Try everything, of course! But the cheeseburger and their onion rings are fricken awesome. I’ve tried the chicken sandwich, turkey burger, polish sausage, chili cheese fries, corn dog, added bacon on the cheeseburger which they know exactly how to cook, and don’t forget their seasoned fries. For all the options and the consistency of deliciousity, I’m absolutely a Dandy’s fanatic. No shame. Outdoor seating only and they play music over their patio, or use their drive thru. Imo it adds to the atmosphere which is almost like the quality of food and decent prices of the past mashed up(like their burgers, yum!) with the hectic everyday of the valley. A gem in the rough!

This burger stand has been around 20+ years and the owners provide consistently great service. It is tough to find a good value burger in the mid-price range these days, and Dandy’s delivers in that respect. A considerable step up from chain fast food burger joints(Mcdonald’s), but not in competition with the growing popularity of fast casual establishments(Five Guy’s), Dandy’s fills a niche of providing a satisfactory meal for those passing by looking for VALUE. Would I drive out of my way to eat here? Nope, but good enough for a decent quick meal on the go when convenience is a factor.

Okay not horrible not the best — fries where obviously the star of the meal crispy with seasoned salt– little overpriced for what it is

If your from the valley you would remember a place in San Fernando called Danny’s Dogs. This place reminds me of the fries they used to serve there, also the burgers are flamed broiled not fried like other places. Also try the steak sandwich its awesome. I’ve been going here for 20 years and they don’t disappoint.

Dandy’s has an excellent hamburger and their fries are the best I’ve tasted in the West Valley. I would go back just for the fries. They only have a few tables outside and no indoor seating so most of their business in by drive-thru or carry out.

It’s a small drive through, but the speaker box to order doesn’t work, so you have to drive up to the window to order, pay and pick up. It was around 1:45pm and no one in front of me. Nice older Asian couple running the place… Just the two of them. There’s a few parking spots and tables and chairs outside too. The thin burger was cooked nicely, with lettuce, tomato, onions, thousand island sauce, and I opted out of the pickles. The bun was thin and wasn’t so great, but it didn’t soak through or fall apart during my meal. The seasoned fries were okay, but the medium thickness is still s little too big for my taste… I like the mcd’ size fries. You get a nice large drink with your combo meal too. Thumbs up for that! I think the sign above the building has old pricing painted on the sign… My combo including tax was $ 8.99. The place is okay, but not in my top ten in the area. Maybe I’ll try the onion rings next time. Oh, and they both thanked me when the order was done.

Great service. Small Korean family owned business. Food is bomb. Chili cheese fries are so flavorful. Idk why those that gave little stars are hating but I’m definitely a fan! Glad I found this small-cozy-hole –in-the-wall gem! Kudos for doing all that you do. Yum!

Unilocalers, where have you led me? Their«big» burger was hardly big, and just meh. Meat lacked flavor, generic 1000 island dressing, the usual trimmings. Smashed down to about 1.5 inch tall. Way overpriced at $ 5+. 2 stars for the fries, which are indeed good, but portions also skimp at $ 3+. For $ 9+, I was sorely unsatisfied. Drive thru was interestingly unconventional.

Not your average mom and pop shop, let’s say this place is one of those«don’t judge a book by its cover places«Dandys is a good little local joint that serves good food with excellent service. This place is ran, cooked and managed by the owners and let me tell you they definitely know how to take car of their customers and cook a mean old burger. I ordered a double cheeseburger and chilli fries and I didn’t leave disappointed. NOTYOURAVERAGECHILLI but filled with flavor and good amount of cheese. the fries alone are good and tasty with whatever god given seasoning they have on those fries make it stand out and deliver. Good job guys I’ll be back … I’ll be back

Worst place ever! They got my ordered wrong & then expected me to pay extra for their mistakes. I will never be returning again. It took 30 minutes for«fast food». They were so rude about getting my order wrong.

Been going here since I was in elementary school. It’s been over 10 years and I’m still absolutely in love with this place. Hands down, the best fries ever made! It’s simply potatoes and seasoned salt, but I have yet to try anything better than these! I usually get the steak sandwich. It’s a whole piece of meat(I wanna say skirt steak, but I’m have no idea what I’m talking about in all honesty) sandwiched between a toasted bun with onions, tomatoes, and lettuce. It’s my favorite item on the menu. This place is perfect in its simplicity. It’s a small ma and pa shop and it hasn’t changed much in over a decade. Even the owners haven’t aged! The best local fast food restaurant, by far! If you’re in the area and looking for something quick, definitely stop by!

Likely some of the worst in quality, but if you’re hungry and if your only walking and there is no place to go, this is not so bad. In fact the fries are pretty good. Again, they are likely frozen low quality garb, but they taste pretty good with the seasoning. They also have other options like fish patty or garden burger.

Divey little drive-thru… But the food is good! Fries are crispy and the burgers are thin but full of flavor. Best of all, the food is made to order. As you wait in the drive-thru, you can watch the guys working the grill. This place should 100% replace any fast food cravings. It doesn’t beat In n’ Out. But it’s a million times better than McDonalds, Burger King, etc.

Easily one of the best burger joints in the valley. The food is made to order every time; the sound of bubbling oil as they fry the french fries after they take my order makes me salivate every time. The business has been around as long as I can remember growing up in the valley and I’ve been eating here for years. The employees are friendly and always greet me with a smile. Definitely a hidden gem of the valley.

What can you say besides they have hands down the best fry’s in the valley!!! I know that several other places have made that claim like Daglas but I’m sorry. Second place is wide open so fight it out but Winner and still champ is Dandy.

** 4.75 stars! A Ma & Pa worth finding! #goodEats I couldn’t give a full 5 stars based on the following: Baseline: 3-stars Pros: + 0.5 star: Straight up Ma & Pa. If you like«hole-in-the-walls» or Ma & Pa’s, then this is the place for you! + 1 star: Location, location, location! Located next to a 7 – 11 and has it’s own parking. No confusion of finding the place in a sea of other strip mall stores. It’s the original location, has drive-thru window, and outdoor covered seating. + 1 star: Food is DELICIOUS! You’ll want to order their french fries because everyone remembers the seasoned salt that it comes coated in. *licks lips & salivates — just thinking about it!* I’ve even tried their fish sandwich(way out of the norm for a hamburger joint but ordered it because it was Lent). For a fried fish sandwich, it was mighty tasty and filling. Definitely better than most filet-o-fish sandwiches. Cons: — 0.25 star: Accepts credit cards. I know, I know… you’re asking, «Isn’t this a plus?! A Positive! Good news!» Unfortunately though, I have strong feelings that true Ma & Pa locations are Cash Only. It’s the whole novelty of believing that Ma & Pa’s want to keep all their hard earned money without paying POS fees to big credit cards companies. It’s a convenience to the customer when they accept credit cards but there’s more of a «Ma & Pa» feeling when it’s Cash Only. Sorry! — 0.5 star: No indoor seating. For those of you that like a cozy booth to eat at, sorry… you’ll need to go elsewhere. Overall, you can’t go wrong with this place. Love it! Thumbs up!
