The Mustard Seed at Halla Nursery

I am sorry to say that the plants I bought at The Mustard Seed didn’t do well.
I bought annuals earlier this month.
I spent about $ 100 and honestly everything eventually died!
After 2 days I brought back in a hanging plant that had drooped. I was told that they do not guarantee annuals but just this time they would let me do exchange.
So I bought impatiens and basil thinking that was safe even though they were at a higher price then other nurseries!
Basil is dead and impatiens not thriving
I am not going back for sure.
Please consider this review also. there were 2 ladies to help. I don’t think I met the owner.

We stopped by this nursery to purchased some flowers and grab some ideas for the front landscaping of my father’s house. The first thing I noticed immediately was how large this place was. You could purchase almost any plant, in any variety, or color here. It’s organized but type and color so it makes it very easy to find what you’re looking for if it’s something specific.
Walking around here was like walking around a arboretum or garden. I can’t emphasize enough how absolutely beautiful it is here. They offer a landscaping planning service where they come to your home (for a fee) to help you plan your design as well as a free design at the store if you bring them a photo. They will help design a landscaping plan using their computer with your photo so you can see what it would look like.
Their garden store was really substantial as well. Lots of yard ornaments, stones, garden fairies, etc. Gorgeous garden center!

My wife and I have bought several plants from the mustard seed over the last few years. We had an issue with one of the varieties we bought and after talking with the owner Mark, he offered to replace them for us. My wife and I were very impressed with the conversations we had with Mark, as it is obvious he takes great pride in his business and wants the best for his customers.
We recommend The Mustard Seed for their huge selection and for the customer service that the owner provides his customers. Looking forward to continuing to do business with for many years to come!

I visited this nursery after buying a Living Social deal for Christmas tree. There were a lot of Fraser Firs to choose from, but if that wasn’t your cup of tea, there weren’t many other options. The garlands, the wreathes, and the other holiday décor was a little lacking in terms of options and the sales person mentioned that it was a slow morning so it didn’t seem like it was due to sell out. The reindeer were a nice touch, but Santa looked extremely bored and like he would like to be anywhere but there. Overall, it was kind of «meh».

The Mustard Seed provided top notch design and implementation for our yard. They stayed within our budget and developed a plan that was unique to our neighborhood and easy to maintain. We would highly recommend The Mustard Seed to any of our friends or family. You won’t be disappointed.
