I go to starbucks way too much and I used to like this location, then the guy who took my order this time was incredibly rude! It could just be a one time thing but seriously, just be a little civil

While this location occasionally has its issues, they’re overall pretty fast. They do my typical chai latte order without messing up, and I enjoy the plentiful seating space for meeting people over coffee.

Very nice location and employees! They are always friendly and faster than the other Starbucks I’ve been to in town.

Good coffee as every other Starbucks. Waiting for your drink takes FOREVER here. Opened on the weekend of 7⁄4 so I got to study here when all libraries were closed.

Worst Starbucks in america. Slowest most incompetent place. Baristas socialize with each other instead of making drinks. I will never come back. Worst. Don’t ever go. Wow.

My mother insisted I try the new s’mores Frappuccino next time I got a chance, so after the last day of classes, I figured why not reward a long semester’s work with a little treat? I seen a sign that said half-price Frappuccino happy hour from 3−5pm the first 10 days of May. It was May 6th at 2:45, so I took a stroll around the block and got back right in time to be side-swiped by a mob of sorority girls shuffling into Starbucks. After a methodical queue and only about 5 minutes of total wait time, my order was courteously taken, and within another 3 minutes, I was holding the fabled s’mores frap. I thought it was delicious! Of course, I come here so infrequently that it seems like everything they have here is pretty swell, no matter what I get. For the prices they usually charge, it better be, at that! I especially didn’t mind the price, only $ 2.60 for a grande! I think if Frappuccinos were discounted this much all the time you’d probably see me in here a lot more often. It seems some of the other reviewers have not had quite as good of experiences, citing long wait times and grouchy baristas. Maybe I got lucky today, but this Starbucks was moving people and doing it unusually quick, too. Numbers were being handed out and called up very expeditiously, it seems they had a bit of an assembly line going on the Frappuccino’s behind the counter. Half price fraps, quick and friendly service, and a tasty caffeinated beverage surely deserves a good review in my book.

Such a long wait): 5 baristas, I counted. 1 on register, 1 on bar. Huge line. Another was making drinks too, but seemed to just stop and go, depending if she had a lot to say to the other guy who was literally leaning against a counter, not doing anything to help. The 5th barista was sweeping and talking. Why? There is a HUGE line. I understand having roles, but customers first, then duties. Get us out of there so you can sweep later. We want out as bad as you want us out. We’re all students, even the workers, but come on… All in all, drinks are okay. It’s Starbucks so, it’s mediocre and inconsistent. But it’s caffeine. Sweet caffeine. Just expect to wait… and watch the baristas have fun while you awkwardly watch them while waiting for your americano forever…):

If I could do no stars I would I went into this Starbucks today and the guy on the red was nice and pleasant however the barista had a horrible attitude she didn’t make my drink the way a requested and she had a horrible attitude her name was Megan and she needs some coaching on customer service. I’m from Cali and I would have never gotten this type of service out there. I love Starbucks but this trip disappointed me to the max for the reason I’m visiting and can’t get good customer service. Even the manager on duty handled it poorly and just kind of ruined my trip, however, I’ll have to try another Starbucks in town.

I come here a lot. There are lots of power outlets especially in the back, and the WiFi is pretty decent thanks to Google. The employees are also very nice. If you have a gold card, the refills are great. I think overall this Starbucks location is better than the one in the Illini Union and has more consistent quality than Espresso Royale.

Their pace of making drinks is the slowest of all the Starbucks I’ve ever been to. Plus, the new barista(the one with ginger hair and glasses) seems like either he has a stick up his *ss, hates his job and/or life. I asked him for a refill and he didn’t say a word and just gave me attitude and shoved the drink at me. This my discomfort with him happened on multiple visits.

Slowest Starbucks we’ve ever been to… Ever. 5 people working behind the counter… 1 making coffee, 1 working register… The rest not helping while 10 of us wait… And wait… And wait… Thankfully coffee was good.

Starbucks is just disgusting coffee in general wherever you go. One time I ordered an iced mocha and it ended up being some watered down coffee with a bunch of chocolate syrup floating at the bottom. Idk about you but that’s disgusting. They always put way too much ice in the coffee too even after I ask them not to as well. Overall do yourself the favor and just stay away from Starbucks coffee. Local places are usually a lot better.

The baristas are really friendly and work really quick considering how many students there are in line, no matter what time it is.

Have been a few times and have never had any problems with orders. They move the line of customers pretty quickly. Staff is friendly. There is a decent amount of seating, but it usually gets quite full with students. Sometimes even during the holiday breaks.

I was quite pleased with this Starbucks location. The worker was rather friendly: giving us insight into their new drink options, making recommendations, explaining some of their products, et cetera. Also great about this Starbucks was the fact that it had tons of seating! Loved how super spacious it was with plenty of tables. The atmosphere overall was super inviting, giving off good vibes that made you want to stay even if you weren’t planning on it. This Starbucks is doing Champaign proud.

Great caramel macchiatos here but the wait is too long and sometimes the coffee doesn’t turn out as good as it should.

As far as Starbucks go, this one is pretty nice. It’s on campus, so of course it’s full of students most of the time, but all the times I’ve been there I’ve been able to get a table. Things I like about this Starbucks: –The staff are friendly –They actually remember to give me a discount for bringing my own cup(this is the first Starbucks I’ve been to where the staff remember EVERYSINGLETIME – thank you!!) –The location is convenient –The drinks are consistent and good So, while I prefer Café Kopi for their espresso drinks and comfy café atmosphere, I’m definitely willing to «settle» for Starbucks when I need a caffeine boost between classes.

This is a pretty big Starbucks but do not be fooled, it fills up early and quickly with students who want that«I am studying in a café» feel. Drinks are decent though I can only really comment on the nearly sickeningly sweet caramel apple cider I tend to order. I enjoy the window seats that have a good amount of space for a laptop, and I had no trouble with outlets.

Awful! Only go if you’re desperate. A friend and I ate there one night as it was late and cold and I’d eaten at enough Starbucks to think this one would be just as predictable as the others(and I don’t mind Starbucks normally. I like the baked goods.). Well, this one was a real disappointment. I had what must have been 2 week old coffee cake. It was so stale that the edges were almost rock hard. My friend had some kind of «sandwich» with mystery meat. Weird looking bacon and cooked egg. We barely got the food down, but we were hungry. The other thing that was really annoying is they seemed to be out of about half their food items. Muffins? No. Scones? No. Soup? Forget it. It was packed with students, but I didn’t notice if they were actually eating anything. Never again!
