The Starbucks doubles as my office and my wake up before early-morning events it is centrally located between James Island and West Ashley; so you can grab a coffee and then hop on over downtown. Only thing that’s hard is parking and there is no drive-thru.

This is right next to the Greenway Trail! And I always get in and out pretty fast and it’s a comfortable space… people are always hanging out, reading, chatting with friends. It feels like a welcoming hang out space compared to some of the other Starbucks(like on International).

Yes, it’s a national chain, but this place has a local feel and a lot of great coffee choices. Everyone that works here is friendly and fast, and genuinely happy. They know your name and order after a few trips. There’s lots of tables in and outside, two couches and four comfy leather chairs. Plus, there’s a lot of good shopping in the same complex. Definitely one of my go to coffee shops in the area.

Love the employees here! They are kind and know you. They always ask how you’re doing and chat while still being super efficient!

I stopped into this Starbucks after barre class when I was pretty sure I was so tired from all that exercise that I might fall asleep on the drive home. The barista was quick making my peppermint mocha frappucino, which kept me awake and alert on my drive back to Summerville. This location was also full of people on laptops and studying so if you’re looking for somewhere to go in the evening, check this location out!

Drinks are always good! Service is great, just still hurt they wouldn’t give me my free birthday drink

Busy Starbucks. Fully understanding this, my simple iced red eye, was forgotten about. I stood watching people before and after me get their specialty drinks. One lady who had her drink for some time and was sitting in the seating area, knocked hers over and spilled it. They re-made hers before I got mine. When I asked about my drink I was answered with attitude. I expect a little more from Starbucks. I know this sounds petty, but a simple«I’m sorry your drink got over looked» would have worked, but instead I got«I know, its coming.» «What size was that? Did you need room for…» So obviously she didn’t know.

Great Starbucks. The only issue is parking, which is common among Starbucks parking lots, but this one is essentially in a strip mall so there is even less close parking. There is always the lot behind where Earth Fare is so that is a bonus. Staff is friendly and helpful, as Starbucks baristas tend to be, and are very efficient. The morning crowd is obviously busy but they are able to move through the line well – I’ve never had to wait very long to be helped. Decent amount of seating, but because of the location I consider it more of an in-and-out Starbucks. Bonus is that it’s on a strip with lots of other shops and stores if you’re looking to get stuff done!

I do wish there were more local coffee shops on James Island but for a Starbucks this is a good one. Lines can be rough in the morning but otherwise, they get your drinks right, have loads of seats inside and out, and are always happy behind the counter.

Standard Starbucks experience. There was an insanely long line on a late Saturday morning as we all finished yoga and were looking for our caffeine fix. The baristas, while not overly friendly, were certainly quick moving through the line. My coffee came out exactly as it should have. The fixins bar looked a touch messy, but with the traffic in the store it was to be expected. Comfy chairs for getting some work done or catching up with a friend.

Hands down the best Starbucks I’ve ever been too. The only downfall is limited parking. But they are fast, extremely friendly, and make the perfect drink.

Pretty standard for Starbucks, but none of these baristas go out of their way.

Went there yesterday because I needed to redeem gold card reward. Fast and friendly service. Lots of room inside. Wifi for free. Parking right outside as well as across the street. Barista was cool.

Not James Island but in West Ashley. Who knew? These guys are quick, friendly and know how to make a perfect latte. Oh of your aren’t already join The Starbucks gold card thingy. Really with it if you drink a lot of Starbucks. Did I mention you can pay with an app?!

This Starbucks is mediocre. The service is hit or miss. There is a guy who is fantastic, and I’m always happy to see him. Otherwise, the staff is not very friendly and often disinterested. I much prefer other Starbucks in the area. The drinks are fine, but they are missing the customer service connection!

My favorite Starbucks! The manager(Joe) is very nice! He knows Starbucks and Coffee! This rare Starbucks is one of a few hundred in the U.S. that has a Clover Machine! If you have yet to enjoy a Clover brewed coffee, you must give it a try! The aroma of coffee and espresso hits your nose as soon as you open the door. The staff is friendly and they remember their regulars! Best item of all, this Bux is fast!

This is the best Starbucks I’ve ever been to. It is definitely set up for studying, working or chatting with friends. It is really well laid out with about 6 two person tables and 3 four person tables. There are also 3 four person tables outside under a covering, so you could potentially sit out there, even when it is raining. In the middle there are two couches and 4 arm chairs available to sit in. The wifi isn’t that great here(or at any Starbucks really). I’ve heard that Starbucks is working with Google to improve the wifi signal. It is fine for basic internet browsing/email, but streaming music or video’s are kind of impossible, but for it being free, it works. This is good to know if you are going to try to do any kind of online learning, it will be hard to do. The staff has always been swift, accurate and kind each time I’ve ordered. The biggest complaint I have, which is really just me being picky, is that the A/C is always on full blast here. If you are susceptible to getting cold easily in air conditioned spaces, make sure to definitely bring a jacket to this Starbuck, otherwise you will freeze your ass off in here. Parking is usually available in the Earth Fare parking lot across the street, so park there if you can’t find a spot in front. Hours are pretty good. They are open 5:30am-10pm everyday, so this is a good place to study/work on a Sunday night when a lot of other places are closed. However, if you are in the Charleston area looking to study/work/hang out past 10pm, the Starbucks on International Blvd near the Convention Center and Airport is open until midnight.

Good Starbucks, they make the coffee just right and it’s fast. There’s no drive thru, so sometimes seating inside is a little packed. My skinny mocha today there was awesome. The staff members are very nice Plus, they’re open early, have a bathroom and it’s close to the West Ashley Greenway… Parking is kind of a drawback because the shopping center is busy and so is the side road. I always park at Earth Fare and walk over.

I really enjoy visiting this location of Starbucks because they seem to really be on their game here. The staff is always friendly, coffee is always hot, food is fresh(for frozen food that has been thawed and heated), and the atmosphere is very relaxed and laid back. Every visit I’ve made her the staff has been on point with a smile and greeting; offering fast service preparing that delicious Starbucks coffee. I just love the couches here as they are very comfortable to relax on and enjoy some coffee and conversation with a friend. Sometimes when this location gets busy it can be a pain to park(or even get out of a parking spot when leaving), tables fill up leaving nowhere to sit, and the line gets backed up. But this is pretty much the case with any Starbucks. To me the wait and pains are worth it for me to get a venti cup of delicious and hot bold coffee to fuel me through the day.
