Used this company to rekey our home. Locksmith arrived within two hours of my phone call. Extremely nice, licensed, and (most of all) gave me options for how to proceed based on my budget. Really great experience. Saw my locksmith at the store today and he asked how everything was working for me. I’m 100% satisfied and would absolutely use them again!

JB in Chapel Hill: Tim from circle city helped change all our locks in our home in chapel hill. We had to change our appt because of a delay in closing and they were very flexible. Tim even called to say he was going to be three minutes late which wasn’t really necessary (I am ok with a 10 min window). Tim was friendly and very knowledgeable about the locks in our home which was good to know that we have quality materials in our home. Will definitely use circle city again for any of our locksmith needs.

Wow. Fast and reliable. Bret was my service locksmith. He was relentless and very patient. He picked my lock and got me out of trouble.

I am a very happy customer.
I was so happy with their work that I asked them to come out and work on another lock. Tim was the locksmith. He quickly serviced another lock and made my key that opened the front door now opens both front and rear.

I wasn’t thinking clearly at the time and just called the first company that showed up on my google search results, but I’m happy with how it worked out! Tim was able to drive out right after I called. I didn’t think to ask for a quote over the phone either, and after I got back in to my place I was expecting to see a high price on the invoice. But of course, that didn’t happen and I thought the price was very fair. He was so friendly whereas my complex managers/​maintenance couldn’t be bothered to help. Thanks Tim!

Could not have asked for a better experience! They said 30 minutes, got there in 17! Tim was so nice, worked quickly and diligently, and got me back into my house in less than 5 minutes!!! These guys are great!

Lifesavers! Came back from out of town to find that I lost a part of my keys, including the ones to my home. I called these guys up and they were at my house in 15 minutes and got me into my home without any problems. Their prices are fair and exactly what they quote you on the phone. I hope this never happens to me again but if it does, I would call this company again!

Professional, efficient, and friendly. I was locked out my house at midnight in Chapel Hill and they came within 15 minutes. I wish I didn’t lock myself out in the first place, but these guys are a local father and son business and their price was fair.
Hopefully I’m not locked out again… but next time I know who to call.

I am new to the area and needed to have locks changed out in a new home. I had to rely on the Internet to find a locksmith. I chose this company because every review I read was so positive. Well now I know why every review was positive. They were right on time, courteous, did exactly the job they quoted, and I was very impressed with their friendly but professional manner. I was so impressed with this company. After locking myself out of my house. I have never used a locksmith so I googled and their name came up. I took my chances because the reviews were good. I am so glad I did. They were friendly, kind and they said they would be able to come in 30 minutes. I was thinking I wouldn’t be that lucky but I was. I was thoroughly impressed and they even made me an extra key for a small charge. I would highly recommend them!!!

Circle City Lock and Key was so helpful! I am a first grade teacher and needed some mis-​cut keys for one of my students’ projects… They graciously donated over 100 keys instead of recycling them! These guys were a life-​saver!

My car locked me out this morning — I called these guys. They came promptly in the time frame they said they would — they were VERY professional, and they opened my car quickly with no damage. It’s a very secure car — so I was more than please. Really nice guys. I highly recommend.

All my keys to my 2010 toyota Corolla were lost.(DON’T ASK!) And because of the another nature of the keys the dealership was asking $ 360 for 2 keys and I would have needed to tow the car to the dealership.
Calling around I found various prices for the key. Circle city came in at the best price at $ 200 for 2 keys. We set an appointment and they were on time and with minimum fuss he had me up and running again. Very courteous and professional. I’d highly recommend circle city.

First: I never write reviews. These guys are fantastic. They were exactly on time. Excellent workmanship; even fixed a separate issue on the front door lock that I had learned to ‘live’ with. Explained everything to me.
Added plus: Prior military.
Will only go with them for any other lock related work.

I was told up front how much it would cost ($ 60) to unlock my car, which I appreciated, so I could make a decision. But really, what choice did I have? But they were there in less than 10 minutes and started working on my car. It’s a sort of unique old car (1992 Honda Civic VX Hatch), and it didn’t want to open up, but they kept at it and got the job done. Both men were very pleasant and polite. I would definitely call them again.
