My regular dentist recommended Dr Palermo for a consultation for the possibility of a root canal. I called, and the office person was extremely helpful and courteous, answered my questions and I made an appointment for the next morning.
Everyone on the staff was very pleasant and welcoming. (This is an important issue for me.) I was brought into the exam room immediately and Dr «Joe»
Palermo introduced himself and began doing the testing to determine the problem. He stated that one tooth did need a root canal, and he started the procedure immediately. There was always an assistant in the room and they worked seamlessly together. (another good feeling)
The procedure was totally painless, and took less time than allotted.
The instructions and Rx’s were ready as I was leaving, and Dr Joe made a follow-​up call on Monday after the Friday procedure.
I’ve had no problem since the root canal, and I would recommend Dr Joe to any of my friends or family.

I had to get 2 root canals he didn’t communicate with my dentist as promised and now he wants to charge me 130.00 just to come in because the same tooth is having issues again. He won’t call my dentist to go over the issue still. Hasn’t he collected enough with the first two root canals. I have now spent 2×−1200 for the root canals and 800 for the cap…= 3,000 $ on one tooth! What is another 130 bucks! I even asked if there was any flexibility with the price because I can’t afford it and I was Told no that is their price and there is no flexibility.

I have given Dr. Palermo the test of time. I had my root canal by Dr Palermo (specifically the tooth had been root canaled 10 years prior by another dentist), so this was actually 2^nd root canal on the tooth in summer of 2011 and I have had no problems with it since. Dr. Palermo and staff are very nice and they help you feel relaxed. That’s normally impossible for me because I’m a most fearful patient! He shows you the xray and explains what needs to be done and tells you what he’s doing as he does it. His equipment reminds me of something from Star Trek, as everything is so modern. It was a gentle procedure which was done in two visits and the noises made by the machines are very quiet and not at all disturbing. Soon after my procedure, my mom also needed a root canal and her experience was the same as mine. Fees also are reasonable. If you need a root canal of any kind, have no fear with Dr. Palermo. I had previously checked out his great reviews so I felt confident from the start.
