Granite Source Inc

I called several places and decided to go with Granite Source because of the price and the great customer service. I paid $ 2100 for 51 sq.ft., which also included removal/​disposal of my pre-​existing formica countertop. It also included the backsplash and a nice basin. The uba tuba countertop was $ 29 a square foot. I saved money by: 1) buying my own soap dispenser and faucet, 2) having my dad disconnect and reconnect the plumbing, which is pretty easy to do. Hannah Eldredge was amazing. She only needed the specs for the items I bought and had the granite drilled for me. She also gave me a granite cutting board since I wanted to keep the basin cutout. The whole process took one week. Communication was excellent. Estimate, delivery and installation were right on time and very professional. I was a pain in the butt because I had a ton of questions and wanted an itemization of everything in order to see where I could save money. Hannah was so patient and nice; I definitely recommend her!

Dear Mr. Draper,
I am so delighted that I finally get a direct communication from you although it was on a comment from my review. You have never tried to contact me directly. I wanted to address your comment on your willingness to remedy the situation which is false. Yes, you did agree to replace the 4′ long by 4″ backsplash because your company knowingly installed damaged material.
As far as the offer to replace the fireplace ledge at cost this is new to me.
This was never expressed or communicated to me by you or anyone else at your company. Your comment also states that I informed you in months, in actuality it was within two weeks. The fact remains that you did not stand behind your work and implied that I wanted your company to replace material that I damaged which is false. Yes I did report your company to DPOR and yes no consequences were given as you did not «break any building code» and they did not deal with moral
and ethical practices. Bottom line is your staff knowingly installed damaged materials and I will not take down this review as it is based on true personal experience.

They swoon you with niceness. Beware… then they make an error (s) and all the care they portrayed is gone. They do not care about the customer but only until they get their money they care. They cut the wrong edge and size on my project. So many others companies to choose from and to top it off they were one of the expensive quotes! So much to you get what you pay for! Run to another fabricator.
