I was sitting outside waiting for a near by store to open as I notice one of the guys who works at the salon walk out side and pick out nail files from the trash can to reuse them, And then walks back in the salon and hands them to one of his coworkers. A lady getting her nails done made eye contact with me from the outside window in shock as to what happen. do not go to this place.

Worst customer service and horrible quality I’ve never had my nails look so bad and that’s besides the fact that he nipped my skin about 6 times hurt so badly and would just keep going NEVER WILL I RETURN

Love this shop! They do an amazing job every time. They have a new girl on the weekends and they keep a close eye on her to make sure she is keeping up with the service level.

Jimmy’s Nails takes good care of me every time. I am really picky and OCD about my nails and jimmy listens and does my nails according to how I request them. I can be a little high maintenance with my nails but he never lets me leave without liking them. I am here regularly because they take care of me.

I have returned to the east valley and I have returned to Jimmy nail spa, I always have fast service now. The lady who used to work there no longer does. The whole staff is now fast and great at quality work.

First time experimenting here.
I had the older gentleman work on my nails, I came in for a fill and color change. So he starts working on my nails. Turns out that I stopped him because ALL my nails are cricked. I did NOT come in here like this, and nor was I going to leave like that. I kept explaining to him my nails are cricked. He repeatedly said «oh no your nail come like that» my nails didn’t come like that I told him. He was very rude about it and raised his voice. I will NEVER go back to this place. Btw, the lack of nail polish colors suck. It’s very small, dirty, and they are so rude! Never again!

you get what you pay for.
went to get a simple full set but did not like them at all…
usually i don’t write reviews but i had to for this place so i can warn other not to go here. nails are lumpy, not painted right. the side of my nail is not painted, also the space between my real nail and fake nail there is a space between which make the nail to break off easier… and he left nail glue all over our fingers.
Also both me and my cousin both got cut, she got cut badly.
Do not come here unless you want your nails to look like its someone doing their job for the very first time.

Thought I’d give this salon a try after finding a coupon in the mail. I will not be returning. I got acrylics and the man who did them did a poor job. The staff was friendly, but the nails were horrific. I had to point out an area on one of my nails were he completely missed filling with acrylic. Didn’t file underneath the nail, didn’t request I scrub my nails before putting on clear coat, the acrylic is uneven and bubbling. Took me about 20 minutes at home to fix everything. Not worth the $ 20 coupon price. You get what you pay for with this place.

The one thing they have going for them is that they are inexpensive and you really get what you pay for. It’s not in my budget to pay for the expensive brow waxing job I used to get. How I miss my Nina who had amazing customer service, but then, what would I expect? Instead of the $ 27 to get my brows up and upper lip done, it’s $ 10 here at Jimmy’s.
I was desperate to get my brows done after not having them done for a long time. Brows are $ 6 and upper lip $ 4. What a deal right? I honestly hate the honey type wax with the muslin strips and prefer the wax that requires no strips, but that would cost more.
The first time I went, I think the female owner talked me into also having my then 12 yr old daughter getting her brows done. Together, my daughter and I got our brows and upper lip done. They looked better than when I went in, but she didn’t handle my brows or face with care and while tweezing what she couldn’t wax, it felt like I was being stabbed multiple times.
That first time, she did give her attention to me, asking me some personal questions. I don’t really mind that, but the place is small and noisy and though they do do the facial waxing in sort of another room, if you call it that, just a little cubby with a table with towels over it.
I think I’ve been there now a total of 4 times and not because they do a great job, but because it’s close to where my kids go to school and they are cheap. They don’t do the worst job, but it’s not a good job. The customer service is very poor and when the wife is doing my brows, she’s speaking loudly to her husband or other people across the shop, not quite shouting, but talking really loud.
Seriously, I’m wondering if she’s going to accidentally stab my eyes with those tweezers. She is definitely NOT gentle with my face in doing the waxing and sort of scary. I really need to find another place because she doesn’t seem to take care in her work.
They are a Vietnamese owned place and I’m really used to Asians being rude in general. So, just from the perspective of that and me being Asian, though, if I were Caucasian, I wouldn’t tolerate it, I might go until I find another place that has better customer service.
My face, the last time, was left feeling like my brows were being attacked by metal push pins for a few hours. Really an unpleasant experience. I can’t wait until it’s within my budget again to afford my Nina or someone who can more professionally do my brows in a safe manner AND make my face light up by doing a great job. I know it’s possible because for years I had the best aesthetician in the world.

not clean, worst gel manicure ever and ruined my nails – Jimmy finished it –his wife started it. Nails sanded too thin and they talk to other people and look away while they’e filing, sanding and cutting. They cut two times now into the side of my thumb nail, which causes it to catch and tear off the same day, or soon. Their 10 or 12-​yr old daughter brought the colors to pick (she is much too precocous to be customer focused – she’s narcisstic and I want an adult waiting on me). They have to open bottles to look at gel color – no samples. Gel drying machine is sitting on a priority mail box on top of chair in customer wait area. Pedicure okay. Won’t come back. This place like many with Vietnamese want your money, they don’t understand service (or cleanliness in this one) and why we really come to these places. They also try and nickle and dime you on price, for instance give you a deal to take off gel from previous manicure, when you’re getting a new gel manicure. They want to use the dremel to sand your nails down to the quick. How about healthy nails and return visit. This place I’m surprised stays in business. Sadly it’s not in a category by itself although the others are cleaner. Jimmy should stay away from nails and customers, and just keep quiet. The girl might be cute to some customers but I am not coming to have a 12-​year old wait on me. No thank you.

I got my nails done there last Thursday for the first and last time. I would never ever go back there. The man who did my nails burnt two of my fingers really bad. The place was dirty and messy and talk about noisy he asked me to many personal questions. To top it off he answered his cell phone and talked on it about 10mins all load and on speaker phone. So rude and bad customer service. It might be a little cheaper there but as the saying goes u get what u pay for!!!

Went here 4 times, 2 of the 4 was to get my gel manicure re-​done. All bubbly and rough. So much time wasted. After giving them a second chance I end up wasting 2 more hours in getting my nails re-​done, all while the nail tech was practicing her english by asking me about my personal life. Super fun. Then owner blamed the poor quality on his tech, then does an even worse job. Told him if I wasn’t given a discount or something free I wasn’t coming back, he said he didn’t care. So, super excellent customer service. Don’t come here unless you like being massively punished.

First time try the service and would not go back. Sloppy job on manicure and cracking jokes about my private life for first time they ever met me was inappropricate. I’ve experienced better service!
