How do you run out of chicken. CHICKEN is in the name. This restaurant is extremely poorly run. We stopped by to pick up dinner for the family. The guy says hi when we walked in but we took a few minutes to look at the menu. We order a family meal and he says, «Oh, we’re out of chicken right now». I have so many questions… HOW do you run out of your own product??? WHY would you not mention that when we first walked in??? WHERE is the manager??? Certainly not managing the store to make sure they have product to sell. WHEN were you going to cook some more chicken??? ALSO, why is the drink fountain a mess? I know you have some time in your hands since you are definitely NOT cooking chicken. Horrible place.

Consistently inconsistent. I’ve lived in Cerritos for 28 years and this place hasn’t changed much. Still the same crummy, inedible chicken. I just went after grabbing donuts for my family, because we love Goody’s, and for some reason I was like chicken sounds good. I don’t know why I keep giving them chances, but I did, and had instant regret when I got home and attempted to eat it. How hard is it to fry chicken? I used to work in fast-food, they have timers for goodness sake, USETHEM!!! Someone needs to put this place to sleep, it’s time to give them the boot. Leave Goody’s donuts and replace everything else there. This plaza hasn’t been the same since AlphaBeta closed!

Service is slow and they never have chicken ready and always have to wait. They won’t tell you they don’t have it ready until you pay and then you have no choice but to wait for them to cook it.

During daylight hours, service is pretty good and the food is what it is… Greasy chicken with a Taco Bell also… I made the mistake of coming here at about 9 p.m. one evening even though the sticker on the door said they were open until 10:00… There were two workers behind the counter and they seemed to be cleaning up with one customer ahead of me waiting for two burritos… When his burritos were done the counter lady handed them to him and then went back to work cleaning things up while I stood there waiting… Never hello never an acknowledgement never even a glance… After 5 minutes I walked out… I guess I can still come during the day but I won’t come once it gets dark lol

Slow, horrible service. A bucket of fried chicken is not worth 25 minutes wait. You’re better off going to a different branch.

KFC, I forgot you still exist in that Korean-business dominated plaza. Thanks for still being around for the emergency fried chicken cravings. I wish Popeyes existed to serve as a competitor, bc everything about the joint was mediocre. Nonetheless, glad you can be accessible in times of need.

I went to this restaurant(13313 Artesia Blvd in Cerritos) a few years ago and swore I would NEVER go back. The trash cans were so full trash was falling out of the enclosures, the tables were filthy the floor were sticky and the chicken was nasty greasy! Well… Jump forward to now… my boys wanted to go and said fellow students told them it was a really good place. I told them my story, but they insisted saying it couldn’t be. We arrived and I immediately noticed my feet sticking to the floor and making suction noise when I walked. One of my boys lost a flip flop by the register. I told the girl working there that the floor was sticky and looked nasty and her reply was«Really»…I smile and said«Yes» she said«OK thanks I will get it mopped right away». We went to look for a clean table. «We didn’t find one clean one in the place». We get our food and I take a bite from a drumstick. All the meat pulled off the bone and it was hard and dry. I mean JERKYDRY. I spit it out and took it to the front. I asked«What’s with the chicken and how old is it?» The guy said it was just made. LOL! Pant’s on fire you LIAR! He traded it out for a fresh one… the breast I just threw out when I lifted it and the skin slipped off from grease. How pathetic. The girl who was going to mop… came out from the back and grabbed a table and got on her smart phone texting. We sat there for another 10 minutes and someone walked in and stood at the register for maybe 3 minutes before she saw them and went back behind the counter. After she took the order… back out she came and started again with her phone. 5 minutes later someone else walked in, she saw them right away and went behind the counter. Then… back out and on her phone. Bottom line… not a break and the floor never was touched. She looked upset when she saw me take out my phone and start taking pictures. Did she get up…“NO!” so I snapped a few more. I noticed the trash cans were full(ALSO like years ago) so this time I left the trash on the table neatly piled on the tray and said as I passed her… «I would have busted my table if your trash cans weren’t full. She smiled and said…“I’ll empty them.» I smiled and said…“right after you mop the floor??? I can’t wait.” and walked out. So…NEVEREVERAGAIN! I will post the pictures I took. The seats have been repaired with Red Plastic Tape… not just a hole… the complete thing LOL! It was a few weeks ago we went and I just now decided to post… I thought… REALLY rate a KFC… I looked on this site, saw their reviews and said…“Yea…why not!”

They don’t pick up the phone and have extremely poor customer service. Their food comes out extremely slow.

Terrible customer service. Chicken piece as small as a half dollar coin is counted as a whole piece. No utencils included in the to go package. Don’t patronize this place. I would give zero star if I can.

Very bad service here. We walk in and it’s only 8:30 and they don’t close till 10… Both the employees look at my friend and I and continue to clean and do what they were doing. We made eye contact an I know they knew we were there. I will never go here again. All they cared about was cleaning everything before 10 so they get off earlier. They don’t care about any of their customers.

The Kentucky Fried Chicken franchise was once referred to as Kitchen Fresh Chicken, but it’s far from it, since the chicken here is much greasier at this location. That may or may not be to your liking. Nevertheless, Colonel Sander’s secret recipe of 11 herbs and spices still attracts customers all over the world, making KFC the world’s 2nd largest restaurant chain after McDonald’s, with over 18K locations in 120 countries. No wonder they call it — «Finger Lickin’ Good.» The funniest thing about the city of Cerritos is that there isn’t a single drive thru restaurant within the entire city. They outlaw this practice, therefore it sometimes makes the fast food dining experience difficult, especially at this venue, since close parking isn’t always available. Anyways, this place does the job when I have a fried chicken craving and I’m not in the mood to drive far to satisfy that urge. The only combo that I ever get is their 3 piece original wing meal — with mashed potatoes and gravy, coleslaw, biscuit, and regular soft drink. Also, I don’t what kind of lard they use for their butter, but it’s freaking good when paired with the biscuit. I don’t get the munchies often, but when I do, KFC is a fine solution. I subtracted a star because of the addition to the Taco Bell. I’m sure that gives easy access for some customers to «run for the border,» but my experience with their mexican fast food has been nothing but unreal. They do market the Locos Tacos well, but their hard taco shells are often old and stale. It really kills the entire experience. Plus, whoever they hired to make their Taco Bell menu, definitely needs to go back and re-take the exam cause I sense a noticeable distinction in taste and quality of the food, in comparison to the regular Taco Bell locations nearby. BONELESSCHICKEN? Every time I see one of these posters, I get the longing to someday dine inside a Kentucky Fried Chicken location and start saying — «I ate the bones, I ate the bones, I ate the bones…» I wonder how the others will react?

This place scared me when I went. The food was cheap and okay, as much as a person wants going to a Taco Bell or KFC. But the keeping up of this place was not good at all. Everything was every where. All over the floor and the place was just not up kept at all. The lady that served me at the counter was very nice though. That probably brought them up to two stars. Honestly, this is one of the worst I’ve been to.

Unequivocally the worst run KFC/Taco Bell venture I frequent. From what I can gather, an Indian(dot not feather) family owns the franchise and employs primarily family. Service is friendly but output slow. Most importantly, there is always something wrong or incomplete with my order. The only non-family employees I have witnessed are two asians(usually reliable assuming they speak functional English). One particular one was a female filipino oompa-loompa senior citizen; cute and had lots of sass but does not pay any attention to detail and borderline incompetent. I assume she can’t read so all orders are verbalized to her. Given her age, the accents, noise, crowds etc. this is a huge gamble you’re taking especially if you’re in a rush or have a large order. They are stingy with kfc hot sauce, taco bell sauce, ketchup, honey but will provide more if you press them. I would give them 1 or 2 stars but am too much of a fan of the YUM! Brands to give them any less.

I used to come here often back in the 90s when it was strictly a KFC. Currently, it is a KFC/Taco Bell 90s, and I was shocked to see most of the equipment has been the same since I was a child, but not in a nostalgic way. No drive thru(Cerritos City Council morons), but the place is messy and dirty looking. The cashier was a moron, but that I’m sure the employees are transitory, so I don’t think a review about that would do much good, but the worst part is that they charge more here than at regular taco bells and KFCs that actually have a clean store and drive through. They charge more on everything by about $ 1 more, yet there is so much less. It’s kind of a depressing corner of a fast food joint.

I have to admit — the service here about a year ago was HORRIBLE. However, my last 2 visits(the last few weeks) have been great. The cashier guy was very professional and polite. The other employee — the Asian gal was very sweet. She made sure I had enough sauces/etc. The cashier guy took my coupon and handed it back to me saying to keep it for next time(so that was cool). I don’t expect much from fast food chains — so the 4 stars is based relative to other fast food experiences and not because I think that KFC is a 5-star dining experience.

This place does not have a drive thru as cerritos disapproves of them. Which is a pity because the point of fast food is that it needs to be fast. This is not one of the better KFC/Taco bells because every time I order here the chicken is super greasy(more than the average KFC). Since its the only KFC around in Cerritos, your options are pretty limited.

OK, hands down it’s still KFC Fried Chicken with the best taste and price. So any KFC outlets is a magnet for me. I was going to give this place a 2 star before my wife ask for some KFC again, I guess they changed management and staff as they got better in serving, the last time I was here, I had to wait for my 2 piece meal for 20 minutes, but this time 3 orders for only 5r minutes, very good recovery from the last service. Definitely coming back here soon and hope they keep the good service up.

Let me start off by saying that this place was horrible. It was the closest KFC and/or Taco Bell to my house and I would drive to another one to avoid it… However, they seem to have gotten the point… new management(new owners?) and everyone that was working there seems to have either been replaced or retrained since I didn’t recognize any of the staff. They admitted that they are a «slower» unit in volume so late at night(between 9:00 and 10:00 closing) they may run out of some chicken and have to cook to order– it’s a cost saving/food saving thing… I was there at 9:00 and had to wait 8 minutes for Hot Wings– but I’m not going to complain if I get freshly-fried Hot Wings– a rarity at ANYKFC if you frequent the stores. The service was better– still not light-speed like a stand-alone Taco Bell but they are trying. The Taco Bell customers that were ordering while I was waiting were getting their food in under 2 minutes. I did have a conversation with the new manager that was there and she said the owners knew they had a problem, knew they were rated badly, and changed staff and training to try and make it better. I had my first pleasant experience there– fresh, hot Hot Wings and witnessed the«Power of Unilocal» in action…

This place is so TERRIBLEKFC store! Never had a experience like that before in any KFC restaurant… they r so slow and never smile! Better get new cookers for who makes tacos… I ordered $ 15.00 with a fourteen piece as a special menu and very EXPENSIVE cole-slaw($ 3.89)…but the meal is TOODARK and was soggy… they said ran out of original and offered crispy because we had to wait 20 – 30 minutes to get original… also the crispy on the top was good but when it got to the middle it was dark and I thought it was a few days old… The service is not good and also people act like they are slaves and don’t want to work… So I will NEVERNEVERNEVER come to this store AGAIN! People must consider themselves before they come to this horrid place of grease! WEWILLNEVERCOMEAGAINANDALSOMAKETHEMGOOUTOFBUISNESSBECAUSEHOWBADTHEYDOTHEIRSERVICE!!!
