I was lucky enough to walk out of my office building today and try Refuelers for the first time. It was so good that I saved their website so I can track them down in the future. I got a pork taco and chicken taco, and while the pork was fantastic and I would definitely order it again, the chicken was on another level — so flavorful and tender, truly a standout.

Tried this truck at Holy City and was slightly underwhelmed but that may be due to ordering the wrong thing. Got the chicken adobo on nachos. The sauce was decent but not as much flavor as I was hoping for with the chicken. Next time I want to try it over rice with the fried egg included.

Thank you for saving the night! There was not much to choose from when it came to food trucks at an event I recently attended, and vegetarian or pescetarian food is even harder to find. This truck was actually where I wound up after making a not so good choice first, and I’m glad I came here. I was not really in the mood for nachos, but this place made them delicious and fresh. They use wonderful ingredients and even substituted rice for meat. I would do this again, this is a good truck!

Cheesesteak was tasty but not at all what I was expecting. Chopped meat, drizzle of spicy mayo on a fluffy flatbread. It was on the smaller size and hard to eat because the bread is so puffed. Kind of a mess. I also got 2 lumpia which were full of meat but greasy; I ate 1 of my 2.

Hello Filipino food, nice to meet you! Damn I had some good food from here the other day while they were posted up at Jail Break. I wasn’t starving so I opted for a taco and some Lumpia to share. The Pork Sisig Taco was unreal plus it was huge. At first I thought $ 4 for a taco was a bit spendy but not when the taco is like a small burrito. It was filled with pork sisig, fresh white rice, veggies, cheese and a spicy sour crème sauce. Flavor combo level: Excellent! The Lumpia were 4 for $ 5 so I split an order with a friend so we could both try one pork and one beef. The sweet dipping sauce really balanced them out. I liked the pork better but my friend liked the beef. So much so that later in the evening, she went and ordered us another order of Lumpia to share before the event ended. Top notch food truck eats!

I tried Refueler’s for the first time at Jail Break 2014. Me and my husband are both Filipino-American and grew up on our mothers recipes, so we were intrigued to try Refueler’s version of chicken adobo. Their take on this traditional stew was very good! The chicken was moist, the flavors were good, the rice was cooked perfectly, and the addition of a boiled egg made this the perfect comfort food. We also ordered the beef lumpia(aka egg roll) which was perfectly golden brown, and was paired with a unique sweet and sour sauce. We were very full, and very satisfied! For those of you that have never tried Filipino food before, this is a great place to start!

You’ve got to follow these guys on Facebook so you can stalk them around the Charleston area. AMAZING Filipino food. The lumpia is just like my Filipino mother-in-law makes and the pancit is just like what I grew up eating out in the South Pacific. Also, if you like it a little spicy, try the Sisik(pork) on your pancit or rice.

The best food truck in Charleston, hands down. Their cheesesteak has crack in it I swear! When they have lumpia, give it a try … it is crispy but not greasy. If you get the chance, stop by… you won’t be sorry!

I searched out Refueler’s one day and I wasn’t disappointed! I had the juicy lucy burger(around $ 8), which was cooked well done and filled with a pocket of cheese. The bun was huge and fluffy. The lumpia I had were pork($ 4) and the dipping sauce complements them perfectly. I’ll try the lumpia next time as I am a huge fan of filipino food.

Delicious! I had no idea the food truck scene in the low country was so good! Tacos, cheese steak, lumpia, pancit(rice noodles with veggies), and lots of other good stuff to choose from. The pulled pork taco was perfectly seasoned and cooked which was just mind blowing good! The veggie pancit was amazing, though I would have liked more veggies with the massive amount of rice noodles. I wanted to try everything on the menu, this Filipino treasure is fabo!

If you truck it, they will come… Refueler’s serves up some great filipino food, and the crowds show up whenever they roll. Four different kinds of lumpia(pork, beef, cheese, and banana) is offered, pork is consistently good. The signature dish for Refueler’s is… the kc-135 fili-cheesesteak. A great play on the philly cheesesteak; tender beef on a sweet flatbread, covered with havarti cheese, served with garlic rice. It’s so good, you could be completely full and want to eat another… I could eat this every day! They also serve a juicy lucy burger, haven’t tried it but it looks interesting. Other menu items include adobo’s, pepper steak, sweet/sour chicken/shrimp, and a variety of tacos. Refueler’s has become our standard Friday lunch as they visit an area near the office. Visit their website to see the monthly calendar and review the menu. Highly recommend trying the fili cheesesteak if you catch them in your area, you’ll be a fan and follow them all over town.

Never knew that I loved Filipino food so much. The Shrimp pancit was a good choice for meatless Fridays during lent. The Fili Cheesesteak was amazing. They give generous portions and the prices are very reasonable, especially for the quality of food you’re getting. Don’t miss the Banana Lumpia either. One of my coworkers, who is Filipino, tried to describe the Banana Lumpia to me before I tried it. His eyes rolled into the back of his head, while talking about it. That right there should give you an idea of how good it is. This truck is definitely worth searching out.

Oh lumpia, how I’ve missed you since moving from California. A big fat thank you to Refueler’s for bringing this awesome Filipino treat to Charleston. I ate some other things that were also quite tasty but my brain pretty much shut down when I tasted the lumpia and I can not recall the rest of my meal. I believe there were noodles involved. However, let us get back to the matter at hand — LUMPIA! If you’ve never had it before it might not seem that impressive from the outside. It looks like a skinny egg roll. The taste totally blows any egg roll I’ve ever had out of the water. The veggie is good but the pork is where it’s at. Dip it in that delicious sauce and let your taste buds have a party in your face. Love it Utterly delicious Mmmmmmmm Party in your face I wish I had more All you need is lumpia
