Staybridge Suites Phoenix – Chandler

We stayed here to twice, gave it a second chance, but it was bad. We arrived after eight hours driving and the hotel did not have a cart to carry our suitcases, the desk employee started looking all over the hotel, so we decided to carry our staff up to the room. I am disabled so it was not easy, being seniors, anyway, the bed was like a rock, bad pillows, the pillow case with stains. The bathroom and the elevator had water in the floor. The night stand were practically on top of the mattress with sharp edges, we had to put pillows on both ends to avoid any accident.
The tub in the bathroom did not have any paint, or rubber carpet to avoid slippery and it was taller than usual, the TV on the side of the bed, practically on top of us very uncomfortable so we could not watch TV. At five in the morning the air conditioner reset somehow waking us up with a roaring sound. This place is an accident waiting to happen.
On top of it when we checked out the lady was not very nice guess she did not liked that when she asked how was our stay we said äwful”, and she did not honored our triple AA discount or senior discount anything which I will complain to triple AA, saying with that rate you cannot have it, we just booked at the normal rate that appeared in the website, so this was not specified, I will complain to triple AA.
The breakfast was not bad, like normal except the sausage were the spicy hones for breakfast? really people? Anyway awful experience no matter how you look at it.

We stayed here recently and loved it! The location is close to the mall, tons of restaurants and the highway. The hotel, including our room, was very clean and tidy. The décor was modern and trendy. The breakfast was great and had a bunch of options. We will stay here again!

This hotel is fantastic and we really enjoyed our stay here. Our room was new and clean. The kitchen was very updated and included a full size refrigerator. They offer free hot breakfast in the morning and I think they offer an evening reception as well for free. I remember the receptionist telling me about Nachos night. We never participated in the evening receptions but their breakfast was good even though the choices were limited. Really can’t complain about free!
We opted not to have room service every day and ran out of bath towels. We called down to the receptionist and requested for some clean bath towels. They came to deliver us towels within 10 minutes. Great service!
Pros:

close to Walmart (less than 0.5 miles) and restaurants
close to Circle K gas station (great for when you need to fill up your rental car before having to return it the next day)
Cons:
We didnt realize our room was located right next to the pool and fire pit. If you want peace and quiet at night, I recommend requesting to stay far from this community area
No dining table to sit and eat in the king studio rooms
We would definitely stay here again!

In January, I needed to be in Chandler for a few days and chose this place. In April, I needed to be in Mesa and I came back. I have to be back in Mesa in a few weeks and I know I’ll come back.

Free breakfast: eggs aren’t anything special but you can make your own waffles. They are big and very good. They also have a pantry for sundries but also for food you could warm up in your room’s microwave.
Rooms: I’ve stayed in two different styles/​shapes/​sizes. For two queens, these were in a different room from the kitchen, TV, couch and desk. Not much walking room in the bedroom but enough. For one king it was in the same room. More than enough room to walk around but the kitchen was smaller and their was no bar
Bathroom: don’t remember a difference with the room types. One sink vanity and a decent size shower. Plenty of hot water and pressure and an adjustable head.

Very nice hotel. The room is clean and pretty. All the rooms have a little kitchen with a full size refrigerator and a dishwasher and all the utensils and dishes you need.
Breakfast in the morning is a great deal as well.
