I was disappointed at RTG on this Saturday morning visit before the Memorial Day holiday. The hubs had visited a couple weeks prior and noted the prices on a number of items. Lo and behold, today, the prices were increased. This was a disappointment. In addition, while perusing for a headboard, I noticed the majority of single items in the back of the store were sorely damaged. Why pay $ 150 for an item that will require another $ 50+ minimum to repair the holes and replace missing parts. When they first opened, RTG was our place to find furniture deals and many of the items in our home came from RTG at discounted prices with minimal damage. I did notice a couple nice bedroom sets and furniture pieces. Overall, it was a disappointing visit to RTG and I will not return for quite a while.

There is a lot of furniture under 1roof. Its like R2G pergatory. There is everything from piles of splinters being sold as if it were exotic, rare, splinters to boxed up, just arrived pieces. Its kind of like Replacements ltd. for furniture: if you’re looking for 1 – 3 chairs or a part of a sofa, you just hit paydirt. We drove & scored the single item we were looking for @ just under ½ price. Once you select & pay, the fun starts: picking it up. When we were there(it didn’t seem busy) I set my calendar to time the warehouse staff’s retreival. I could’ve walked in & carried my piece by myself through the store with a broken leg and stopped for 2 drink breaks and I still would’ve beat the guy(s) with the furniture dolley. Bottom line: I still saved $ 150.
