DeBaggio’s is a fabulous nursery for buying herbs, vegetables, and berry bushes as well as ornamental plants. All of my plants purchased from here are hardy and thriving. The staff is knowledgeable and refer you to wonderful sources when applicable. Parking is a breeze with a gravel lot and plenty of room. Be sure to look at their online or print catalog to appreciate the full breadth of what they have. If you have your heart set on a certain cultivar, be sure to get there early in the growing season or call ahead for availability. Once they are out, their out for the season.

If you like to support cute little local nurseries rather than getting your plants from Home Depot don’t miss this place. Family owned for more than 30 years I think, the original debaggio gentleman that started this farm actually developed some of his own varieties of herbs. So if you love to grow herbs this is the place to come –many varieties of basil, Rosemary, thyme & on & on. They have a ton of different varieties of one of my favorite plants– the scented geranium. Also lots of different tomatoes, peppers, etc. They also have a small but cute selection of flowering annuals and perennials, pots & other gardening supplies. Only open from April-July so don’t miss it! Also very easy to find, 3 minutes off route 50 by sheetz.

I’m glad to see that even with all the townhouse spring up around this little Nursery that they are able to stay open. Have a great selection of herbs and plants to choose from. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Well worth doing a little bit of driving about to find them.

Just picked up more tomatoes, peppers, and herbs. The varietals that they offer are outstanding; the quality is top of the line. I’m so glad they opened again for the season! Check them out before they close again 1 July 2011.

The quality and variety of the plants are outstanding. I always have a hard time picking because everything looks so interesting and I only have so much garden space. The website is down and with the sad news of Tom’s passing, Im wondering if they will open this spring? I would be incredibly sad if we lost both the man and the nursery
