I love this place! The food is always consistently good! Great choices and decent service. The food is worth the wait when they are busy!

Hmmm… this location is a bit different then others. I’ve been to other California Chicken cafes and have loved the food. I’ll get the chinese chicken salad or the roasted chicken and either are a can’t miss. But this place the greens aren’t as fresh. I was actually picking through my salad picking out the wilted old pieces. And to clarify, not the pieces of green that are soggy because of the dressing but because it was old. At any rate, the food is good and just keep an eye out for old pieces of greens. What’s cool about this place is the complimentary Hawaiian Ice. After you’re done with the your meal, get a cup of shaved ice and add syrup. When we went they have 2 syrups. That part was cool.

Love this place. Come here all the time. Calling ahead works great and saves you a lot of time. I personally love the veggie wrap as well as the combo wrap. I recently got the«junior» size which was much better for me. Otherwise I only finish about half of the regular wrap. The half size salads aren’t a bad way to go either if you aren’t sharing. The California chicken salad is amazing. And so it the squash side. Pretty much anything you order is delicious.

So my wife orders for pick up. We like Ciceks better, but we were having people over and she felt they would like this better. So first the person can’t find our order, so I step out of the way so they can help the next person, while I try to figure this out with my wife on the phone. So I get her on the phone and get back in line, so I’m next and this girl walks up and puts a register closed sign right in front of me, and this guy(another customer) tells me she could have said something, so that eggs me on and I tell her«really?!» so she starts arguing with me and so some guy tries to intercede, and I tell him I want my food, it turns out it was sitting on the shelf getting cold. All they had to do was give me my food. Young incompetent people(damn millennials) that don’t know anything about customer service and act like they’re doing you a favor by doing their job. I hate when restaurants try to make excuses, instead of trying to make things right for you. They’ve treated me good at Claim Jumpers and didn’t try to argue. I am so pissed.

We visited this place in our lunch break, we had to wait 25 minutes to get our food, we had to literally get up couple if times to go to the waiter to ask for some bread, we asked for barbecue souse witch we never received. I would not recommend any one to ho there. Very unorganized place. The quality of food was not even close to other CPKs. By the way i never got the barbecue sauce at the end!!!

Love this location. Quick and easy! Always love the chicken and roasted potatoes. The broccoli pasta salad is really good. The Chinese chicken salad is a favorite and the portion is enough for two. The ingredients here are always fresh. Friendly helpful staff. Very clean restaurant.

I LOVE this place. Another family favorite. They’re healthy and simply good food. I stick with the chicken, broccoli pasta and hot potatoes. I noticed they added sweet potatoes to their hot potatoes. That’s relatively new. They originally had regular potatoes but I love the taste. It certainly added to the overall taste of the potatoes. I do love their mashed potatoes with gravy as well. I’m a fan of their bbq sauce and their salsa! I also absolutely love their chinese chicken salad. It’s very flavorful and the dressing is amazing! They have quite a few locations which is cool. It’s nice to have grown with a company lol. I remember the original one on Melrose back in the day. Congrats California Chicken Café! California Chicken Café is truly my favorite chicken place, 2nd to none!

Get here early or call in your order in advance. The lunchtime is packed. And why? DAMN good chicken and the salads are unbelievably awesome. The Chinese chicken salad is big enough for two… even though you want to eat it all! The roasted potatoes are the best side dish there!

Friendly service, nice clean ambiance, wasn’t to #Cray about the metal utensils(maybe I’m being picky) Food-Fresh-Clean with a little Spice w/Sauces. I will defiantly be back… 4-Stars pretty good food. –Blessings

CCC no matter where I visit, has a friendly and outspoken team, and a sense of urgency. I just happen to love this location because it’s a mile from where I live, and they always send me great coupons in the mail!

Love /hate relationship with CCC, this time it’s hate and I’m not sure they can recover back to love. I’ve complained about the value, the portion size, the wait, but they’ve always had one pillar that kept this operation standing for me… and that was the food quality and food flavor. My last visit, that last pillar collapsed. Something about the quality has truly diminished in this place. Ordered the California Chicken Salad without pita and pasta. Came out and it looked great but the chicken was severely underseasoned… tasted bland and dry. Tried to help it with additional hot sauce, but it couldn’t mask the rubbery texture of the chicken. I asked for balsamic vinaigrette and got this goopy, sticky, sugary dressing that I couldn’t palette. I was, at the time, on a low carb Paleo-ish diet that restricted added sugar so I tried to ask the ingredients and no one could tell me if the dressing had added sugar… which tells me that they 1. Don’t make it fresh in the restaurant and 2. It’s likely there is preservatives and additional sugar since it is shipped in. I emailed the corporate office and they sent me an email saying it wasn’t policy to release the ingredients to the public. Wtf? What if I had an allergy? I’m not asking for the damn recipe, I just need to know the ingredient list. Oh CCC, I’m tired of you. It was a great run but it’s time to move on. Time to enjoy me some Zankou.

Absolutely disgusting. I can’t even type. There were three pubic hairs in my chinese chicken salad. We ordered to go. Got to the office and after we were starving and inhaling our food we look down to find three in a row. I posted a picture below and circled the hairs in red. Do NOT go here. I’m traumatized.

Food is great(if correctly made), however the quote times over the phone are far more favorable than the realistic time they make you wait which is a minimum 4 times the time they say it’ll take. They always say 15 – 20 minutes over the phone, but when we get there after 40 minutes of hanging up, they still haven’t made it. Food is great, again, but just be honest with the time we gotta wait. That’s all hungry people are asking for. Update: They forgot my Hot Rot Chicken on my 411 salad on my to go order. The chicken is a part of the ‘1’ on the 411 menu. How? I don’t even… Krista, however, the supervisor(pardon me if I’m misspelling your name) was very polite and apologetic over the phone and offered me credit for an entirely separate salad next time I go in. No charge. Thanks, girl, you’re the best and your customer service is on point. But your team who assembles the salads needs retraining BAD because my chicken is always forgotten. Always.

This is my third review for this location, and I have to say, it’s gone down every time and I will not be returning. I keep giving them more chances because the food is great, but they have never ONCE gotten my order right. My order is not that complicated — no lettuce, extra dressing on the side are the only modifications. Yet, every time we pick up our to go order and sit down at home to eat, there is ALWAYS something incorrect or missing. I’m just done with this location.

Horrible horrible service !!! Needs a new management this place is a dead zombie no wonder why it’s dead empty !!! We walked in placed our order it’s been 20 minutes of waiting and still don’t have our food Manager astrid, is a waste of time we let her know her service sucks and it’s super slow and not acceptable. Her only reply back was I’m sorry we had system errors! Never to this location again!

This is definitely the prettiest CCC location of all the SoCal locations and the best service too. However. every time I find myself visiting CCC I always feel the same way. Faux«healthy» option with mediocre, overpriced food. Salads are drenched in dressing so I recommend ordering it on the side. The chicken plates are good but you can easily spend upwards of $ 20 with one side and a drink. I just can’t get into this place, but if you’re gonna do it anyway this location is the best by far.

First off… shaved ice machine next to the soda fountain. That should be all I need to say. The food here, as with all CCCs is delicious. It’s fresh, quick, and filling. The portion sizes are huge and could very easily be shared or split into 2 meals. I always plan on having leftovers. And that just makes things better because I know I can enjoy the food longer. There are really only 2 problems with this location. First: parking. The lot is VERY small and oddly shaped. Just to be safe, I’d suggest parking on the street. It’ll be quicker(& honestly probably safer). Secondly: it gets very loud in this location. They don’t have many sound dampeners so if there is a crowd, it’s going to be loud in there. Don’t plan on having any intimate meals with anyone. In closing… did I mention the shaved ice machine?
