Dr. Chai is great… If you can get around to seeing her. She’s friendly and knowledgeable. You can tell that she really cares about her patients — young and old. The outsourced lab techs who draw blood are also wonderful, cheery women. Lastly, they are open half day on Saturdays! Praise the lord… Someone’s thinking about working professionals.
Honestly, that’s where the praise ends. Dr. Chai and Dr. Bao have the worst admin staff I have ever met. It’s a shame because my mom has been going to them for years for my grandma, with one of the major perks being that they are both Chinese doctors.
It is impossible to make an appointment. The admin staff is rude, cuts you off, and makes no attempt to work with your schedule. In fact, one of them told me that they don’t allow any walk-​ins, which is definitely a lie.
The nurses are unprofessional and impatient. It’s as if you are taking up their time by needing annual, routine check ups.
If you can get in to see Dr. Chai, you are in good hands. But good luck fighting through the nasty admin staff.
