I’ve been bringing my daughter here since she was 18 mos old. She’s five now. I love the atmosphere and kid-friendliness. The stylists really try to put the kids at ease. My daughter loves coming here and is no longer afraid of haircuts. Given that she’s living la vida loca on the autism spectrum, that’s saying something!

I called to see if they take appointments, the girl said«no». Which is totally fine. She then informed me that the wait was currently two hours but I could come put my child’s name on the list and go do something for 2 hours. So I asked if I could just put his name on the list over the phone(since it’s 20 minutes from our house and I also have a very young infant)… She said no, that I would have to come in… So you want me to drive there just to put him on the list? Totally stupid. If you’re concerned with no-shows, ask for a deposit. Don’t ask busy parents to waste their time. Very bad idea in their part. I’m sure I’m not the only parent who decided go elsewhere.

I brought my daughter in for a hair cut before school started and was able to get in right away without an appointment. She has curly long hair, but I really just wanted 1 – 2 inches off because the ends were dry and damaged. We saw Lina. I was concerned she might not be comfortable with curly hair but she assured me she was. The cut was super fast, and she braided a small portion and added glitter. My daughter loved it. Overall, the experience was ok. Nothing super special. But I feel like the price is a little steep($ 20). It was a Monday, and the place I wanted to take her to was closed(about $ 5 cheaper) so we ended up here. I might bring her back. But first I’ll try another place just to compare.

I believe some of the stylists do a really great job, but you never know who you are going to end up with. For a boys cut it takes about 5 minutes but still costs $ 18. I see why it is extra for the atmosphere but the kids will quickly outgrow the toys/movies.

Great atmosphere for kids, and the place was clean and organized. We had no wait, and the front desk was polite and friendly. The stylist, Pauline, was amazing. She knew how to engage my son so he didn’t get bored or squirm. She did a great job, and styled him exactly as we requested. They made his first haircut a memorable experience!

The ladies here are awesome and always do a great job. My 1 year old doesn’t like his hair cut. He just threw a fit and LaShawndra did such a good job on him. She was so nice even though it was a difficult situation.

We have been going to Snip-Its for the last few years, and love it! My daughter had her first haircut here, and always begs to go back. Her hair is curly, so we usually do a shampoo, trim and layers — We have had probably four different stylists, and they all have been wonderful with her. It can be a little pricey, but we are satisfied every time with the work.

$ 18.00, 2 hours later and a fussy 2 year old! Thank you Snip-It’s! Great concept that fails to deliver! Run away

Save yourself some money and time — do not go there. They take literally 5 minutes to cut kids hair and if you point to them that hair line is not even they tell you«its just a curl». Horrible service, pretty expensive for the quality provided, awful experience.

We are new to Arizona it is way hotter than California so I decided to get my son’s hair cut. I have no idea about hair places in Arizona so I check out Unilocal and Found Snip-its. We walked in and my son was playing with the train table we wait about 3 minutes then we were called to the station. Vicki did an Amazon job with my son I didn’t know what kid of cut I wanted but she seemed to know what I wanted. I will be back here for sure love This place.

The hair stylist was great, staff was courteous, location was very clean, no bug concerns. I came on a really busy weekend, apparently it’s little kid graduation week so the wait was really long. The staff did their best to keep us aware of the wait time and get us in on time when we got back. I just wish they took appointments! I’ll be back but I will try a week day appointment. Weekends are busy. Or the other option is to check in and run errands and come back.

We took our grandson here for his first haircut on a Friday afternoon. The shop was not busy at all at this time and we were in and out in about 30 minutes or less. The woman who cut his hair was very good with him(he’s only 10 months old) and did a great little haircut on him — he looks adorable. Since it was his first haircut we bought the package that included his picture with a certificate and a lock of his hair. We will definitely go back.

Perfect for the little kids’ haircuts Our baby girl had her first birthday and we had to get her first haircut to match. Found Snip-Its as the top rated place around for children. Ended up getting our 6 year-old’s hair done, as well. Place is designed for kids with a fun setting and rewards for when they are done. Our little girl was not a fan of the haircut concept, but the stylist handled it perfectly. As for our big girl… Well, she said she still likes to get her nails and pedis done at the spa with Mommy, but liked this place for her hair. That’s high praise from a first-grader.

Took my daughter here for her first haircut. It was great! They took her pic, saved her hair and made a certificate. And she not only sat still the whole time, she was so relaxed she almost fell asleep! Will definately be back.

My daughter always gets excited when it is time to go to Snip-Its. In the past, she loved the stories. Now, she enjoys playing the games. I like having entertainment that is not just watching movies or playing Playstation. The Snip-Its themed characters, shows, and games feel more meaningful. We bought the first haircut package — twice. Although I could do without the candy — getting a bow, lollipop, and special prize at the end of the haircut is great. The kids get a card to push it into a slot at the front desk and a prize pops out. Can I get my haircut here? We use the hair care products. The Knot Gene is a life saver. We just got a mini gene to supplement the full gene. The shampoo and conditioner seem to have less harmful chemicals than the grocery store products. My daughter has always loved getting her hair cut.

So I decided to give them one more chance and brought my son this time. Worst haircut ever –see photo posted. It looks like his 4 year old sister took a pair of safety scissors to his head. It looked passable when we left as it was wet but oh Jesus — freakin — Christ when it dried it was awful and it cannot be fixed –unless you shave it– until it grows out. Thanks for screwing up my sons hair just in time for holiday parties and photographs. FAIL.

The stylist was nice to my little girl and that’s all that really matters. $ 18 for a kids hair cut is a little pricey, but they get your kid to stay still, so they can cut their hair straight. The atmosphere is good not as nice as Cool Cut’s. SnipIt’s makes your kid watch some dumb video about Snipit’s I thought that was kind of weird. They do mani and pedi for kids too… I’m going to try that out sometime. Otherwise I think I’ll probably stick to Cool Cuts

My daughter attended a birthday party at this place. It was so cool! Ten little girls getting dressed up like rock stars and princesses, fancy hair styles and learning to apply makeup. After they were all dolled up, they walk down a red carpet and were introduced on microphone for their first ever cat walk. They were so cute and excited the entire time. The goodie bags include all the makeup they got to put on and a craft made during the party. The only reason it got four out of five stars is because the room for the party is really really tiny, and there’s very little space for parents to sit and watch.

This place is always great with kids. My son hates having his haircut. HATESIT. He hates even having his hair touched. I was really apprehensive about bringing him here, but he said he wanted a mohawk, so we went. Well, he took scissors to his mohawk just so he could go back here. To bad hes bald now, because he cut a little close. It is going to be a while before we can go back. Thank you Snip-its, I think… You got my son over his fear of haircuts. Good price for what you do. I have never seen a kid leave this place sad.
