Chatham Moving & Storage

Terrible. I live down the street, maybe at most, half a mile away in a large townhome community. The receptionist acted as though I lived in another county and claimed no knowledge of said complex. I told my husband he can deal with them.
Fortunately, I called United Movers and we had two options. Chatham Moving and Storage never deigned to send us the promised email quote. We are moving from a rental into a 4 bed, 4 bath home we have owned for over a month, a whole six miles away. I certainly won’t beg for people to provide me with their services, and we are fine with paying more for a company with a better reputation, a more organized salesman (Chatham Moving told me to pack my own kitchen and 40 Riedel wine glasses– nope, we are totally gutting the kitchen in our new home and need to keep all china and glasses boxed up) — and we can afford to have them pack us, since we can afford a home in Morris Township. Lazy, lazy lazy. I was even told to go to Home Depot for moving boxes instead of buying from them– we will happily pay more for convenience. So glad I had the sense of mind to have another company lined up.

Great family owned moving and storage company. They are very friendly and helpful. Their facility is very clean and well up kept.

Coding chart. Took days to find where they put things that were clearly marked for other locations Broke very expensive items and took no responsibility for them even when it was their fault. Perhaps under new management as I had used them previously and none of this had happened?
