The best quality crabs, crab legs and shrimp I’ve ever had! No need to drive to DC to pay the same amount for less quality seafood. The shrimp and crab legs are large and sweet. You can call ahead to have your order ready or you can see every order being steamed fresh. Remember they can run out of crabs as they are cooked daily.

Ordered crab legs and steamed crabs from here. Great that we don’t have to drive towards DC but quality of crabs weren’t great. They were small and didn’t have much meat.
Kind of expensive for what you get. I guess if you have an extreme craving and feeling insanely lazy, order from here. Btw, it’s cash only and call ahead to place your order so you don’t have to wait.

Excellent shrimp. The place may scare a lot of people away because it is on the side of the road. Do not let that happen though. This place is very good.

Perfect seafood every time. I can’t help myself, I have to stop whenever I am in the area. They will run out of certain things so call ahead or don’t complain you were not warned. The prices are not especially good but average and the seafood is excellent. I have had equally good seafood at much higher prices but never any better. I have watched and they do nothing but steam and use Old Bay so it must be the quality of the seafood that makes it so good. The crab legs in particular I have never had any over or under cooked, the meat comes out easily and is just so sweet.

This particular crab shack is only available on the weekends, but very convenient to have around if you’re in the mood for some seafood without having to go all the way to the DC wharf if you live in the ‘burbs like I do.
Items Offered: steamed crabs (only male), steamed shrimp, steamed crab legs
Price: Reasonably and affordably priced.
Tip: Call ahead to inquire about what they have on hand that day and also so you can put in your order ahead of time before pick-​up.

Best take home crabs in this area! My husband and I grew up eating blue crabs in this area and would frequent Quarterdeck in Arlington or drive out to Cantons in Maryland and now we never go far for crabs. They have huge steamed shrimp, blue crabs, snow crab legs… etc. the prices are better than the wharf or any local crab place around. Joe is awesome. They are open Thursday to Sunday during crab season.

Visited this place last weekend. We had 2 dozen huge shrimp which were fantastic. I also ordered 1 piece of corn and the others were jealous. I will be going back to try the crab. The service was fast and the guys were very friendly.

Best crabs in Loudoun County — great service, perfectly seasoned /​steamed — call ahead so your order is ready to rock. Very reasonable prices, thrilled to have these guys in our back yard.
