If you’re looking for a tiki-bar feel on Lake Murray, this is it. Quarterdeck has an outdoor feel at the bar, tables right on the pier/dock and often a band or live musician. Table service is a little slow so you may want to plan on going to the bat for drinks. The breeze off the water is exceptional. Ample parking in the large, gravel lot shared by the marina and The Rusty Anchor.

I’ve been here a few times this year. The service is hit or miss depending on who you get, how many people are there and the size of your party. Every time I have been here they have run out of something. The food isn’t that great, but they have a new«fishbowl» drink. These are good, a bit expensive but good and as long as they haven’t run out, they put Swedish fish in them which is a really neat touch. I do love the location because you can’t beat live music on the water. I’d recommend getting dinner somewhere else and then come here for drinks and entertainment.

Worst food on the lake, horrible service. Our waitress only came by once in 50 minutes. We had to go to bar to get all of our drinks. I ordered the tacos based off of the waitress’s recommendation, I would not feed this junk to my dog. The lettuce was brown and the tomatoes looked rotten. It is like the management just doesn’t care or have any experience in the food industry. It could be such a nice place but it’s the same year after year… Bad food and bad management.
