I wanted to buy a high def projector. HHGregg has the Epson 8350 that I wanted. 2 weeks ago I went in to buy it. They had none on stock although they had one on display. The customer rep said we can order it and I should have it in 7 – 10 days and he would personally call me as soon as it came in. I called at 7 days and they said they had not received it. I called at 12 days and they said it was in store. I drove to store at the 14th day and they said it has not come in yet. I told the manager I want a refund because I can get more guaranteed service from online providers which to his credit he did but I don’t see it reflected on my credit car yet. So we will see if this will be a more prolonged complication or not. It is really bad customer service to be selling an item on shelf that they cant deliver. The manager even tried to cover up by saying its a new item to which I said that’s bogus and I can prove it. He also said that 7 – 10 days is not guaranteed but he would not even commit to any other delivery schedule. SO I HAVETOWAITINDEFINITELY!!! One more not for the manager of the store: He said even Best Buy would not be able to commit or deliver. Best Buy had it for pick-up next day even though I bought it online and they did not have it in stock.

Good selection and prices. Sales people are helpful. Just tell them your just looking if you don’t want to be bothered. I’ve purchased a couple of TV’s and small appliances. As far as electronics, if you watch their sales, they rival online company prices. I’ve had a good experience when I purchased there.

Wow… this store is a last resort. We’ve been before when TV shopping and a salesman followed us into the parking lot trying to sell us a display model off the wall that had been running as display for 6 months or more. Feels kinda like a New York retail shark pen for appliances and electronics. This time, we(reluctantly) stopped in for a simple microwave for my elderly father-in-law. Once the salesman knew we were only looking for a $ 100–(minus) item, we were on our own. No help, no suggestions. There were about 5 customers in the store and(we counted) 15+ HHG employees. I carried the oven to the cashier kiosk, and ONE confused cashier had to finish a refund(took 10 – 15 minutes) ANDANSWERALLPHONES… while the other employees stood around and chatted among themselves. My wife wanted to walk out… it was so bad(the wait to check out while other emps just stood around while one harried confused newbie had to do all the work) I’ll eventually learn to by-pass this store even though they have selection. It’s just not worth the aggravation.
