This is one of the best places to ride. Tons of options, from beginner to more experienced. They have a small Motocross track, and a couple of mud bogs to keep things interesting. Great way to spend a day or even a weekend, with their camping options.

I went to Mountain Ridge yesterday. I rode for almost 4 hours. Maybe I saw ¼ of it. I was only person there. It was the best $ 15 I ever spent. The map provided is worthless so don’t waste your time with that. Just pick the name of a trail, allow about an hour and follow the signs. Trails are well marked and all the ones I was on had elements of interest, nice views and varying challenges. This place is a gem and I will be back.

Mountain Ridge ATV Trails is an ATV park in Central City PA. They provide camping and RV hookup sites. They have over 100 miles of ATV trails. The park is only open certain times of the year, April — October. be aware of closing times as well. There are signs for the park on your way through town. You will end up driving down a long dirt road before you get to the park. It will almost seem like you are on the wrong road or somene’s personal property! You will drive under all the windmills on your way to check in. It is a little freaky to see how large the windmills are. The check in trailer is nothing to write home about. They don’t even check registration or insurance. There are port o johns to use but no bike wash. I would also suggest to bring your own lunch. There isn’t much there and the nearest food place is about 7 — 10 miles away. The trails are pretty nice. They are very spread out, however, there alot of rocks. They are rated similarly to other systems, green, blue, and black. The black trails are usually black because of the rocks. I ended up on a balck trail and it took me about 2 hours to complete it. They do have a motor cross track that is set up pretty well and maintained. I didn’t camp while I was there but the sites look ok. They are up on a hill which makes for alot of wind. There are no woods close to them so you may not have to worry about too many critters at night. If you are a beginner I would suggest staying on the green trails and avioding all others. If you like rock climbs this is your place. This is an ok ATV park and we will probably give it another shot. I would like to try some other trails to see if they are better.
