Applebee’s

I really enjoy going to Applebee’s. The service is always prompt and professional. We usually take the family for the 2for 25 with appetizer. It’s a great deal. My family really enjoys the steak topped with shrimp and parmesan cheese. I’m pretty picky when it comes to eggs and steak. I will say the cooks are sometimes inexperienced especially at the Chanhassen location. They don’t seem to know true temperature and our steaks ordered Med. Rare have came out almost well on more than one location. Still for a chain restaurant and the value, I think it’s really good food. Where else can a family of 4 eat steak with two appetizers for $ 100.

Service is so slow!!! Getting our drinks was f@%@@ slow. After waiting 30 minutes Then the wait staff says” they are waay behind in the kitchen”. Got 2 – 3 dishes. Lukewarm. Paid bill. Staff person Assumed the remaining amount was theirs. Fuck No…
Never again.

Food cold, not cooked properly. Order well done on 2 burgers and got medium. Plate dirty on edge. Gross

came here late one evening for dinner. it was super packed inside but were told that it would be a 15+ minute wait which isn’t so bad. we ended up getting seated pretty fast which i thought was rather impressive. our waitress seemed to be very comfortable with the busy environment and knowledgeable about the food yet jumped table to table like crazy. we had ordered off their new «healthy» menu. i had ordered the savory cedar salmon. what i got was pretty good (taste and presentation) but what my husband got lacked presentation as it didn’t look anything like what it did on the menu. it was almost unidentifiable. he had ordered the pepper crusted sirloin and whole grains. not only that but it was tiny. let’s just say that it was so tiny that the entire meal hardly covered a quarter of the plate. good thing i ordered a salad to eat first so we were both picking on it or else we would’ve had to order more food or go somewhere else although it would be hard since it was pretty late at night. wouldn’t mind coming back here since this is the closest place to us now but just we keep on forgetting that this place is here.

I won’t be coming back to this location. My last 2 times have been not up to par. As someone who works in restaurants it’s very bad etiquette to greet someone and lead them to a table and walk away without saying something as simple as «your server MINDY* will be here shortly» because nothing was said and I sat there for 12 minutes without knowing if I had a server for my table/​section at all. People on a warm mn day should at least be greeted by the appropriate server within 30 seconds to 1 minute and a drink order should be taken. Or even better show up with water if it’s going to take longer for you to greet them.

Tired and hungry for dinner after driving all day, we wanted food. But, alas, everything in Minnesota is closed after 10 EXCEPT your trusty, old friend: Applebee’s. Sangria, beer, wings, two delicious entrees and you’re set for a good night sleep. Shoutout to Alex, our awesome server. I hope the Red Sox do well for you. Love, your east coast patrons. Xo

The waitress was very friendly and great. The service was wonderful and the food is delicious. I ordered mozzarella sticks and a raspberry iced tea for a great price.

The service here is terrible. Once we got our food our waitress finally cared. The buser/​hostess is rude and not very competent. It took a while to get a table because she didn’t know what she was doing, not because it was busy because it wasn’t busy at all. Food was decent but the service puts a damper on everything. I only gave three stars because at least when we got our food it was good and we were hungry. Service 0 stars.

Okay when you guys didn’t come through on the gift certificate a year ago for a crappy meal I let it go. Your manager gave me some line of BS about you only send them out every fee months. What?
Tonight I got curbside to go. A burger with fruit and a side salad. The cup the fruit came in was twice the volume of the fruit in it. On top of that it looked like something left over from a table at the bar.

Two maraschino cherries.
Two cherry sized pieces of Apple.
One MOLDY strawberry.
One dried up chunk of orange (mostly rind)
My curbside waiter was GREAT and he’s the only reason I’m giving two stars.

I really like this place. The staff is friendly and always attentive. We dine here frequently. Love their quesadilla burger! And Tina is definitely our favorite server! The only thing I am not a fan of is the parking lot! It shares a parking lot with Buffalo Wild Wings and Chipotle, so, at dinner time, it always feels like a bee hive with cars circling trying to find somewhere to land.

Every time I go back thinking it will be better, but it never is. Service was terrible, never got a refill or even had the chance to ask the server for one. Took forever for the food to come out and when it did it was cold. Asked another server (couldn’t hardly find ours) to speak to the manager but one never came by. This will definitely be the last time coming here. Save your time and money.

They’ve made some menu changes recently that I am a pretty big fan of. Two new vegetarian friendly apps that are very tasty. I especially love the fried green beans. They have Newcastle on tap at this location, always a good selling point for me. The waitstaff is friendly without being overly so. And service is almost always prompt here. It’s become a favored spot to go for a quick snack and drink after work.

My experiences are mainly for happy hour. My family comes very frequently, so much so that the waitresses know our names. Whenever we come a few waitresses stop over and ask how we are doing, they are VERY nice and make you feel welcome. The best waitress is Serena. She gives the best service I have ever received from a waitress. She gets the orders in quickly, always notices when a drink needs to be refilled, and doesn’t waste any time with the bill. If she is working we request to be in her section. The food is great, at an even better price, and the waitresses are fantastic. Doesn’t get much better!

It was fine. Missing the guac, but chicken tacos were good.
