Kevin D. Doran was hired to install a HVAC unit. He performed 25% of the work before abandoning the job with excuses and promises to finish. To make matters worse, he never delivered equipment for the job to be complete so I view this as stealing property that I paid him for. Calls and emails have gone unanswered to the point of taking legal action against him.
This is one of those contractors you do not want in your home, whether he is working for himself or another company. Don’t buy into his charm and promotion that he worked on an episode of This Old House. Avoid this thief and con man.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH DORAN CONSULTING AND CONTRACTING. Kevin states that his company’s stands for superior customer service, unparralled professional and trust and integrity. IT A JOKE! ALL A SCAM!!! Take your money elsewhere. I had a air condition/​heating unit installed by Kevin in the summer time. He has to come and repaired the unit 5 times. It is now February and the unit is still not working properly leaving my home cold during the winter months. Because the unit is not working properly, I am forced to pay $ 300 a month in electric bills to help heat a 750 square foot condo! After repeated calls and emails, Kevin not only has not come back to repair the unit but he also HAS NOT RETURNED my calls or emails in regards to this LEMON HE INSTALLED. TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE.
