Let me tell you about the love story that never was. I saw Taco Green Go on the list for Food Truck Friday and, as a lover of tacos, I immediately looked up Unilocal reviews of it and read the menu. I saw that the Carne Asada taco came highly recommended, so I was ready. We got to FTF and I ordered them quickly. I didn’t even care that it was $ 8 because I knew I was going to love it. I anxiously took my first bite and thought — «meh». I normally prefer flour tortillas over corn but it just didn’t fit to me. The beef was tough and hard to eat. Many of the pieces were fatty and one piece was so hard that it was inedible. I saved a bite for my boyfriend who loves steak and fatty pieces of meat and he agreed that it wasn’t very good. In summary, I wanted to love this place. Other people on Unilocal have clearly had great experiences and I wish I did too. I will skip over this place at future events.

Some tacos are good, some tacos are okay. These tacos are excellent … And there’s nothing quite as similar around town. I had the Carne Asada and Guava Chicken tacos. These are well worth the $ 8, as they come chock full of ingredients. High quality, well cooked meat. I’ll be back!

Just finishing up the ceviche and eyeballing my Key Lime macaroon. 4th time to the truck, something different each time, and all fresh and delicious. Jenny and her husband(senior moment) make it look easy. Love me some Green-Go…

Long line at food truck friday, but got my food in about 30 mins. I got the BBQ chicken taco & Jamaican jerk shrimp taco along with a mango Jarrito. All of the above= awesome.

What a nice surprise. Green-Gos can cook good Mexican food. Food truck Friday is becoming a nice outing for me and my family. First time noticing Taco Green-go so we had to try. I ordered my absolute favorite Mexican dish, tacos al pastor. It was a nice variation on the dish. Too many bells and whistles for my taste, but very passable. Sometimes simple is better in my opinion. We also got the ceviche which was excellent. Kudos to the food trucks, who in my opinion get a bad rap sometime.

Pretty good taco truck. I felt like it was a bit expensive, not sure if I want to pay $ 9 for two small tacos but the ingredients were nice and fresh. I had a steak bulgogi taco(I like the Korean influence.) And the Chicken Mole was delicious. I also tried the chicken quesadilla and it was pretty solid too. Not bad food when having a beer outside NODA brewing.
