The threading part was great. The «makeup artist» laid on the brow powder way to thick and made my eyebrows look huge and blocky. She was not clear about the «deal» I was getting for the holidays. A true salesperson… she then convinced me to purchase the brow powder, highlighter, and two brushes (more holiday sales) which I was excited about until I asked to check the colors and noticed she swapped the highlighter color to a different one than used since they had sold out of the medium light shade. I asked for an immediate return and the transaction toon an additional fifteen minutes since she had to call her manager and didn’t know how to process a return. While she was waiting for her boss to cancel the transaction remotely she continued to try to convince me she used that lighter color even though it was not in her hand the whole time… overall it was a pretty good experience gone bad.

I like a couple of ladies that work there but, the business as a whole we will not patron again. We bought a membership and they always have trouble pulling up our information on their computer system. They always have to call some IT guy or something (the ladies can never explain what they’re doing when they call) it’s all very shady. So, one day my daughter went to get her brows done and the lady asked for her ID (which in the last 4 months they’ve never asked for ID). Long story short they charged her and after I disputed it they did not refund our money back. Do not get their membership. They have bad business/​customer management skills.

I’ve been here twice. The first woman I had was really nice and gentle. The second time I got a different technician who seemed a little curt, but not rude. The quality of work was better the first time, but the second wasn’t bad. It’s fine. But oh my GOD, the upselling! I know it’s probably coming from management and the technicians probably make a much needed commission, and I tipped well both times bc I know that pressure and it sucks, but I hope management is reading this bc it’s really unbearable! Saying no four or five times doesn’t mean anything, they still keep asking, telling you the same thing over and over and asking, well why not? Why don’t you want the membership/​gift card/​powder/​other service? I SAID NO. I’m not going to buy your membership bc I’m not coming back bc you won’t leave me be when I tell you no multiple times :(

The service was alright to be honest. Quiet mediocre considering that it’s set up in the middle of a hall in a shopping center. My only complain is their system is so slooooowww. It took a couple of minutes for their computer to load so the lady tried swiping my debit card again and again. I eventually was able to make a payment after what seems to be forever. Then i asked for my receipt, which took them more than 10 minutes. I grew impatient and just walked away without a receipt. Then i checked my bank statement through my phone just to discover that they charged me for their service twice. Im so dissapointed.

I’ve been going to SHAPES for a couple of years and they do a good job. I like Marisol’s work, she takes her time but my brows always come out perfect. If she is not there I just tell whomever is working that I just want them cleaned up and they do not change the shape or make them thinner. I like them… going back this week!

I’ve been coming here a couple of months now, and am so glad I decided to try this place out. I go to Sonnel. She does an outstanding job every time! She takes her time with your eyebrows and she does them perfectly always! It’s a little pricey than most eyebrow places but it’s worth it if you want your eyebrows to look good!

I like the fact that the brow bar is a bit enclosed (even though it’s in the middle of the mall). I went on a Friday afternoon and there were only two girls there so I had to wait (but it was only about 5 mins).
I was initially put off that the girl who was doing my brows re-​shaped them after I specifically asked for them to be cleaned up and NOT re-​shaped. BUT, once I got home, I realized that she had done an awesome job!
Overall — Nice job on my brows for only $ 10. I will definitely be back — — and on a Friday so I can try and get the same girl to take care of me again! (:
