Talbots

When I first started shopping at Talbots about 5 years ago, I noticed that their clothing line was geared towards a much older generation and I haven’t gone back until just recently. Their clothes are now starting to have a more classy look and I’ve had a lot more compliments wearing their line.
One thing I’ve found out is their sales are incredible! You can get some really great buys and it won’t hurt your pocket book too bad. One thing good about their return policy is that they don’t have to be returned within 30 days like most of the other department stores. I’ve returned things up to 2 months without any questions. But by then, they’ve gone on sale and I just re-​buy it at the sales price. There’s even been a time when the item I purchased on the «Red» phone went 40% off, but then 4 days later they had an additional 40% off. I called the credit department and was given the additional 40% off.
Hint: Get a Talbots card. If you spend $ 500 (I think that’s the amount), they will send you a $ 25 gift certificate towards your next purchase (it can be used on sale items too). If you happen to misplace your gift certificate, the sales rep can pull it up and you can use on your next purchase.
Customer Service is their top priority. I’ve never had a bad experience shopping here or any Talbots.
This is not a very large Talbot’s. But what you can’t find here, have them check their computer system. Here’s a tip… if they find your items at more than one location, your total shipping for all your purchases is only $ 6.00, even if it’s coming from multiple locations. There’s also a «Red» phone at each Talbot’s and it’s only $ 6.00 for shipping, no matter how much it weighs. If you order on-​line (
), that purchase is by weight so shipping is much higher.
