Nova Installations

We replaced half of our windows in January with Nova Installations. Our previous windows were builder grade, 18 years old and very difficult to open. We obtained quotes from Nova Installations and another reputable company but Nova Installations’ quote was more affordable so we went with them. The whole process was very smooth, from them taking measurements to the actual installation (in the very cold month of January). While we impressed after they were installed, I was prompted to write this review today as my husband and I were discussing how much of a difference the windows have made in our household energy efficiency. Even though we only did half the house, this summer the rooms with new windows were noticeably cooler and we’re keeping the thermostat about 2 degrees lower this fall/​winter with the cold weather. I’m always cold so this is really remarkable for me. We plan to do the rest soon and we will definitely go with Nova Installations!

Just like others have said, the owner showed up to commence installation and to guarantee satisfaction. With customer service being virtually extinct now, this co. stands out like no other in terms of old fashioned excellent customer service. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Every staff member I met was friendly, competent, and extremely professional. Hard to believe you could go wrong choosing them.

NOVA Installations installed a new exterior entry door and storm door for me. There were also side window panels and the transom over the door needed to be replaced and insulated. I LOVE my new doors. Both doors are beautiful and the storm door is quite heavy and secure. What a difference! Art Dunn was a pleasure to work with to provide options, price and coordinate the job. Since it was a bit of a tricky job (these buildings are 70 years old) Art had the installer, Terry, come out prior to the installation to make sure there wouldn’t be any hiccups. I’ve used Nova Installations for skylight and window replacements on my own home and window replacement on my mothers home. I’ve been happy in all cases with the quality of the windows, reasonable price, and service from the installers. Nova Installations is a small company with small company values. That is, getting it right is the prime goal.
I certainly will consider Nova Installations for any future roofing or door replacements.

We originally found NOVA Installations for replacement windows through high ratings in Washington Consumer Checkbook magazine 20 years ago. We have used them in that home and our next home for window replacement, a new roof, and doors. I recommend them highly as each experience has been ideal, and a reasonable price as we got multiple estimates each time. Our rep has always been Art Dunn. I love a laid back, knowledgeable, no b****t person and that’s Art. They carry several lines of window manufacturers and can educate you on the differences. Even once we need them to come back to check/​fix part of the replaced roof 3 years later, Art came himself and took care of the work. Consider them when getting quotes and you will be glad you did.
