I’ve been trying to work with this company for over a month now to try and get some insulation work completed. I am living in a Townhome and wanted to have some sound-proofing added to some interior walls. I had a few concerns if it was possible and asked a good many questions in the beginning. I finally decided to have the work done and sent the owner an email asking about a date and how long the work would take. After 3 days and no reply, I called him. While talking to him, he stated he had to reach out to another contractor about drywall work to confirm if they could do the work on the day I requested. He stated that he would reply to my email by the end of the day, but I never got a response. So I called him back 3 days later and while talking to him I asked if the«no-response» would be indicative of how it would be if I had issues after the work was complete. He went on to tell me that I have been the biggest«pain in his ass» and that I should find another contractor. With me about to pay almost $ 1,000 for some work to be completed, I would expect responses in a timely manner and not to be spoken to in the way he did. He also stated that this was a «small» job for him and that I was expecting him to drop everything and cater to my job. In actuality, I didn’t expect that, but I would want a service provider to make me feel like I was their top priority. That comes with paying almost $ 1,000 for work to be completed.
