The perch is outstanding. Somewhat of a limited menu. But the view is awesome. Try the sweet potato pbj fries for a real treat

Had such a great time there. Everyone is so friendly and the food was so fantastic we ate there twice in one day. Quality menu items too. The building itself is very nice too — cool details and history. Cheers!

Unfortunately very disappointing. Sat at the bar and was sold premium $ 12 margaritas only to discover halfway through(we couldn’t finish due to the taste) that the bartender knowingly didn’t have half the advertised ingredients(an organic sour w/agave and lime) but didn’t tell us. We mentioned that we wouldn’t have ordered the drinks had we known the ingredients weren’t available and he shrugged his shoulders and said they were busy last weekend and might have some later. I am sure the restaurant will find its feet soon but I’d recommend steering clear of the very green bar staff for a while, or stick with the beer, unless unadvertised $ 12 cups of store bought sour mix are your thing. In other news, the remodel is fantastic.

Thanks Press and crew for a terrific new boat accessible restraint on Lake Charlevoix. Service was outstanding, thanks Siera and Peaches. Servings more than ample. Fresh and hot everything. Andy Inc again did his magic.

What else can I say? Been coming here since I was 14(for the record… that wasn’t recent!) Pull your boat up, have a cold drink, listen to music on the water and the food has gotten so much better under the new management. Summer isn’t the same without a trip or ten to The Landing!

Best restaurant on the Lake! You can’t beat the view. New management is in place and providing better service. Take your boat and sip a «Heck Yeah» while enjoying Lake Charlevoix!

Great atmosphere, fun to sit outside on the water. Live music was also very nice. Service extremely friendly. Food excellent, had nachos as appetizer. Pulled pork for dinner and it was better than average but not fantastic. Same with fries. Friend had lobster roll and said it was amazing. if you have a boat, pull right up, have a few drinks and enjoy the night outside on the deck. I will definitely go back.

The Landing is as close to heaven as you can get: waterside, casual, super delish dining with friendly staff and fellow customers. Most recently, I enjoyed the heck out of the roasted chicken nachos, but have loved every other item I’ve ordered previously. Hanger steak, summer salad, and alllll the cocktails!(hiccup!) And the french fries are exceptional, as is the popcorn – which is totally addictive. Eating at The Landing feels like friends invited you over to hang out on their dock… a dock with gourmet yet accessible food and stellar service! Take your visiting friends for truly Up North meal.

So happy we docked the boat here! Sounds like they are under new management, and by the looks of the menu they are trying to step it up with something a bit more creative. The crab cakes were AWESOME. The amount of lump crab meat was crazy. These are a must. Three people at the table had them and they all raved. The sweet potato fries with«PB&J» were really good too. The peanut butter sauce on its own with the fries was a bit odd, but mixed with the smoked cherry jam — YUM. I guess that’s why they call it «PB&J.» For my meal I tried the Fried Green Tomato Salad — a mix of shaved brussel sprouts, kale, walnuts, a sweet vinaigrette — it was good, but not great. I would probably try something else next time. Just not sure all the flavors went together that well. Loved sitting in the waterfront patio listening to the live music. So relaxing and the perfect setting to watch the ferry cross.

We were here 4 times this summer including today. The food, service and ambience are really good and SO much better than the recent past. I have been going to this place in all of its incarnations for 50 years. My buddy and i used to sell them crayfish for a nickel each back in the day. Today, with a Petoskey Brewing beer, a burger and the excellent fries on the picnic table and Radio Margaritaville playing in the background we were pretty contented. We are more than happy to run 30 gallons of fuel through our boat to run down from Harbor Springs… That makes these $ 200 hamburgers in a way but we would not trade them… Thanks to the two guys who bought it and the staff that gets it done.

The location/view alone deserves 5 stars, but the food, fortunately is worthy of 5 stars as well! Everyone enjoyed what they ordered(perch, crab, burgers…) and agreed this was a place we should have come to much sooner in our trip to Charlevoix. Although I did not have the burger, the waitress said it was a 50⁄50 combination of beef and bacon, reminding me of one of my most favorite restaurants in Southern California, Slaters 50⁄50! I will have to try The Landings version next time, as I do plan on returning on my next trip to Charlevoix… Well done, Landings!

Went here for lunch yesterday and thought it was great! My favorite items that we tried were the ice cream sandwich(it was amazing) and the grilled shrimp app. Those two dishes and the fact they had live music during the day gave this place four stars for me. I had the Fish and Chips for entrée, but wasn’t the best or worst I’ve ever tasted.

A fun little spot on the lake for a summer meal or drink with family or friends. The fried perch and fries were good.

This place is so much better than it used to be. Before the management shifted, the food here was almost inedible. Now, the food is really great; among the best in the area. A great place to bring your boat if you have one, and eat on the dock. Ignore the menu on the website; their real menu is completely different. That must be the old one. Get the nachos, seriously. Not slathered in cheddar like most nachos, these have a really good queso fresco, and great chicken.

New management has stepped in and The Landings is back in 2013! They’ve prettied the place up a bit and bumped the menu up a notch. It still comes in a basket but the menu is more interesting now, and the food is quite tasty! Absolutely worth a visit.

This is not closed as they found new owners for this 2013 season. The food is fine and our group liked the lobster rolls, Brie panini and pulled pork sandwich. Great view

Food was pretty predictable, not many vegetarian options. Great location. Super fun to get dinner with my extended family here. Occasionally I got a whiff of exhaust from the boats.

What a fun place to come to by boat! Helpful staff even come out to help you dock! On our first visit, my husband and I stopped for a drink and watched the ferry next door make continuous trips across the south arm of Lake Charlevoix. It was so cool that we decided to bring our teen boys back for lunch the next day. If what the front of their menu says is true, and they only have a hot plate, a crock-pot and a borrowed fryer, it’s pretty amazing how much food they can get out of that kitchen. The food was a little pricey, but decent, and it’s common to pay more at a restaurant you can boat to. My salad was fresh, and the kids enjoyed their pizza fingers and chicken fingers. Most of the food was simple, but tasty. If you’re out on Lake Charlevoix and you work up a hunger, take a break from the sun at the Landing in Ironton Cove.
