Really good food, and a lot of unique dishes are offered. For instance, gemelli pasta with butternut squash, cherry peppers and sausage mixed the right amount of sweet and spicy. The standards are also great, try the eggplant involtini. The prices are right, The service attentive and professional, and the owners are always gracious in greeting their guests. The tables aren’t jammed together, adding to a more pleasant, and quieter, dining experience. The BYOB format makes it an even better value.

great for gluten free! I gave this the full 5 stars because my husband and I had a delightful meal here. I/we normally have to worry about ordering and then actually getting gluten free, they really pay attention here. we had a lovely meal with great food and especially good wine.

Fine Italian restaurant – not worth a long trip, but a very good area choice. Good salads, pastas and lamb. Typical desserts. Generous portions at reasonable prices – plus BYO! Very nice staff. Pleasant décor. Only negative was the noise level – this place is deservedly popular and there is nothing to absorb the noise. Best parking is in the back.

Went for dinner last night and found my absolute favorite Italian restaurant in the area! My husband and I came hungry(and we can eat) so we ordered a lot to share. We started with the rice balls and calamari which were good. In hindsight, we should have ordered something lighter to start with(their salads look beautiful) because the portions are quite large! The rice balls were very good-extremely rich and cheesy. The calamari was good, not chewy at all and came with a nice dipping sauce. I would only order calamari again if I came with a bigger group though as it was a huge portion and pretty filling. We then split the lasagna. This is hands down, the best lasagna I’ve ever had. The noodles are made in restaurant, the bolognese is so delicious and they use a different type of cheese that makes it so much creamier and decadent. You must order the lasagna! Then, because we have huge stomach capacities, we each got an entrée. I ordered the pistachio crusted salmon-it was divine. My husband got the healthier salmon preparation. We both tried each other’s and couldn’t decide which was better! We were fully impressed! By then, we were actually stuffed. Their homemade desserts looked amazing(especially the crepes) but I, unfortunately, could not eat anything else. I’ll be back and know better to save some room for dessert! The place is a BYOB and prices are pretty fair. The atmosphere is cute. It’s a small space with lots of tables but isn’t excessively loud-cute date night location. The servers are very attentive. We had Nolan as our server and he knew so much about each item and really seemed to enjoy his job which made our experience even more lovely. We will be back-hopefully super soon!

So we used to love this place… but the past few times have not been so great. I think we’re over it.

This was my second visit to Gregorio’s and I truly enjoyed everything about my experience. The food was delicious. The salads are terrific and there are plenty to choose from. The entrees and pastas are delicious, we had pappardelle pasta, chicken parm and salmon with pistachios. Everyone was pleased with their meals. The service was terrific. The server did not rush us and was always there when we needed him. The price point is a little higher than I am used to but it was worth it we will be back. Hint, make a reservation.

Tonight’s dining experience was a culinary roller coaster. I was lucky to win a $ 100 certificate from Chatham’s Downtown Alliance and Town & Country Properties. When calling and making my reservation, I spoke directly to the owner and told him how I won and that I could choose any business to use the $ and I chose his restaurant and was looking forward to dining there with my son and husband. When we were sat, I again introduced myself to the owner and expressed how happy we were to be there. Company, conversation, wine were exhilarating. Food… delicious. Then came the check… We handed the $ 160 bill back with the $ 100 check made out to Gregorio’s, plus our credit card. Our server looked confused, a co-worker even more perplexed. They then called the owner’s wife on the phone, and then were talking to the owner in the back. No one knew what to do. I went up to the front desk(owner still in the back) and explained that this was a check made out to them($ 100) and provided them Downtown Alliance President’s telephone number. The server proceeded to tell me the owner knew nothing of a donation and I should pay the bill in full and cash the check myself(BTW the check is payable to Gregorio’s). Again I explain that it is not a donation given from the restaurant but a check given TO them from another business in Chatham. 30 minutes later, I was asked for my driver’s license to have a copy made and the owner’s wife would then be calling me in the morning. The entire experience was highly insulting. I will never patronize Gregorio’s again. With many, many years in the restaurant business and more in catering, the first and biggest rule of thumb… the business problem NEVER becomes the customer’s. The lack of professionalism, from not being acknowledged from 4 staff members when we first walked in the door, to the owner yelling across the restaurant to someone else,“there is no such thing as Al Dente’ pasta”, until the end with the way our bill was handled, leaves me with nothing but doubt and disappointment no matter how good the kitchen presents itself. Gregorio’s needs to present itself as a whole. Nothing more, nothing less.

Recently had dinner here. Restaurant was selected by a friend because I have food allergies and this place boasts a gluten free menu. They were not very accomodating. Besides gluten, I also have a dairy and egg allergy. The chef would only offer me plain pasta as they said all other sauces were premade and would not do anything else for me. I understand that not all places are accomodating to patrons with allergies. But don’t label yourself as allergy friendly if your not willing to accommodate. To add insult to injury, I ordered a sorbet for dessert as that fit my food restrictions. The dessert was brought out with a cookie in the middle of it. When I sent it back staying that I could not eat something that had a cookie on it… I was told that they wouldn’t remake the dessert and to just eat around the cookie and they would take it off the bill.

I love this casual Italian restaurant right on Main Street in downtown Chatham. The dishes are well composed and cooked. Sauces frequently are served with meat or fish. Salads are refreshing. Desserts are very tasty. We choose this restaurant over all other Italian restaurants in this price range nearby. Never had a bad or even so-so meal here. FYI: the owner is the chef. That says it all.

Great restaurant with really solid food. This place always seems to be busy yet I have never had to wait a long time or seen a drop in food quality. Menu is quite extensive and the nightly specials are usually very attractive. Location is top notch as parking in downtown Chatham is not to hard. BYOB helps keep the cost down and the wait staff is more than happy to chill your wine and keep your glass topped off. Keep up the good work!

Just got off the plane and was craving food with Italian flavor but with a bit sophistication in the area. Went into this place for a to go order. The service was very welcoming and attentive. I had the butternut squash ravioli — perfect for fall. It was al dente, generous and tasty. The spinach salad was yummy. Dressing was perfect) The cheese and rice balls(arancini) were a bit rich for my west coast preference. They are popular menu item at quite a few local places in this area. Maybe a mushroom filling other than cheese? The place was busy for this quiet little town. I would go back again.

Nice location in the center of Chatham, like the byo aspect. Fish very fresh, light Italian with well presented dishes. Staff pleasant. Recommend!

This place is truly above and beyond any Italian restaurant I’ve ever been to. This is a gem and I am so glad I moved closer to this restaurant. I have had several dinners here and always gotten the risotto which is absolutely delicious. Love that it’s BYOB! We had our wedding celebration dinner here & also had catering for our wedding party here. Everything went so smoothly and Chef Gregorio even came to the supervisor to make sure the catered food was heated correctly. I have a gluten allergy and Chef Gregorio made me a special dish so I could eat(you know cause most brides starve themselves but not this one!). The homemade lasagna is really really good. Since I have the gluten allergy, this isn’t from first hand experience but from watching our wedding party devour the whole thing in the first hour.

Mediterranean Italian? Who gives a Shtt. Good food is good food and good Italian is a blessing. Service was attentive and polite. Food presentation is A+++ — all presentations were clean, modern, and artistic. And for the food. Everything was properly balanced, intense flavor, and executed with perfection. Must try dish is the tuna with parpadelle, eggplant caponata and red wine reduction. Will be back soon!!!

This place was excellent. My friends and I did a ‘girl’s night’ here and we all raved about the restaurant! The food was amazing — we ordered three different appetizers and the only one I could was just average was the calamari — nothing was wrong with it, but in comparison to our other apps it was good but not amazing. Our entrees were delicious .I highly recommend the pistachio crusted salmon over butternut squash risotto. We each got dessert so that we can try a bite from one another .the flourless chocolate cake with expresso chip ice cream was out of this world! All the other desserts were delicious too. The waitress was so kind and honest and they didn’t rush us out at all. We closed out the restaurant and they didn’t even come up to us with the check .we had to get them. They were so patient and kind. Best of all, it’s byob! Great place !

I need to unfortunately update my rating after we were accidentally overcharged and then we were overcharged hundreds of dollars more when we caught the error and they tried to reverse it. It took a while for everything to get fixed and didn’t receive an apology until we pressed for one. Too bad since the food is really good.

Clams Gratinate knocked my socks off and everyone at the table agreed. The rest of the food is good. Gnocchi«to go» as a left over, did not hold up well after refrigerated… had to throw out. carpaccio has less greens that cover the meat now and of course the garlicky sauce… a little better than before. I still I prefer lemon juice, Dijon and Parmesan on it.
