I’m a big fan of Chinese food. And this was by far on of the sorriest excuses of Chinese food I’ve ever had. The lo mein was like mush in my mouse. I had two bites of my General Tso’s chick before I just put my fork down. It was flat out disgusting!!! I’m not sure how they are sill in business serving food that gross.

I don’t go anywhere else for my Chinese food. Just had the amazing wonton soup because I’m sick like a dog and already I feel better. When I can stomach food again, I’ll be back to get my crab rangoons and kung bo shrimp. I pour the gravy over my rice it’s so good. Sweet and sour chicken is another favorite PS the address on here is wrong. They’re where Franklin’s Grill used to be before Katrina. 1515 East Judge Perez

I was cautious going here after reading the other reviewers but I’m glad I went here. My wife & I got hungry late after a lazy day we both were craving Chinese food. We were going to go to the closest but said what the hell we haven’t been to China ruby in years. We arrived 30 min to closing, I hate going so close but we were hungry and a hungry fat guy is not a good thing. We started with crab ragoon, they were typical but very good and tasted fresh, also got egg rolls. The egg rolls were ok, we also got some yaka mein soup, it was great tons of flavor and very hot. Our main meals were mandarin chicken with fried rice and combo low mein. The fried rice was awesome had to fight the wife for it, the low mein was damn good also. Overall the meal was great, we passed up 3 other Chinese restaurants and glad we did. Our server was very nice and very helpful. Look forward to the next time and trying something new

Bless their hearts, they tried. Had two entrees and an app, both of which were pretty low on the totem pole. The servers were nice but disinterested. If you want greasy Chinese food you’re better off going to Hot Wok in the parish.
