real Thai food places around her area(Orange county) so I felt pressured to find an authentic one close to me in the valley! And I’ve succeeded! I cannot wait to take my entire family here. I will definitely be back. Staff is friendly, restaurant itself is small but busy. I live closer to other«well known» Thai restaurants and they honestly taste like a panda express version of Thai food so I’m happy to have found my go-to spot for some real Thai dishes!

Is not consistent with the quality of the Sepulveda location. This place is a hole in the wall spot but don’t be discouraged. It still possesses more authenticity than other Thai food joints in the valley. Came to dine-in and ordered a few things on their menu. I love the Sepulveda location so I had high expectations for this one. Unfortunately, it wasn’t up to par with the other spot. Food wasn’t the same… Their beef jerky was more on the chewy side. I’m hoping it’s just a fluke. The ambiance is completely different with outdated utensils. The one staff we encountered was very friendly. I hope they’re able to catch up to the other location. Until then I’ll be going to the Sepulveda one. Rooting for you guys since this location is closer to me!

I’m a big fan of authentic Thai food and Khun Dang has all the rich and aromatic Southeast Asian taste and tang of Thailand. We are especially crazy about their green thai chicken/pork curry. Although the food is great, we prefer picking up orders than dining in because the resto could get just as hot and humid as Bangkok during the summer. It could also use better ventilation.

I moved to Chatsworth a year ago and ate Thai in every restaurant I can possibly think of in Chatsworth; out of all of the restaurants, this Thai place is the best! My kids won’t eat chinese at all because it just isn’t the same. Service is prompt and nice. We usually get the lemon shrip spicy hot soup and noodles

Was craving thai food yesterday and hadn’t loved the other places in chatsworth. remembered a friend had told me good things about Khun Dang Thai. I ordered my favorite dishes for delivery — mee grob(it’s like thai candy corn!), pad soon sen with beef, thai chicken fried rice and panang chicken. Everything was fantastic! So often when i order meegrob for delivery it ends up soggy from steam by the time it arrives. But this had perfect flavor and was super crispy! Pad soon sen was exactly the flavor i like. with the noodles cooked in the wok so it had the flavor of the wok a smudge sweet, but perfectly cooked. I will say i asked for the chicken curry medium spicy and while the flavor was good, it was just too damn hot for me to eat. The rice was perfect also. Can’t wait to order again. ‚ Also the food got here really fast too.

— service: ordered online. When i called about 15mins later, they had no idea about my order. Order for pick up took 45mins total. When i got there, there were only 6 people eating — FOOD: its ok. Taste like it was reheated food from the fridge, especially the angel wings — dont order… Bbq chicken wasnt bad. Pork jerky — dont order. Pad see u, not bad. Will i come back again? No. I’d rather go to Amazing Siam at Topanga & Lassen(no, im not a competitor reviewing, please check my posted photos of my order) where food taste fresher, better quality food, nice staff, & free thai tea @ check in or delivery!:)

Lunch specials end at 3pm, which is good to know when it’s 247pm and you’re craving some Thai food. Thanks to the Unilocal+ combo I was able to order some cashew chicken, fried rice, and a thai tea quickly and efficiently and 15 minutes later when I arrived at the restaurant it was ready to be picked up and taken home. Unfortunately when I made it home I discovered that instead of giving me a thai ice tea i had been served a regular unsweetened ice tea. I checked my receipt and did in fact order the thai tea(and was charged that price, which I assume is more than the regular soda). This was the one thing I was really craving, so minus one star for messing up the order. The food however was good, especially for the price. It was a large portion, the chicken was good quality, and the veggies were fresh. I ordered the medium and next time would go as far as getting one spice level up. Service, although the interaction at the restaurant was brief due to my online order, was also pleasant. I would return, but would also be sure to double check my order next time.
