I’ve been with this service since they took over Brinks(20 plus yr customer) On 12÷12÷15 I upgraded my alarm system. Long story short paid up front $ 148. now all long they have drafted my account monthly. Today I get a txt to call ADT my first thought was it concerning a service call scheduled on 2÷3÷16. NOT the case the person said I will transfer you to billing(unbeknown to me I was being tranfer to an out source COLLECTIONAGENCY) this person started yelling at my and saying she heard all about me, my responds was WHATAREYOUTALKINGABOUT… YOUAREPASTDUEONYOURADTBILL… I had to disconnect from this person before I would lose my religion. ITWASAWFULINTHEMANNERSHESPOKETOME! I then call back ADT and ask for a supervisor, Amy answered and apolozied and said that I do owe past payment, I still didn’t understand but agreed. Amy was very polite and said that their system wouldn’t take the two payments.(the check I gave the technician during installation and automatic deduction). therefore my account went to the COLLECTIONAGENCY. I called again this time I spoke with Tomeka in billing(ADT) and she pretty much said the same thing Amy said and that their system wouldn’t take 2 payments at the same time. All of this caused a SNOWBALLAFFECT… this has caused me stress unnecessarily by ADT. If I had not just paid to upgrade my system I WOULDCANCELNOW. ALLTHISSTRESSFOR $ 130.25 and Tomeka told me that they would draft that amount on 2÷2÷16. This is the very first negative review I have ever posted. I don’t usually post negative reviews because I always give a company an opportunity to fix the issue but today was the last and final attempt to get a resolve. I have never had such horrible service from any company. I was given a security system that is out dated and I have been told this multiple times by the representatives that works at ADT. They attempt to fix my issue and then they send out some sales guy that does not seem to understand the issue. It seems very obvious that this company has a serious disconnect between the service dept/sales dept and the installation. They don’t seem to talk at all. So with that being said my problem has still not been fixed and the service I have is slow and not what I requested. I would think twice before giving ADT a call for your business. I can’t speak for the residential but for the business side they have serious issue.
