Dr. Apted is an amazing optometrist! I was a patient of his at his previous office and I have followed him over to myeyedr. He is so thorough as he explains each step of the eye exam and the results of your vision screenings. He also shows you a model of the eye to assist in the visual explanation. He takes his time, answers all of your questions and you never feel rushed. My family and I love him!
My Hahn assisted in finding me two pair of glasses that look good on my face shape. She was very helpful, discussed all of the lens options available, and did not rush me to make my decisions.

I met Dr. Apted today for the first time as a walk-​in and was so impressed. He reviewed all of my screening tests and did a thorough check of not only my vision but the structure and function of my eyes. He even showed me on a model the parts of the eye and how our vision works. He was thorough but also very efficient and I had very little waiting time. He brought me to Hannah who then ordered my new contact lenses and summarized my appointment and options for me. As she was doing so, I was looking around and amazed at the improvement in my vision with the contacts Dr. Apted had just given me. Dr. Apted and Hannah are a great team and I’m so glad to be one of their newest patients! Thank you both!!!

Sadly, Dr. Apten has closed and joined My Eye Doctor of Centreville. That place BLOWS! Read my review. Anywho… I guess I’m back on the hunt for a great optometrist and office. :/

He’s like the best eye dr. EVER. Super awesome, fast, and knowledgeable… only hesitation for 5 star is that the selection of glasses are AWFUL and OVERPRICED. So sad.

Why didn’t I go here first? Not sure. I had visited another eye care doctor in Centreville (whom shall remain nameless. for now) who blatantly lied to me about insurances that were accepted. So be wary, another review to follow… That same eye care doctor which felt like a dealership with the pushy up sells and factory like production line they moved you through so quickly you almost forgot what you were there for took me out of my contact brand and into a different kind. Hmmm okay you’re the doctor. My point is THAT doctor royally jacked up my eyes so much so that I had to get a second opinion, call out of work and get medication. Which leads me to how I found Dr. Apted’s office! Availability of appointments? Wonderful. Front desk staff? Sweet as can be. The doctor? Extremely informative and took his time, I didn’t feel rushed out the door. I’m one of those people that have an idea of all the things I need to and want to ask the doctor but usually forget or I’m not given the time and attention where I can. Dr. Apted was so extremely informative about my condition, prevention, care and follow up. Explained everything and why it had gotten to that point. I literally got schooled. Since my visit with him my eyes have finally bounced back. As simple as the fix and prevention was I’m completely disgusted at the initial eye care doctor I had seen previous to Dr. Apted. I should have walked out right when I got that sleazy vibe. Lesson learned I suppose. This should be the only eye doctor you see in Centreville if you want great care and attention.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Apted’s for a long time and give him a big thumbs up. I wear both contacts and glasses and have been really happy with both. I recently got new glasses and realized for the first time that they have a ton of frames (I usually just get contacts and roll out). It was cool because if you need help picking out a frame they are really helpful without being pushy. Their prices were good too. I highly recommend this office!

Need an optometrist in the Centreville? Dr. Apted does a great job and his office staff area fantastic. They take most insurances and have excellent hours. Their selection of glasses is also rather impressive for the size of their office.
